Hey Color Paint by Number Art

The positive- There were several pictures that were cute. The big negatives- can't hardly play the game for how much it kicks me out of the app! Literally spent much more time getting ready to "color" than actually "coloring"! The finished product color is too blocky, just doesn't look normal and isn't very pretty. Overall, disappointing. Deleted the app and won't get it again.

I really do enjoy this app. Although let's get to the glitches. The strip of ads, bottom of the page, causes the app to pause the ad flashes to another ad... This cause the app to pause, stop, delays. Most of the pictures are great I think that if you could add more pictures of people of color would be nice. I am starting to see other paint by number apps interesting haven't really tried them yet, but the lack of minorities. Is a little challenging other than that the app is great.

Way too many ads, it's ridiculous you can't even color for 5 mins without a ad throwing you off. If you answer a text or take a break, more long ads to get back in, it's crazy ads!!! The worse I've ever seen, the only reason I haven't uninstalled is because I like the pictures. The ad circle follows your fingers so you'll accidentally hit it, very annoying. It's also very slow at times

Great time waster. Habit forming. Hard ones are really hard but if you find a technique that works they go quicker and aren't as frustrating. Have done over 200 pics since getting the app. I would like to have some way to keep count of how many in each category I've done. Also when the game wants to go to an ad it will freeze up and close sometimes and I lose my progress. Overall, good app.

This game has a good engine. It is very responsive and accurate. The pictures are interesting and fresh. However, every level has a bazillion tiny, unique color areas scattered everywhere. It may take you hours to finish a level. I dropped two stars because it is lacking long-tap capability to auto select a color. Most annoying of all is the ad hint icon that pops up suddenly, causing you to click it, and forcing you to watch a full length ad. That is bogus.

I've mentioned this before and seems by the reviews there are a lot of people that would agree.... Please add the long hold option so we can long hold on the pictures to change colors.... I understand you can scroll to change colors but it there is a tiny spot I may miss later and it's a color way down the line (500, 600, etc) we don't have have to scroll through all of the colors! I would definitely edit my review and add stars if this could be added. Love the variety of pics and hard ones!

This game is fun and less frustrating than many of the other coloring games. Fewer colors: for example four shades of green instead of 15. Also can get two helps per ad and stock up on the helps. Update:. Since fun 1st pic, I've had pics with 200 colors. I've found no pic that couldn't have been done with fewer colors and fewer tiny, tiny spaces. Update 2: if I bring up old pic there is no way to exit.

I had a problem opening the app so I uninstalled it, and lost 3700 pics. Now I've had no daily pic since 1-31. Way too many ads and the color doesn't progress as it did. Why would you change that? I loved the special pics, they looked like oil paintings, but now they just look washed out. I really enjoyed this app, but not any more . It says in the description of the game that color progresses and 2 keystrokes are not needed. Not true anymore.

Addicting, mindless ongoing fun. You can't go wrong. No in-app purchases. There are many colouring apps, but I like this one because the lines are not heavy, & dark. I enjoy watching large areas fill with colour, but get bored filling in small dots. The shading can be difficult to see in the small areas, as well. Great way to pass time; keep looking for a mute button so I don't have to listen to the "blop" with each shading. It gets annoying. Plus, tired of orange animals, esp cats.

The app has some good pictures, but it's not very user friendly. Over 800 different colors in one picture is excessive when there isn't an easy way to access the colors. The numbers are spread out all throughout the picture so your only options are to go in numerical order one color at a time, searching for each tiny sliver that matches. Or, you spend forever scrolling through colors.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, I keep getting diverted to ads while trying to color a picture. I'm not accidentally touching an ad banner. It's just happening. Sometimes over and over and over again in the same picture, within seconds of it having happened before. And when I did what they're telling people to do after they get a bad review, I got zero response! The daily pictures have vanished too, nothing after 1/31. Beautiful pictures but I'm just tired of it.

I play this game daily because I have it through Mistapp. Once I reach my quota of points for that app I'd like to keep it but will delete if you don't start listening to your reviews. All recent ones complain about not being able to switch colors by holding down on the number we want. I like that you go as high as 500+ sometimes but not when I have to go back and forth from the tens or 20s to the 300, 400, or 500s. Please change asap.

I would have given it 5 stars. Vast range of regular scenes to complicated scenes with over 250 different color cells. Should please anybody. There is now an advertiser that just takes over the game and is impossible to get rid of. Expect the normal amount of game ads (acceptable) till this hijacker takes over. Shouldn't have to restart a game every time it pops up.

The game is fun and entertaining but ads show too frecuently & too many times, interrupting your drawing and is not fun at all. There are no buttons to go back or save. Ads take too long or won't stop, so you have to close the app, come back in, look for your work in progress, and its really annoying. Also, sometimes when your drawing is interrupted, it doesn't keep completely your last color or number and it takes you back many, many numbers, specially with hard and detailed drawings.

Update: Last night every time I tried to start a picture, a Facebook add came on and took me to Facebook. I finally gave up. I love the magic ✨ ones! They are fun to guess and I can't stop until I'm done. I wish, though, that you could pick a spot on the picture, touch it and the colors at the bottom would go to that color. You have so many colors it would be easier to move around.

I will probably be uninstalling this color by number. The add(magnifying glass)that pops up is so annoying and causes me stress, therefore I'm not relaxed doing this color by number. It literally pops up every 30-40 seconds and I find myself hurrying up to do the left side because when it shows up, if you're on the left, you'll hit it when u don't want to! It's great to have the hints, but give me a BREAK! Every 30-40 seconds just makes me want to stop and get rid of it! Just too frequent!

This game is relaxing if you play without the ads but $20 for no ads every month is just too much as a repeat expense. The game itself has a lot of pictures, some are better than others. It really wants you to use Facebook for extra pics. No, thank you. I also prefer to work in sections, not necessarily by color. So it can involve a lot of scrolling, and there are no shortcuts to the higher numbers. Going from color 24 to 536 can take a bit.

Was my fav, however now ads are so invasive and come every few minutes making it intolerable to even use the app. The ad pop-up is frustrating, it pops up right in the middle of the picture you're on so there is no way to miss them. The price they're asking for premium is crazy it is a digital coloring app not worth 20 a month when I am doing my best to keep my kids fed it just isn't worth the money. Also, there is zero way to save your progress or signup and sync which is absurd esp if paying.

Love the images but it overheats my phone and kills my battery quickly. Also had an issue where when trying to move to a different part of the image it would just allow me to zoom in and out on the area I was already in. Had to quit the game and reload the image to get it working again. Also if you let your screen time out you will have to watch an ad before you can work again. Most of the time you will have to watch an ad after finishing an image. Didn't see a way to sort by uncolored images.

Edited 1/21/23: this was my favorite among coloring apps, but the price to upgrade without ads is way too expensive. I could tolerate the ads between pictures, but now it's suddenly jumping to websites in the middle of coloring (I'm not clicking an ad by accident). This feels very shady, so I'm uninstalling. Original review: I've tried dozens of different coloring apps & this is in my top 2. Beautiful art, especially the "magic" pictures. Lots of ads, but what doesn't have them now?
