Tried to use a late night eats coupon and it let me order but wouldn't take payment. Went to the store and they said they couldn't help so I paid full price for something I could have ordered cheaper through the app (if it worked!) And it's not the first time I've had issues either. *edit : After reading other reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one with issues so why don't they care to fix it? Wendy's opened nearby so... bye forever Harvey's!
Absolutely ridiculous app! I entered my new address for a delivery, and the driver went to my old address instead. The app clearly overrode my choice, even though my new address is saved in my profile and was correctly displayed. To make things worse, they refused to refund me for this mistake. I can’t trust this app at all. Totally disappointed, especially as a loyal customer.
This app provides a consistently bad experience every time I try to use it. The checkout has not worked with credit card payments for at least 3 months now. I have been unable to add any credit cards either. It tells you to call the store but the number it provides for the store is a different restaurant. This is a very disappointing experience.
Tried to order and it was too much work to find out the app does not work properly. Not user friendly. There is never offer deals available. When I finished my order and go to payment, it says something went wrong cannot process payment. Tried that a few times and didn't process. Waste of my time. No Wi-Fi in several locations Ive been to. Went to McDonalds instead.
Everything works except the step where you accept my money. Inexplicable error most of the time. Nothing changes in the info I am using, state of the app (always fully updated), account, location, card expiry (always a valid and nonexpired card). I order the SAME ORDER every time. About 80% of the time you just don't want my money and I go waste it on inferior food at McDonald's. Fix the app and not only will I purchase more, I won't get frustrated enough to stop ordering entirely. Embarassing.
Worked for a little,now I get error message. Tried different accounts and different credit cards. Many times I tried to order but ended up having to order from another restaurant. This app is useless when it stops working. I also tried reinstalling the app (January 2022). It's may 2023 and the problem still happens all the time. Avoid harverys for now as there apps don't work.
Had a difficult time downloading the app. when I tried to use it today, the app constantly glitches (unable to locate me, connection error, etc). The app was such a headache to use. I signed up and logged in. but it kept booting me out. I had placed a food order but the order never went through to the store (huge backlog due to the influx of orders and app users, around 40 minutes), and numerous people were clearly frustrated. Awful app! not worth your time
Wow. Honestly. I used this app for the first time was easy to use. The apps fine. But I didn't receive the right order and there isn't a way for me to contact support. So I get a meal I didn't want that cost a 3rd of what I actually paid. Very displeased. Not really with the app but with the people who get delivery jobs/ fast food jobs. Are you all under developed? Can you not read? Why is it that 4/5 times I order food they mess something up. I refuse to believe it's that hard of a job.
The add scene card option has never worked for me. I have been unable to pay with my credit card on the app for some time (getting the "oops" message error). I have confirmed with my bank that there is no block at their end and in fact the payments do go through (they show on my online banking as payment + reversal). There is no way to report bugs in the app or contact customer service. The app is useless for me right now.
The first time I tried to add my card so I could do a mobile order, it gave me an error and wouldn't let me. The second time it let me add the card, but then couldn't process my card for the order. As a side note, I swiped my scene card on both visits, and for orders of over 10$ each, I only got 1 scene point each.. going by the current exchange rate of points to cash, 1 scene point is exactly equivalent to one penny. I'd literally have to spend thousands of $ here in order to get one free movie
app keep on crashing. payment did not go thru. none of my cards were accepted. reinstalled the app did not fix the issue. did not use the app for a few weeks. today, I want to order something after work and could not get the app to load. This is the 4th time in a row that I couldn't use the app to make an online order. (Yes, it has to be an online order because thats the only place where you can see and use their coupons)..... Please fix the app!
App doesn't work anymore. Says "call restaurant". Charges my card and then reverses the charge. I am not going back til they fix the app. The people in the store won't give the coupon deals at the cashier till. I guess I have to go somewhere else. This happened a few months ago also. After a few months I tried again and it started to work. Same problem has recurred.
Takes payments, doesn't process orders. The app used to work. Lately, with 6 different credit cards used, the app takes payments (I see it on my CC statement), but it gives an error message that the order didn't go through. The restaurant, when called, says they don't see anything on their side either. Totally broken.
Horrible, unreliable. Reproducible crashes, especially when you try to edit some items in cart. Finally got order through, half way there I get called from "Gen 5 Networks". They tell me they couldn't put my order through from app to restaurant, I'll need to order again at the counter when I'm there, ended up late to meet people because I had thought I'd be able to pick up the food and go. Not willing to trust the app ever again.
Awful App. You can't look at the coupons until you pick a location, and it is a ten minute process. I am so pissed, I could have gone through anyone else's drive thru and been eating in the time it takes to change stores. Spinning circle of death. If you're not going to test it, roll it back and hire competent people to fix it. It's still spinning as I wrote this review.
Just bad. It's so needlessly complicated for a coupon/ordering app. I sat at the front desk getting help by half the staff trying to figure out this dumb thing. If I wanna use a coupon I should just go to coupons, see available coupons, click what one I want and get a qr code to scan in the restaurant. I should have to pick my restaurant, the time I'll be there, and full out a 10 minutes questionnaire to get my food.
The amount of work you have to do just to gain access to coupons is counter productive to any convenience provided by downloading said app. Once I was able to see the deals, I was rather underwhelmed. Clunky menus throughout the app. Closed it and went somewhere else. First time an app has ever led me away from what I was trying to order lol
The app itself performed well to place an order for me to pick up, but the restaurant seemed to defeat the purpose of it by not making the order until I actually went inside and asked for it, and then I basically had to give them all the details all over again anyway. Some of your competitors not only have ordering and payment directly in the app but allow me to pick up either in the drive thru lane or park and have it brought out to me. That would be a great addition to this service.
This app does not work at all. I created my order just fine, it is very easy to find the coupons and customize the order. But when I tried to input payment, it wouldnt accept any of my 3 different credit cards (one Visa, one Mastercard, one Amex). I kept getting the general message "oops! Something went wrong! Please try again" and it would not tell me specifically what was wrong. Harvey's I am trying to give you money for your food, but your app is not functional enough to finalize that info
I've tried twice, on different dates, to add two different credit cards and for both I get an error message saying invalid expiry year. I've tried using the full 20xx and just the last two digits, doesnt matter. I really have 0 reason for the app if I cant use it to pay, especially as you have to receive coupons separately and input a code, instead of having them provided by the app like any other. But really there's no reason inputting a credit card should be this impossible.
