Much better than the competition. There is a lot offered in the app for free including the ability to get doctors answers to your personal medical questions. As well as an AI symptom checker. The $10 monthly fee for telemedicine visits is very reasonably priced, and you can cancel your subscription at anytime. Much better than going to an urgent care clinic during a pandemic. And perfect for requesting prescription refills from the comfort and safety of home.
Don't trust your health and well-being to this service. I have been a long term subscriber and advocate of this service but I won't be anymore. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and the doctor neglected to send in my prescription. Urgent care used to be 24 hour, 7 days a week, and it even claims that on the app but they are not open on weekends and only keep daytime hours now.
Health Tap telemedicine is a great tool especially for people who are proactive in their own healthcare. I love how easy it is to schedule an appointment and speak with a knowledable doctor. It saves me a ton of time and money!!
Oh my goodness, Dr. Kahlon was lovely, wonderful and very professional. She listened to what I said and how I felt and then diagnosed and prescribed what I believe is an accurate assessment based on my symptoms. Also! the app is sooooo easy to navigate!
The app was easy to use. The picture and sound were clear.
Dr. Harte, was a breath of fresh air. I just needed a prescription refill but, Dr. Harte, didn't rush the appointment. I felt heard and will be booking an appointment for a menopause consultation.
He's very efficient and he's straight forward with questions. I'd recommend him.
I had to request a refund. My doctor cancelled on me twice less than an hour before my appointment without contacting me, and I can't message him because that option doesn't exist until after the first visit. Update: It seems that my provider did send me messages, but due to a bug in the platform, I only found that out by asking support. Since I can't send him messages, I can't let him know that the reason he cancelled doesn't actually apply and that we can go ahead with the visit. Disappointing
This app has so many issues it affected me getting my prescription in time. If you pay for it annually you're supposed to have free texting to your doctor but every message I send gets deleted and my doctor doesn't see it. Then I have to contact technical support for them to fix this same problem over and over and it never gets fixed and there's no other way to contact your doctor and get refills on prescriptions, etc. My doctor was also incompetent and didn't order my prescription in time.
The best Healthcare related app out there. Love the ability to ask questions to doctors and visit a primary care doctor if needed. I would recommend bringing back the ability to send messages directly to doctors for a second opinion. The support team is not always helpful but the app is the best out there as I stated.
Update: Battling log-in issues within the app and the website. Please advise. HealthTap is incredibly helpful, and I have installed it on all my mobile devices. Ask a medical question, and you are alerted when the question is answered by different doctors. This app and the doctors involved are what spurred me into finally getting the medical help I needed.
This was my first experience using this method of visiting a doctor, and everything was impressive! It was nice to be able to schedule a visit for a specific time and not be left waiting for an hour! The service called me 10 minutes in advance to get me all set up and ready for the appointment and the instructions were easy to follow. I will be recommending Health Tap to others!
Had one appointment, connection was laggy, but otherwise fine. Sometime between the first and followup appointments, the doctor left the platform, which I only discovered upon trying to schedule the second call 3 months later. I then found that there were no doctors who could prescribed medication or tests in my state. Healthtap continued charging me without alerting me to the fact that I would be completely unable to use the service, and support effectively told me to cancel and f off.
Nothing too bad, just annoying at a level of ignorance. For instance they force you to scroll through 40 or 50 years of dates to punch in your birthdate. Rather than just type it. They offer no obvioys access to support, no simple button to push. You have ask the system, how do I contact support. Then you only get a phone number.
Most doctors aren't accessible. But with this app I was able to get 24/7 access. And get the care I needed. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with the medical director. The lack of empathy towards the urgency of the treatment I needed was very alarming. The misdiagnoses of doctors. I don't even have seborrheic dermatitis apparently! Timed? Ratings? The constan threat of having my account disabled. He suggested seeing local providers instead. So I suggest downloading K Health.
Very helpful for short, to the point answers. Sometimes you get answers from doctors who aren't helpful but usually they say something to point you in the right direction or stop you from worrying. For the free answers you need to know how to write very, very brief and succinct questions because you have very limited characters to use
Easily the worst app I've ever used. I got disconnected 10 times when the app crashed during a consultation. I asked for a doctor's note twice from two different doctor's and never got one. The wait times are ridiculous, "5 minute waits times" are more like 30.
friendly, courteous, listens to my answers, professional. short easy visit.
A little buggy at times but with continuous improvement it will get better. For example, diagnosis was provided by live doctor but feedback popup kept coming up blocking the doctor's advise. Had to go to the website to look at what the doctor said. Dr A.I is helpful for quick diagnosis.
Tried it because the pandemic has made it difficult to see a doctor. Everytime I've used it I get straightforward diagnosis and treatment. It's affordable and convenience. Usually connects you to a doctor in less than a minute.
