HMA VPN Proxy & WiFi Security

Earlier version worked fine on my Android tablet running v7. All of the sudden it stopped working. I can sideload an earlier HMA version but that isn't working, either. Their help page keeps identifying me as a robot so I can't send a message for help and they don't even publish an email address, so I'm stuck. Basically, support seems to be an issue.

They are so messed up! It said I would be getting a 7 day free trial when I made my subscription, but was billed immediately without trial! They got three stars because it works and offers a wide variety of VPN locations, but they're shifty and charge you without giving you the free trial they promise. Google Play refunded me, and I might have been a long-time subscriber had they kept their word! Just say you don't give a trial instead of scamming me! Nice VPN, just not an honest app.

I've been using HMA for several years. Got a new phone recently and app won't stay logged in. Tried emailing them multiple times. No response. What's going on all of a sudden? Edit: After months of trying to process a refund for the multi-year subscription i purchased, they're now asking for sensitive banking information to process my refund. I paid with a credit card. Everything about this is turning out to be a scam.

DON'T. I got into an awful doom loop after trying a free trial, which never ended up working. The login screen shows me as logged in (username, etc), but the exact same page shows that I "don't have an active subscription." When I try logging out/in, it tells me that I don't have an account. Because I can't log in, I can't cancel the free trial that isn't working anyway. When I click on the link for tech support, I have to log in, which again doesn't work. Emails bounce back. Just don't.

HMA! VPN had a great 30-day trial. Tried it and loved it. Super easy to use. Very quick. Prices after the trial were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants to secure their privacy and data while using WiFi anywhere, or just ensure that they are very private for any reason. No complaints at all about HMA! No problems with software on Android or Windows 10. No connection problems whatsoever. Love the ability to easily change servers!

I had high expectations from HMA VPN, but unfortunately it turned out to be a poor experience. The connection drops frequently, speeds are inconsistent, and many servers either don’t work properly or fail to connect at all. Streaming services rarely work as advertised, and when they do, buffering is a constant issue.

I am not satisfied. First taking too much time to connect with server. If connected, then disconnected after some time. Waste of money and time. Very disappointed. No one buy this. This problem is coming now about a month ago

i am using this vpn 4-5 years day by day its become worst, everytime i going to connect first it say (no internet connection), then i re-open app then it show (troubleshooting), then i force stop the app and re-open then it connect. and this vpn stop working in my other phone for some mysterious reason but it restart working 2-3 day then again not work. this is a premium vpn not free, it should be not like that everytime, i am frustrated and going to shift to another vpn.

Today is 01/14/26 vpn is connecting on mobile android even though I am connected by my home (trusted) network. When I attempt to submit ticket I get "Hmm... we think you might be a robot. Please refresh the page and try again. Please ensure your VPN is turned off before submitting a request to our support team." I keep turning vpn off manually. Cannot get a response. App says needs to restart device to update HMA. I have restarted several times. I have a multiple year subscription.

Long time paid user. Without notice the servers that I depended upon have disappeared. Conveniently about 10 days after my automatic renewal. I filled out their "contact is" on their website, but the submit button would not work. Very limited number of servers now.

Great so far! Definitely worth 5 stars. I hope it remains this good or gets better in the future. Alright, gotta reduce the star now because... it's now say "Can't connect, Troubleshooting...blah blah blah"

Horrible on Pixel 8 Pro edit; also as bad on Pixel 9 Pro. Speeds without HMA are 50 to 200mbps, with HMA on it can be unusable. Today I'm stuck with 1mbps and it doesn't matter what location I choose. Many sites now flag this VPN so I have to turn it off. I won't be renewing my subscription this time. Edit; Jan 26. Basically unusable. It doesn't matter what location I choose, within minutes it is throttled down to old dial up 56k speeds. I am going to find a new VPN app asap

This vpn used to be one of my favorite, the special thing that they had almost every country in the world and that what made it one of the best, but now they removed alot of countries that i usually connect to💔.

suddenly app won't work ...app shown your license is not working on this device..I buy yearly subscription but in after 3 months licensed error occur ...also their customer support don't work

I've been running HMA for 4 years now on my PC and phone. I absolutely love it. If I were to make 1 suggestion for improvement, I would like to see more US P2P servers.

Probably won't be renewing. It wants me to submit my driver's licence, passport, and utility bills in order to renew. Also, despite being behind the VPN, it keeps showing me ads located in my original location instead of the VPN location. It also does not change IP adresses every hour, as I used to have it set up. No option to renew IP addresses at regular intervals. HMA has changed - it's not what it used to be. No protection where needed, too much invasion of privacy to subscribe.

The latest update has removed U.S. state names, which makes it too difficult to select cities to connect through. It also removed the instant change IP button from the main GUI - and the feature to renew your IP at an interval that you choose. Essentially, all of the reasons I bought the app have been eliminated. It was a good app for the last 10 years, but don't plan to renew the subscription when it expires in January due to the reduced functionality.

I buy a premium subscription I just updated to latest version & it's saying "oh no,something went wrong " (error 2.2) this license won't work on this device but I aleardy used 2 months this license which is valid for 1 year (ends in 26) their contact form don't has a submit button.I also restart after update.but nothing works. what the hell is it?refund me or make it fix as solved

latest version has removed many countries I'm really gonna disliking this vpn now. old version having every country but when you install old version they ask for the latest version🚫
