Hoichoi has good contents but the application is very bad.If I watch a movie I can not watch it again. When trying to watch for the second time, it shows continue, and if press continue it goes to the end. So, ultimately you can watch the movies only once. The application has serious problem in series. After one episode is finished on and often it jumps to the middle of the next episode. The real problem is when it jumps to the end of next episode, so that entire episode is omitted.
No customer service if any problems arise. I have paid for the whole year eagerly, looking forward to watching exceptional movies and entertainment on my phone and tv. Unable to stream, connect another device like my smart tv with the app. The lack of self-help is just appalling. Just with two devices, I'm getting these problems. Think with 5 devices! Until customer service and my issues are solved, this app gets a 1* It's funny how quickly the money got taken out of my account when subscribing!
Pathetic Experience with Hoichoi. I jave cancelled the sunscription in January 2026, which was well in advance to my renewal period, and to my surprise I found that I have been charged again during the renewal period. Upon contacting the support, they told the sunscription was not cancelled! The app was pathetic, you won't find your payment method there! I never recommend this app!
This is honestly the worst streaming app I have ever used, mainly because there is absolutely no customer support. I received an annual subscription gift card, but it is not working at all. I have tried every possible way to reach support, but no one is responding. The chat support link provided in the app is invalid, and sending emails has been completely useless—no response whatsoever.
The worst app ever.....I have paid Rs.1299/- for one year subscription but they have stopped it within 2 months and they claimed that they have refunded Rs.1299/- in my google play store account, however no amount is credited Now the question is why they have decided to refund it with no prior intimation and if they did so why not to my bank account. Never try to purchase a one year subscription of Rs 999 of hoichoi. It's not only a fraudulent it's also disgusting especially the customer support of Hoichoi. I have paid through UPI option. Now during the payment automatically google play transaction service will open and after two days a notification of refund has been received at google play. Three months have passed I am yet to see that refund in my bank statement and now hoichoi app is showing me to renew the subscription.
App frequently hangs... None of the content is opening. Even logout is also hanging. Very frequent problem. This time even logout is not working. Don't know why such apps are released without testing. Only solution is probably uninstall and reinstall the app - big effort needed frequently. And standard email response is "We’re experiencing a higher volume of queries right now, so our response time may be slightly delayed." Giving 1 star above nearest competitor.
Please work on the TV app as there are so many bugs and issues. It keeps crashing in between, the home page keeps on loading sometimes. If you pause the video, after resuming also the pause/resume button and the video progress bar doesn't disappear, the video keeps playing in background with low brightness, we need to go back to home page and then again need to start the episode then only it works fine again. This is really disappointing considering the price we're paying for the subscription.
I just paid for the annual subscription. It renewed automatically. They seem to be happy to charge my credit card. But when I try to view any programming, it asks me to subscribe (again?). And suggests I pay more. If this is not intentional, the app is just really poorly designed.
I recharge my JioFiber plan every month, and Hoichoi works perfectly on my TV as part of the bundled subscription. However, when I try to access the same service on my mobile phone, I am repeatedly asked to subscribe again. This is extremely frustrating, as I am already paying for this service. I have raised this issue multiple times via email, yet the problem remains unresolved. I request clear clarification on why the bundled subscription does not apply across devices, or a proper resolution

I brought a subscription for a year and then i had to move to Germany but I'm not even able to log in here and the helpline is worst as no one replies on their helpline or on their Instagram page.
very poor technical support. I have 15 months subscription for live streaming on two device. Whenever, I try to log in to TV, I face problem.
Extremely disappointing OTP login regularly fails, leaving the customer locked out after repeated tries. Support is slow, inconsistent, and even advised login methods that is not allowed in the app-no real fix offered. Beyond access issues, navigation is clunky and playback unreliable. The platform seems to invest more in social-media ads than in stability and customer care. Until login, app performance, and support accountability improve, I can’t recommend subscribing.
they are thieves! they said they cancelled my auto renrwal and chared my card again! this is fraud! there is no way to cancel it through the app, you have to email them. and even if they say they cancelled, that would be a lie!! you will keep paying for it for the rest of your life!!!!
My annual subscription plan is of amount ₹. 999 done in the month of June 2025, now only one user that is only my this mobile device is logged in yet it is showing to subscribe to watch but why if my subscription plan is already on? this app is just so useless interface, no proper information provided in accounts option, only delete account option is there, no subscription details, nothing, I've to go and check from gpay Autopay option... customer service support option is more worst..
This app isn't working for over a week..there is no other way except whatsapp to communicate with them..and in WhatsApp they are asking about my phone model,version, OS details..which app does that?? an after providing all of that the issue still not resolved..worst streaming platform I have ever encountered
ny credit card got charged for renewal, but the app is not showing. I logged the case on their WhatsApp app channel yesterday, still not resolved. and I didn't get any update - no way to talk to anyone. very disappointed with the customer service.
The app is working fine. However the hoichoi support is very bad. In the last 12 days I am discussing with the support team, but the issue is still not fixed. I don't know how long the hoichoi support team will take to fix the issue.
the app needs major bug fixes. feels like amature app. sound goes off inbetween watching, remains off for entire episode of the series. the next episode link takes to the same or previous episode. app crashes frequently. after a bad experience in 2018, I had stopped subscribing. came back this October just to see it remains the same trash.
