Easier to use the website. School now has three apps and a couple of websites and can't keep any of them up to date. Buttons at top of screen indicate they have been tapped but do nothing. Side menu - if you can get it - won't go away. Can't paste in password. Had to use the website to delete the long, secure password I have in my password manager and use 'password' instead. Yay security. Or not use the app. Garbage.

Terrible App. Terrible customer service! There's no customer helpline or key contact for the end user. Have to go through your child's school to log issues. Done this multiple times, very time-consuming & still no resolve. Despite asking to deal with Hero directly, they denied my request. It's such a simple login issue, but no solution. Very disappointed.

Edited.. continues to log out, reduced to 1 star. Really poor experience, I wish I didn't have to use this app. I find the whole IA very confusing, messages and posts appear in various places but no clear understanding of where to find things. Calendars and events never seem clear. Major problems with the app silently logging me out (after updates maybe?), which means I don't know that I am missing updates from school. Please fix the log out problem.

When it works it's good. Notifications are very hit and miss, I don't get a lot of them. I also wish there was a seperate app, 1 for staff, 1 for parents. Working at a different school to which my children go means I constantly have to sign in and sign out to switch profiles. Very annoying!

I never get notifications. I turn my phone off every night, (samsung note20) and there is no option to make the app open and sign in on start up, so unless I remember to open the app and sign in every morning (I never do) then I never get notifications, and I miss everything that is going on at school. There is no option to 'keep me signed in' on the login screen. This is a terrible shortcoming.

As with many others getting logged out and it keeps trying to open in my Web browser instead of by itself. No way for me to directly contact support as it is not an issue with my school as when logged in I have all the things I should. Just logs me out and every login is a fun train of back and forth. Get a "missing redirect Uri" error. Clearly app....

below average really. Functionality isn't great. Notifications don't link to the note. Often difficult to open articles. It's frustrating to use. In 2025 and with the amount of schools using this the app should be much much better. Get back to developer school and bring this into better useabilty. Goes to show how when you milk a cash cow you stop innovating.

Edit: I had to take away another star because now this idiotic app is forcing me to log in every time I open it. literally the worst app I have ever had the displeasure of installing. Push notifications have never worked for me. pretty average UI. looks like some issues have existed for a while and haven't been fixed. apps don't get 2 star ratings by accident.

I use to think it was good but since I had to reset my password all I get is a blank screen not good coz I now can't see any of my children's school reports book appointments with teachers or see my kids classes for next year needs serious work to make it functional since most schools are using this

If I could give it zero stars I would. Our school has changed to this app and no offense but it sucks. Firstly it constantly crashes and never loads properly. Takes you 15 mins just to open it. And thats on app and website. You can't click on photo posted on it and make it bigger to see it better. You also can't seem to download the posts/feed/photos of your child in bulk like you could on Seesaw. Have to go through and save things 1 by 1.

Having an app has been transformational for our school, and this app aligns well with the NZ curriculum. But it is riddled with bugs. At times I can't open it for days on end, despite force stops and reinstalls. Loading content such as PDFs and videos is also a gamble. Pictures load incredibly slowly. Lots of work needed to improve the user experience.

It used to work really well, but now it constantly crashes, logs me out and doesn't notify me of anything. If I didn't have to use it for children's school I wouldn't bother. As of late it keeps telling me the app has closed due to bugs. When it works it works really well. When it doesn't... well it's infuriating to say the least.

Community Feed is not working at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app. Still not seeing any school information and missing out on letters from the school. No point having the app if I can't even see what the school are sending. If there is a bug on your app please can you fix it!!!!!

Rediculous for a modern app not to permit pasting in the login password field. I use Lastpass password manager and it doesn't work with the app as it can't insert the username and password. My password is random and complex and is a real pain to type in. And to make matters worse the app keeps signing me out. Once in its not bad and the notifications are useful. But the sign in process is awful.

So frustrated by this app. The school is trying to put all comms through it but it's one of the most painful apps to use. I've tried offering help to the developer to make it better but they're not interested. On my fully up-to-date Android phone it fails to stay logged in & won't allow me to paste in my password from my Lastpass password manager. Trying to open and read school notices within the app is almost impossible.

1.Login is a disaster, you have to put in username and password everytime you use it. 2. Can't find anywhere for absent report, which was so convenient in Linc-ed before. 3. Found out that the last update was in February. Definitely there's a problem of technic support and development of this app. Unfortunately the school is using it, as a parent I have to live with it.

I've only been on here for term 3 but have had to delete the app twice and download again, due to it not opening. When I type a message to his teachers the app keeps adding many blank rows while I'm typing and when I try and delete them it keeps adding more. Takes me so long to send one simple message.

I have had the same experience as others, having to log in every time, not getting notifications. But the one thing I have just noticed since moving my child to a different school, is that I can no longer see her reports. I needed these to talk to her new school about and a learning assessment coming up. I can still see finances from previous schools but can no longer see reports. As this is the only way schools communicate now, I don't have any paper copies.

Not good. Constantly logs me out, then opens to a white screen. It doesn't send notifications of any changes, but it does send an e-mail to my partners old email address. But there is no option to change the email address, no contact details either. HELP!!

There times when I can't log in for days, like now, but my wife can on her phone with the same username and password. Don't like how you can't make photos larger, quiet slow loading things. Not sure why the school changed to this app, not as good as their last one they used
