The app is okay, but it's really hard to navigate certain features. I'm tech-savvy and very health literate (I'm a nurse, and work for one of the HealthPartners hospitals), and I find it challenging at times to find certain features or do certain tasks within this app. For example, scheduling a dentist appointment: they inform me that I can do it through the app, but I have yet to figure it out. It's not intuitive in any way.

Can't get past login. When I leave the app to get my access code and then come back, the process starts over. It doesn't open back up to the code entry page. This results in locking me out of my account after too many attempts.

The app needs major upgrades. It is not use friendly and makes it difficult to manage my health with my doctor.

Be aware that the phone numbers listed to contact are not always correct. I've been trying to schedule a 6 month follow up as requested by my MD for the last 3 months and no times are available per the app. the phone number provided was for Park Nicolet and not HealthPartners so they couldn't even try to help me figure out what to do when I called the number provided.

I've updated my review since 2024. This app has improved a lot. It was a rough road, but I find using it to be much better

For a large medical company this app sucks. They should just use my chart like everyone else.

Glitchy and unfriendly UI. Won't even let me pay a bill.

This is the branded attempt to replace the mychart app that everyone else uses. It's awful. This app asks you to enter your phone number and state, all your insurance info, and other things that weren't needed before and aren't necessary. Options can reset, addresses are wrong. the system randomly cancels appointments too, without notifying you. In short, it's a UI nightmare. HP as an org should go back to fax machines. It's not ready for the internet era.

Update: Insurance card load time is faster than before, but still lags. The quick view of insurance info, provider search, and YTD deductible/OOP data are great.

Logging in is a nightmare. Getting a passcode takes hours, not seconds.

VERY basic and not super helpful. The UI is okay, and really the only helpful options are to see your labs and make an appointment (which is super frustrating both in app and on the website). Despite using Epic, they don't use the MyChart app or allow for direct messaging, review of notes from past visits, allow you to see your medications, or even pay a bill in app - all of which I would say are pretty major components needed for an app that is supposed to make my healthcare more accessible.

It would be helpful if it worked consistently. Over half the time when I try to open my Messages or Test Results, it gives me a "500 - Internal Server Error" message. I've updated app, closed and reopened, same error. Have to login through the regular website anyway to view things so app hasn't been too convenient since using it the past couple months.

An extreme disappointment that Health Partners has completely destroyed the great customer service that Park Nicollet offered. A perfect example is this ABSOLUTELY USELESS APP!! Can't message doctor anymore, can't search doctors, can't pay bills (takes you to a website that you have to log into), can't view summaries or even dates of prior visits. Besides simple blood lab work, all test results are displayed with: "This result contains rich text formatting which cannot be displayed here."

App frequently does not load and often reloads to the login screen once through the initial login. There is no way to view documents from within the app, it just downloads them without opening them. At this point, it's less useful than just using a web browser and going the the HP website.

0 stars! This app is so worthless! Doesn't even come close to having the functionality of MyChart. You can't tell if your results are out of the normal range without closely reading each test and figuring it out yourself because there aren't any red flags. Can't compare past results. Can't schedule an appointment without putting in all your health insurance info every time! Don't bother with it as they don't have a clue what they're doing.

I miss mychart. This app doesn't show lab results in a useful format like a table or trend like mychart did. It also doesn't show the lab standard for over half of my results, i can't tell what numbers are good or bad. I have to hunt for old test results and make a table the old fashioned way. I also cannot schedule lab tests or even see what has been ordered. I'm back to calling all of the time.

I'm not sure what is going on with the app. It worked well for a long time now, except for the inability to read messages from my clinicians. For whatever reason, the last few weeks, I try to log in using either bio-verify or by entering my credentials and the screen flickers and asks me to log in like I was trying for the 1st time. I just uninstalled the app and reinstalled it from Google Play. I'm hoping that it will correct the issue. Normally, it is a 4-star app.

Not optimized for my device. The boxes and words, etc are set up for a browser but evidently not my Android device. Additionally, this somehow means I cannot easily send a message to health partners to ask about missing test results, etc. I can send messages, but really only to my doctor, which isn't always who I need to talk with. Otherwise the stuff is there - I am able to view my past medical records, which is certainly handy!

I had to change to the myHP app after Park Nicollet merged with Health Partners. The Park Nicollet app was much more user-friendly and provided much more information than the myHp app. It doesn't allow me to look at my after visit summaries or referrals. As well, it does not let me look at all of my past visits, but only the most recent. Nor does it show me all my doctors and only shows the most recent.

This app no longer let's me submit request for reimbursement. It's extremely difficult to get Health Partners to reimburse anytime. Now after going through the 20 required steps to submit a reimbursement request it kicks me back out to the login screen and nothing goes through. I'm not surprised by this as their whole system is NOT customer friendly and they do anything to keep from reimbursing you YOUR own money.
