I specifically hit "free trial" and the app immediately charged my credit card! Luckily the Play store refunded my money, but it's frustrating because after that sneaky move I will not pay for the full app on principle. It seemed like it had some nice things to offer, the animal comparisons were cute, and I like the idea of it connecting to my husband via a partner app...but overall, the execution just doesn't seem to be quite there. It's a little buggy at times and just feels incomplete.
This app is enfuriating. I wouldn't be leaving this negative review if their options would just work the way they're supposed to. All of the buttons send me to my share page. I can't login to my account and I can't select "Contact us". I signed up for the free trial but had to put in my payment info to get charged after two weeks for the yearly subscription. But after perusing the app and articles, it seems like everything was written by a child. I want to cancel my subscription.
The first time I wrote a review for this app, it was buggy in several ways - the connection with the HiDaddy app wasn't working, among other things. Now, all those bugs are fixed! (Yay!) But, now there is a major bug that I have been encountering that makes the app hard to use. The app "forgets" that I paid for it about 70% of the time, and hitting "restore purchase" doesn't do anything. I have Google Playpass, and it is supposed to be included with that. I'm still hopeful for this app though!
The app is ok. There isn't much of a difference when you get the paid version so I don't find it worth it. Maybe if it was my first pregnancy I might. The daddy app option is cool but I think it would be cool to see the messages they see. Their content is a lot more fun. My husband chose the perspective of a naughty child. His messages are cute and fun. The mom side is boring. Just educational. Again, this is my second pregnancy, so something more fun would make it better.
waste of time, money, and storage space. you will get un paired from your partner, even though they recieve a stupid amount of notifications in a day; also will send YOU 50 notifications within a 1 minute time frame when you open the app. On top of all that, dont even try to use their articles or videos bc they wont work, let alone trying to contact support to fix everything wrong. havent even used it a month and want a full refund.
The app is quite average. Graphics and interface are very nice. Free features are just so few that I find it funny. To read more than few phrases and to count kicks are already paid features. The information is being told "by your baby", what naturally comes from the app tittle. Anyway it doesn't seem a good thing to me, my baby is in my uterus, not talking strangers' voices from devices. I wonder if people prefer to listen or find it cute, but that's my personal opinion.
Just to use the app they can use your data and personal info. no thank you. Think thats ridiculous
Many, many bugs, things that are not working in UX, f.e. sleeping timer makes all the time mistakes and shows inaccurate time of sleep, the activity grid is not clear and not possible to read from it, no option of inputting fun activities. plus every evening bug appears that covers all the other features on the main screen. terrible
I love that app ,my favorite thing about it- everyday I can learn about my pregnancy ,and theres a option to journal, and u can just use voice to text to write about your pregnancy. I personally Journal as often as I can with the actual notebook, but finding a pen and sitting down and writing all that can be a lot so I don't journal as often as I want to, but this morning I noticed that I could journal on the app, as well as discovered there's a section for your belly bump pictures
I love reading the messages from this app every morning! It gives you messages every day, so you can get an idea of how much your fetus has grown and where it's at within its development. You can also write messages to your little one, and even save bump pictures! It's such an exciting way to celebrate the life I'm creating, especially being a first time mom! The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5, is because there are some features you can't access without paying for it.
the app in general is okay. the only thing that I don't like about it is when I receive a HI Daddy message and whether I click on it on my received notifications or go into the app to see the message , it literally disappears. I don't ever know what he sends me and it's pretty tideous. It would be nice if I could see right away what my partner sends me through the app, without having to ask him , "what did you send me?". That's really the only thing that needs fixing.
The information is help full however, they are some gliches, especially when it comes to sending a note to Daddy. Most of the time, I can't access to respond to his message, and when I do send one or try, 5 won't allow me toolike it's stuck on the page. I would give it at least 4 stars, there wasn't so many problems ..
Use a different app. Had the same issues as many others. Love the idea but implementation is lacking. No way to see previous messages with hiDaddy app, the layout is a bit confusing (to send a message click on the emoji icon NOT the hiDaddy logo). I dunno, it's a pass for me. Oh and I would have liked the option to edit the lists (hospital bag etc) included in the app. Bummer because I love the idea!
Got this app because it's on Google play pass. I really only use the main "what's happening today" feature. I'm making this review in hopes that the developers fix the bug where every week or two, my app seems to forget that I have play pass & it locks down the "see more" and prompts me to pay for the app even though I already have the paid version through Play Pass. I fix it by deleting and resetting the app. Obviously that makes all the other data I enter disappear. Kind of a bummer.
The app was working great pre update. Now, the weeks + days pregnant are gone from the main screen, where it tells you how many days pregnant. The 3D baby was a great addition to the app, was really looking forward to checking it every week to see how it changed, but after the update, the baby stopped changing and the pluses you could click on, don't bring any information up anymore.
this is a really cool and interactive app. the features are nice and I like that it gives me a lot of info about where I am and how baby is doing. My only complaint and the reason i am dropping a star is that there doesn't seem to be an option for multiples, as I'm expecting twins and I feel that it would be cool to add my other baby, but its still informative.
I like the idea, however, there's a bunch of spelling mistakes throughout the app, and a lot of the info contradicts info I get from my (3) other pregnancy apps. It makes me question how reliable the info really is. I really only use this app for the journal, but one I get a physical one I plan on just deleting it altogether.
The premium isn't worth the money. It unlocks a handful of recipes, meditations, podcasts, and exercises that get rotated. You don't get new ones daily. The info about foods you can and can't eat lists off a lot of regular vegetables that we can obviously eat. This felt like a scam to me.
I'm extremely angry with this app. I'm supposed to have the full version with no ads or in-app purchases with the subscription I have. However, the app always asks me if I want a free trial and doesn't let me do the pro things I should be able to do. Save your money and time for an app that works. Waste of time and hard earned money for me. Used to work and now it doesn't.
I love this app but after purchasing the paid subscription, things stopped working. one of my favorite features of the app was being able to click the + sign in the 3D view and read about the details that would pop up. That no longer happens. This app also keep showing me the information for the baby I was having before this one, this current pregnancy is my rainbow baby. If I ask the app to send notifications, it sends one's for the baby I lost & it's absolutely heartbreaking.
