This app is not user-friendly. Logging in with a Google account shouldn't require me to verify my account three times. Also, your "meal deal" is not a meal. it's a choice of breakfast sandwiches at a discounted price. If I want to take advantage of 2 for $5 biscuits, why would I have to go to meal deals to find it? It's not a meal. If someone orders 2 biscuits that are eligible for the deal, they should automatically get the deal, and not get penalized for not understanding your illogical menu.
please don't use. no way to undo orders or get money returned. Often pops up "no Internet" then when you hit OK to clear the error, it just submits an order with extra stuff added on with ZERO way to fix the errors. You just lose the money or are forced to take food you didn't want. Managers can't refund the money and the app has no way to undo or cancel an order. No customer service phone number either.
garbage app. Almost every time I try to redeem/select a reward, at checkout it will not take it, i always get an error "Oops! We're having trouble applying this offer. Please make sure your bag contains all required items." even though my items match the requirements. even scanning the offer at the store they cannot apply. no thanks to this restaurant when you desperately need coupons for their overpriced food
This application is a total piece of trash, number one it moves super slow I spent 30 minutes in the parking lot trying to get a order to go through Only to come to the checkout screen and it would not move forward 10 minutes later after I tried an additional 10 minutes to try to get it to check out breakfast was currently over so I wasn't able to get breakfast I'm just going to go to McDonald's instead This app has always been trashed I don't know why it moves so slow. I've wasted 40 min.
I live in Martinsville, Indiana, and our Hardee's has gone downhill to the point where I don't even want to order my favorite biscuit anymore. The biscuits are always overcooked and hard a lot of times when I order my meals. I ask for no mustard, no ketchup on sandwiches. Add pickle or tomato and always get the normal without my added items and a lot of times when I order the chicken it's over cooked and the fries are usually old tasting, like they've been sitting!! for a while!!
update: Literally none of the coupons ever work in the app, the rewards don't either, and every time I complain they send a coupon that, shockingly, doesn't work. Yes I check what works before using the coupon. Your food is decent, your app is terrible I have a lot of trouble getting the coupons to work when ordering through the app. ones like $4 off of 20 or $5 off ones, even though I have thoroughly read what item is valid for it and what's not, the coupons wont work
this app genuinely sucks. most of the time it's not logged in, there have been times when I'm logged in and then once the order is placed I'm no longer logged in and the points don't register. so many times that I've created an order, and gotten something completely different and not because the store got it wrong, bc the app got it wrong. this app sucks, and I find myself wasting the little bit of money i do spend eating out wasted on what I don't want. sucks.
This is by far one of the easiest to use and order apps. The adjustments made to any food or easy. ordering. the meal is easy. And unlike almost every other point system made by a fast food restaurant, the Hardee's Stars are easy to use. I repeat their star system is easier than any other fast food, restaurants, point system, mechanically and purposefully. get food, not just side pieces
App has developed problems. Gets more aggravating. When I scan a new receipt for the first time that day, it will tell me I've reached the limit. I contacted customer service. Even sent them a screenshot of what it says. First person was willing to help. Told me some things to try and it helped for a minute. Wrote back with same screenshot and was told I must've reached the limit. I'm just about done with thia app. I use it mainly for my Hardees diet coke habit. Turned into more of a hassle.
I love seeing all the details spelled out for me. I know what options are available and can switch between each menu effortlessly. once the order is done the cart is itemized well and there's enough space to not be confused. I prefer the app to ordering in person. no second guessing on who's to blame when something's wrong. (usually me lol)
what good is an app where you can't order for the first 30 minutes the restaurant open? I pass by one Hardee's in the city. I live in on my way to work every morning at 5:00. I have hundreds if not thousands of points saved up and I can't order anything for pickup on my way by until 30 minutes after they've opened? by that point I'm late for work. if I could pre-order in the app the day before or something might help, but otherwise this app is worthless.
It won't even let me create an account. I tried three times, uninstalled and reinstalled, got an account, but now my Email and password do not match the records they have (that I literally just created 2 minutes prior). Clicked to send password reset code and it never came. reading other reviews has shown me they have a lot of issues with managing accounts and rewards. Guess they dont want people using the app
The app works and there are rewards. My biggest issue is the app does NOT tell you when your local store is out of something. This has now happened to me on multiple occasions where I place and order only to find out they don't have the item when I arrive. Other restaurant apps let you know if they're out of something. DO BETTER HARDEES
works good. pretty good deal except at times you can't order the 2 for 5$ biscuits even though they have them at the restaurant. so what's the point if you have to pay full price when you order on the app? but other than that glitch, it's pretty good. but there has been a few times I've had to wait and order at the restaurant and sometimes that takes a bit of time when your in a hurry. so I went back and Gabe 5*because now the 2 for 5 is there and easy to find. easy ordering and customizing.
I just moved to Alabama. The Carl's Jr. app worked great in Utah, but the Hardee's app has given me nothing but issues. The only way it would let me create an account without an error message was to link my Facebook. I really don't like that I had to create an account that way, but it is what it is. The issue I have that bugs me the most is when the app isn't glitching, every Hardee's within a 30-mile radius has online ordering "unavailable." In short, I can't even use the app.
DO NOT install. you will be sorely disappointed. The Hardee's app has not only lost months of revenue from me it's pissed me off. I have lost all the points I had accumulated. I have reinstalled dozens of times only to not get past the verification process of logging in. Don't waste your time installing this app bc prior to it not working at all now. The previous hit and miss was aggravating in itself. Check online to see the problems with the app,and it's been happening for a while. FIX IT!
App works great for ordering. But I, too, have run into the problem where scanning receipts for Stars comes up with an error code. Manually inputting the barcode number has the same result. Let's face it, the rewards are the only reason anyone puts up with an individual company's app to begin with. Without that they're practically useless. I'll gladly update my rating to 5 stars when I can start getting my stars in-app. After all, the rest of the app works great.
It's a mixed bag of issues. I've loved and hated the app. Hardees has the best fast food breakfast menu in the restaurant game. Unfortunately after you've spent your money on the app for purchases, you get points but I've lost about 2000 points and they didn't expire. My total just hit zero one day and I lost all the benefits that my hard earned money was supposed to get me and I have no one to reach out too, no help at all.
They fixed one issue, but the app is still garbage. I have an expired coupon stuck in my bag that I can do nothing with. I try to order something completely different "sorry we can't apply this offer", I try to order what the coupon was for "sorry something went wrong", I try to add a different reward "sorry only one offer at once".. there's no way to remove it. This is the only fast food app I've had for months and wanted to use on several occasions, but it's too buggy to be usable.
Poorly designed app. Two days after an order is complete, I still see the app notification that the order is in progress. This persists through restarting the phone. I had to disable the location permission because it kept tracking me during that time, using more battery than necessary. As for ordering and rewards, I can't redeem points to use as part of a combo. They warn about it taking off the offer, but I shouldn't have to manually add the side and drink for such a common purchase.
