Description

Heart Rate Monitor is an app that allows users to measure their heart rate and pulse accurately without the need for a medical heart rate monitor. By simply placing their fingertip on the camera, users can get their heartbeat within a few seconds. The app offers in-depth analysis with waveform graphs and allows for CSV export to print. Additionally, users can access health knowledge and insights from experts and protect their privacy safely with local, Google Cloud, or Google Fit options. To use the app, users need to gently cover the back camera lens with one fingertip and stay still to get their heart rate after several seconds. For accurate measurement, it is recommended to stay in a bright place or turn on the flashlight. The accuracy of the app is ensured by comprehensive and professional experiments. Users are advised to use the app several times a day, especially when waking up in the morning, going to bed, and finishing workouts, for accurate measurement. A normal resting heartbeat for adults ranges from 60 to 100 bpm, but it can be affected by many factors such as stress, fitness level, medication use, etc. However, the app should not be used as a medical device in the diagnosis of heart diseases, and it is not intended for a medical emergency. Users should consult their primary care physician if they need any help. In some devices, the app may make the LED flash very hot, and users should be aware of this disclaimer. Overall, Heart Rate Monitor is a useful app for those who want to monitor their heart rate and pulse accurately without the need for a medical heart rate monitor.

My issue is not with quantity of ads. My issue is that after the ad, when you get the "x" to close the ad, it doesn't work. I constantly have to do an open apps closing (swipe up from bottom) and rid my screen of open apps, which includes Heart Rate app, and then try again. Sometimes it locks up again, sometimes after a different ad you can close that page. You never know what you'll get.

I'm checking to see if I'm in afib or not, the app tests my pulse, right when it's supposed to give the reading an ad for candy crush covered the screen, it plays music, you can't click off, it plays for 30 seconds. I went out of the app by closing it, tried again, same thing, but longer. I understand a free app must pay the bills, but make it after the reading.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that you decided to put ads into this app. I have a condition called POTS and don't have the ability to afford other means of tracking my heart rate when I feel off, So the fact you have added upwards of two minutes long ads into an app to force those who use it to pay for an ad less version, I think is pathetic. I used to have absolutely zero issues with this app, but now I'm on the hunt for something better.
