HKTVmall – online shopping

HKTVmall has completely transformed my shopping routine! The selection is vast, and I love the convenience of ordering everything online. Deliveries are prompt, and the customer service is excellent. Plus, the app is easy to navigate. Highly recommend for anyone in Hong Kong looking for a hassle-free shopping experience!

The shopping service is quite good and products get delivered on time. Additionally, the selection is pretty vast, and even though the app can be quite slow, customer service on the app is fast and excellent!

Why is the app becoming less and less user friendly? Now I can’t even see the total amount of my order, it is very inconvenient.

Horrible UI with ads that you can only click away after waiting for 5 seconds. This app feels like it was designed in the worst possible way against what the user needs.

I like the app which is in general quite helpful, but recently the app has been slow and sometimes unresponsive due to too many pop-up ads and live streaming commercials. That's definitely a damper. I also think that you can expand your product range. Hope you guys can make further improvement esp in face of competitions from Mainland China's e-commerce platforms which are flooding into HK.

(2025-12-07) For 4.8.1.4, frequently crashed! Not sure due to app bugs or the ads, but at least it is poor UX! Much worse than before! (2025-11-28) For version 4.8.0, likely it has bug which has unknown network traffics in background continuously and finally eat up all my mobile data ! According to the data usage records, it consumed over 30GB in background within 7 hours ! Please fix it!

App is slow and you get interrupted with too many ads too many times for things I don't care about, which eat away time. They should focus on making it as easy as possible to order and reorder. Service when something goes wrong is almost non existing, the chat is busy most of the time and you can't reach anyone, even if your order is late.

Used to be great, no adds make it unuseable. Pop up ad on app start. No close button. No timer. No way to get rid of it. All App controls are hidden and the ad doesn't go away. after restarting the App, restarting my phone, clearing the cache, and more for about 5 minutes, then finally just clicked the ad button. Went straight to purchase the item in the store. And everything worked again. I cancelled the purchase. This is horrible and scammy app behavior. Didn't expect it from HKTVMALL.

slow to update cart. sometimes whole app freezes, usually at payment stage. should make all level vip promotions every day. wet market needs more choices and better availability. keep prices overall lower to compete with physical store and other online platforms.

Aggressive marketing strategy, ads pop up one after another after opening the app. Also, unwanted videos play automatically.

The shopping service is fine and products get delivered on time. However I have some complains, critiques on the app, please remove the pop up ads or full page deals that appear everytime I open the app, it's incredibly frustrating to wait 5 seconds everytime before I can use the app. The random deal pop ups are intrusive as well. These friction points are only going to push people away from the app. please provide an option to opt out of these.

Doesn't let you use the app if notifications are not enabled. Also ads everywhere. Horrible user experience

Terrible app, excessive and annoying ads, lots of bugs, poor UI and wants to invade your privacy in every way possible. This app is a great example of how to kill your business. Makes you hate the app and the platform.

keep crashing. lots of bugs. can't even browse after forever loading and ads. only ads survive in your app. after years of supporting, all we've got is this even poor UIUX. ads. ads. ads. data consuming live stream and unskippable ads. terrible searching function. unwanted mainland items. no filters. your company never listen. hktvmall you are pushing hk customers away. if this is what you want. congratulations.

worst app experience ever, UI is so complicated and there is too much information in one screen. The interface also doesn't feel very smooth and the experience is not very welcoming, makes me want to quit the app every time.

They asked me to update but my phone is not compatible for their version. So, I cant use the app anymore except on the computer

Theres an ad when you launch the app, unskippable 5 seconds. Once you're loaded into the home page, HKTVmall's ad is loaded and is also unskippable for 5 seconds. Also if you switch apps and come back, you get another ad. Amazing! Edit: It didn't have so many advertisements and unskippable ads before and now it does. Are you doing this to enhance our user experience?

The app is fine and the service convenience and speed is also OK. The 1 star rating is because they ship their product with an unbearable amount of plastic wrap (way too much. Home delivery or at store pickup is the same. It's not acceptable in a world like today with the knowledge that we have about sustainability for a company to have this kind of practice. Unless they change their practice I can't recommend enough to shop elsewhere. It's OK to have some level of plastic wrap but not like this

It's convenient when it works. But they don't have any customer service, it's extremely difficult to seek help if something goes wrong with your order. the user experience of app is terrible, you can't find anything when you need it. Their delivery delays (the worst was one day) or the delivery guy call you 5+ times before the actual delivery, as if I'm working their delivery.... They also do unnecessary packaging, it wastes too much plastic at each order.
