Holyscapes - Bible Word Game

Really enjoyed the concept and was going to have my kids download it, but there are too many ads. I get the need for ads, but you get your daily reward- ad. Answer a question - ad. Click on the level - ad. Close the ad - new ad. You play for like 30 seconds and there's 5 minutes of ads. It's not worth it to me. I've tried a couple of times, but I don't want to spend all my free time watching ads. I'll try a game in which I can actually spend my time playing the game.

Well, I like this game just fine. It's just as good as any of the other similar word games out there. I also enjoy the Bible content questions. I only wish a few things were different: (1) I wish more of the words in the puzzles were Bible-y. Level 459 is a good example of many Bible-y words in a puzzle. And, (2) I wish when I turn off all sound on the game that this would cause the ads to play without sound. Overall, a nice game though. Thank you.

It a great game. I like how it had scripture at the end of each goal. But it is a little too long of a goal, perhaps make it 5 instead of 8, and it's only for one piece of scripture. It would be funner if you had a better way of earning more coins. I really like crossword games, and it really gets hard as you get farther. At some point in the game, it slows down, and i have to leave the game and get back in. Sometimes, i lose my progress, very frustrating. overall. It's a great game. I love it🤗

This game is a lot like "Wordscapes", but with an added "holy" element. I love that the encouragements for achievements in "Holyscapes" are biblical, and that each section is themed with a certain scripture. I'm a fan of anything that interjects more of God's word into my life! One of the downsides is that there are a lot of basic words not accepted, which can be frustrating... To play without ads, turn off your wifi and mobile data on your phone.

Installed it because it's supposed to have fewer ads. It takes one to two minutes to do the puzzle, and then you have to endure 3 to 4 minutes of ads sometimes. What's really annoying is how it will automatically download games that are being advertised to your phone. I've had so many download, and I did not click on anything other than to close the ad. Just got another download of a game that I did not touch anything on the screen to download it. I can't take it anymore removing the app!

None of these word games are anyway fun or relaxing. You are forced to buy out the ads and that only lasts for a part time. Then you have to pay more. The ads are so many it could drive you up a wall. Most of them start with the same words. Can't stand the repetitive are, ate, eat, This my last time playing. Good luck.

it's very inspirational and educational for kids my age and under. and a lot of people say that it's not very good and whatnot but it's so good sometimes I get the questions wrong but I can just Read my Bible and get it right next time.

Only played 10m and checked they are only asking $3 to remove ads forever. Reasonable price in my estimation as I won't pay $5 @ 30 days and higher. Refreshing to respond with a verse query every level 🙌 but I've only done 2 levels so I've not been mistaken yet 😅. My kindest regards to the folks who allow me to enjoy your game, thank you.

Started well enough but after a short while the ads began and in larger amounts than most games. Then, I began to get quite a bit of spam in my spam filter which had not been showing up before. Uninstalled.

Has some adds when you need word clue but others wise, it's very fun.

So far it's a fun game and it's not to difficult and it fits my liking. the bible verses are correct and I would highly recommend!🙂🙂

Revising my initial 5 star review. A lot of grammatical errors and misused words in verses and quiz questions. It feels like whoever wrote the app didn't fully comprehend English or just didn't care. How difficult is it to copy a Bible verse? The correct iteration is written in black and white. Not to mention the ads after every single round. Just play Wordscapes and download a Bible app separately.

It's a good game. I am just disappointed that I downloaded it because I assumed the words we would be locating would be more Bible based but they are just the same words the other games use. Some of the verses given have typos. But I like getting the verses and the Bible quiz at random is nice. The graphics are nice to.

Great game but too many ads playing after each round and no way of closing them without going to the Playstore. Understand the need for ads but this is the MOST number of ads I've ever seen on any free app. I'll give it another day but if this continues, will uninstall. Not worth the hassle.

I like the game yet there are more ads then scripture questions. Also I don't care for the new feature when you already put in an extra word. It's hard sometimes to remember that you tried a word already without a banner to remind me. I'm able sometimes to make 25 words that go in the extra words, I wish the puzzle words weren't so repetitive. I.e. beer,bar, son,sin, well you get the idea.

this is a very fun casual word game as we'll as a memory game given i have long,short term memory loss it helps me to remember words that from time to time I forget thanks you guys great app

Fun game, but heavy in ads. Watching two 30 second ads would be enough, at the end of a set game. One other observation, Biblical words aren't part of puzzles but put in the extra word box on left. It would be great if ordinary words were put in said box instead.

I loved this game until I got a new phone and all of my progress in the game including my reward coins disappeared. My new phone is not showing up in the list of devices and I can't delete my old one. This issue is only happening with this game. All my other apps are working fine. Please restore my progress and coins and I will gladly give a five star review. Thanks!

I have played this to level 404 or 2Kings. It's ok but not very exciting. Same words come up and trying to get all the butterflies is a hassle. Sticking to the Word itself. Now after 550 levels and finally getting all the butterflies, I have to say there are WAY too many ads. Some are not appropriate for a Christian app. Shame. And now I will uninstall because did I mention there are too many stupid ads?
