Quick to discipline, slow to praise; UPDATE: I've used this application for 1 year, my score averages between 92 to 100. After completing a year, Hastings sent me a beautiful email, because my driving is score was high, I no longer use the telemetry system and my insurance on my second year has gone down by a whopping £800, saving me a lot of money. Hastings gives you time to renew your policy to about 30 days before renewal, a notification in red will pop up in your Application.

I can login perfectly fine, but having trouble accessing payment type to change data doesn't load at all the same with a couple of other things in the app hi, thanks for replying. All good now, sort of as this caused some issues not being able to message you in the app or open my documents, so I've had to go off what I received via email goin to call tomorrow and hopefully get some help and this is the reason I have to stick with 1 star

why can't I find who covers for replacement glass ? nowhere to be found. no company name,no phone number, NOTHING ! Absolutely useless when I have to search the internet and a third party gives the information that my insurer thinks is irrelevant and the app tells me to log in to the app when I am already logged in to the app. for the money,the service is not fit for purpose

Told them I didn't want auto renewel but I've been given it. Tried to cancel but haven't been able to, messaged and emailed but the only way to cancel is to actually phone them! So now I'm being forced to receive a product at a higher price than elsewhere unless I spend ages trying to ring, and get through to a pushy salesperson that only answers the phone after a wait, and between certain hours. Disgusting!

you drive data collection runs power down. you can't put your phone on power saving mode or the app keeps complaining. once my policy renewed and stopped needing data collection, the app still complains that I need to change my phone settings to continue collecting data. customer support has been no help. they just suggested reinstalling the app but that didn't stop the red error messages on the positive side, it's nice to have policy documents available quickly from the app

Horrible experience. I've just bought the app policy but can't even register as the wheel of doom is constantly spinning so I can't access anything. I'll be cancelling as soon as I figure out how to talk to a human being as all the information is telling me to seek help through the app which I can't log in to. Bizarre!

I am finding it IMPOSSIBLE to download the app. Each time I press on 'Download the app' it brings me back to the start, over and over again. I keep receiving emails asking me to 'Create an account'. But each time I follow the instructions it takes me back to the beginning again, and then states that my time has expired.

USELESS!!! I've tried to get into the app god knows how many times now, spoken to customer services, gone through all the motions MANY times and it still won't work !!! On top of that ive tried to do a change of vehicle on my policy to be told that the policy is BROKEN !!! IVE WORKED in insurance and yet never heard of this before !! This has meant ive had to take out insurance elsewhere to be able to use my vehicle !!!! VERY POOR SERVICE !!!!

I have used Hastings for five or six years. MULTI Car cover and Home Insurance. They have always been great to deal with. Good prices, great staff when I've needed to speak with someone and prompt on sending paperwork. What else need I ask for.

I had 80 points on the black box over the Christmas holiday. back to work 4 days later im down to 33 points. let me explain. on my way to work i use tescos and costa. the app takes to long to realise the engine has been turned off so i lose points for touching my screen. i arrived at work this morning and timed how long for the app to turn off. it took 4 minutes. I am disgusted that I've had to drive all year with the underperforming app ands its been the worst year of driving ive ever had.

This app doesn't work properly at all and gets stuck when you select certain folders and options. Don't take out car insurance with this app policy with Hastings Direct, otherwise you'll want a refund. Take out the other one.

The way I actually drive and the way this app gives scores are completely different. I’m forced to use my phone for navigation, and it lowers my score because of that. If I don’t accelerate, the car behind me is going to crash into me but if I do accelerate, the app reduces my score. It’s not accurate. Sometimes it’s so wrong it’s actually funny. These driving score apps act like everyone is driving alone on a perfect test track, not in real traffic with impatient humans and chaos everywhere

App blocked by “Additional Security Check” — no checkbox or CAPTCHA appears I downloaded the app to send a message, but every time I try, I’m taken to an “Additional Security Check” page. It asks me to tick a checkbox or complete a CAPTCHA, but neither option actually appears on the screen. The same issue also prevents me from accessing the FAQs, so I’m completely unable to use the app. Core features inaccessible.

Great app but...... The app used to work well but now it's very hit and miss. When I go to do anything on the app I'm more often than not just left with a blank screen when I select view documents or any item it seems and nothing happens.

!!avoid at all costs!! you cant contact anyone or do anything on the app, it sends you round and round a login online-download the app loop to make minor changes. Im trying to cancel my car insurance but the app just dosnt load that part. oh and you cant call them.

I've followed instructions on how to cancel my policy and all I get is blank screens. what's the point of having the app and telling people you can cancel the policy through the app then not letting you

Very bad app that specialises in the circle of doom when trying to get any info from it. I tried to check my new policy docs as advised but it wouldn't show them and i got the circle. I tried to message Hastings from the app as advised but again got the circle! I called Hastings in the end on the old fashioned telephone and got through to a nice chap who is posting the docs out to me. Good job Hastings has a good back up plan to this hopeless app or I'd be cancelling the policy very quickly.

appalling, completely useless... tried to log in to make a payment, first it said I didn't have any policies and now keeps saying there's a problem! I need to make a payment urgently or my car insurance will be cancelled tomorrow! whoever has made this app should be fired they are useless! I've been with Hastings for years but if my insurance gets cancelled because of this I will never use Hastings again!!

Tried to add a car to my policy. Failed. Tried to change my car. Failed. No option other than a dumb message system. Found the customer service number on Google but queue on the phone 30 mins plus so far. Policy cancellation coming right up.

Problems logging in using face id and pin. Using the logout warns about removing all user data from the app including login info. Thus seems daft if you need to use the app at the side of the road and don't have the password to hand. Is this a feature that can be looked into/ corrected or am I using the app wrongly? (both android and iOS)
