The game is good. The ads ruined it for me. Having ads by itself I tolerate but not being able to close out ads ruined it. Forever I wait for the ad to end and the X appear to close it out. On way too many ads that never happens. I literally have to reload the game. I've only had the game 2 or 3 days. I uninstalled it. Its not worth it. Reviewer that reports his ads last seconds.... I'd like to see that. I went to the link. There's nothing there to provide phone information. My phone is new
I downloaded this version just to rate the Netflix version: play it enough and you'll realize 1) you start with the 2 of clubs much more than an average of ~25%, 2) if you score too little you will be forced to get the Queen or they'll have a perfect shoot the moon as it becomes 3v1 and not self-interested strategies, 3) changing cards isn't random; you'll mostly get your strategies back. that being said, this version is better than the Netflix one, because of following the cards.
The game play is good, and the AI gives a nice challenge, but it all had to stop when they put ads on the game play board. Since I began playing this app there have been ads after each round. I was used to that and it didn't bother me. But now there are ads constantly during the play of each round. An ad banner runs non-stop at the top of the screen during the play of each round. Thanks for the fun time, now it's uninstalled. Hope your extra ad revenue covers the lost users.
It feels like unless you have the Queen of Spades, or you send it to another player at the start of the round, it will ALWAYS come from the player on the left. It also sometimes feels like the 'Hard' Mode isn't hard enough. The other players make ridiculous mistakes sometimes, not even bad necessarily, just really stupid. There needs to be a third mode, one that increases your rank & is actually more difficult than the Relaxed games. Besides that, it's a pretty solid app now.
The game is fun until you get to the later tiers. I have hit grand master tier and uninstalled the game after playing eight games in a row where the computer shot the moon first hand. The other computers watched it happen. Not only that but each game I consistently got pinned with the queen with very unrealistic hands. The game became unplayable for me to actually enjoy myself. Also, many of the ads are bugged with no way to exit.
Seemed pretty good, at first. Visually, there are almost no options, and it is hard to see the shaded cards. The pace is a little too fast - played cards disappear before you can see them sometimes. But the biggest flaw is the artificial difficulty. In order to make it seem like the AI opponents are better, the app messes with card distribution, among other things. For example, at least one"hold 'em" round each game deals me a doubleton in spades including the queen, or worse.
If your a real hearts player, it's frustrating to see that it gets harder for you and all players are against you running them, which I like. But to see the set up and the algorithm just blatantly makes sure you don't have a chance. I've played for 40 yrs, and some of the card deals and play are unreal in the real world. I get that it's a game, and don't mind it, actually has taught me alot. But keep it real, in the higher brackets, players wouldn't make the mistakes these do. Unrealistic.
Visuals, Effect, and artwork are great; but cannot give it 5 stars. the rate of ads is a bit too common, but the major flaw here is how the cards are shuffled. The shuffling seems to be based on an algorithm that is weighed by your rank to give the illusion that the CPU players are "better than you." This is the case because a hand that only consists of Queens, Kings, and Aces with one jack is more common than expected. I calculated it. It's about 1 in 113 MILLION
I like how the game looks, especially since each suit is a different color. However, getting an ad after every single round is a bit much. Especially if you know how to play the game and can go through rounds fast, you end up spending more time watching ads than playing the actual game.
90% of the Ads require clicking thru 3 or more screens...5% of the ads lock up and require closing the app to get out of them...5% of the ads give fake exit "X" icons that takes you to the advertised web page or app install..going to find a better Hearts app, don't recommend this one. Update: Ads are now 3 to 5 panels of clicks thru to play before every round. This game cheats, you'll get 2 of clubs every round that is no passing. uninstalled. Just one example.😤😡
an ad after every round is ridiculous, devs are just greedy. too bad as it was fun to play but not worth the ads.
Some of the most preposterous card dealing I've ever seen! I only play in airplane mode to avoid the inordinate lengthy ads.
terribly programmed to put q to your left almost all the time. Hands are not realistic. you shouldn't get 4 hands in a row where you get Ace and queen of spade alone. Really frustrating.
Been playing this game for years was lovely a short video between each hand, latest update ruined it long adverts you can't get past between every hand so I won't be playing it again not fun anymore
"No ads" said the banner advertising this in another game...but that, of course, comes at a cost. Otherwise, you will be interrupted between each and every round. Hard pass, not worth the aggravation.
Hearts is a pretty challenging game. I love it when I defeat a villain. I hate getting queens and try to avoid that as they count against you....13 points. The goal is to try and maintain the lowest score as if u reach 100 points before your opponents it counts against you in each game and that ends each game.
Extremely frustrating!!!! This game features a love-hate aspect. It is fun for the majority of the time. There are times when it just infuriates you; it only allows you to shoot the moon if "the computer wants you to." Even if you have all the cards to do it, I gathered all of the hearts and had the Ace and King of Spades, but it gave out the queen on the 10 of Spades. Leaving me with all of the hearts but not the queen.
Game is fun. easy to pass time. you rank up every other round and for what....? they have special characters you can play. but good luck beating them to win the emoji. you can be beating the special character by 50 points and then game gives the 100 points. very annoying. but if your ok with a cheating a$$ algorithm, then fun game.
This game is unbelievably rigged. I've played tens of thousands of Hearts solitaire and can easily spot rigged programming and this game is fraught with it. I either get trick after trick in my favor or, way more often, impossible to win. I normally like Mobilityware games but this one? I'm uninstalling and hope to find a much better version.
Good game but GREEDY! I love hearts but wanting £24 to remove ads is just greed! So many more people would play your app if you reduced the price to £5 to remove the apps. going to find another hearts app that doesn't want to fleece its users!
