Peace Points

Discovering moments of tranquility within a fitness app may seem counterintuitive, but the structured workout routines offer a sense of control and predictability, fostering inner peace. Clear goals and guided exercises minimize decision fatigue, allowing the user to focus solely on the present movement.

Guided Meditations

Many users appreciate the inclusion of guided meditation sessions, which complement physical workouts by promoting mindfulness and stress reduction.

Calm Features

The app's interface, while fitness-oriented, aims for calm through clear visual cues and minimal distractions. Progress tracking is presented in a straightforward manner, avoiding overwhelming displays of data. This simplicity encourages consistent engagement without inducing anxiety about performance.

  • Clean and intuitive design
  • Easy-to-navigate workout library
  • Soothing color palettes (user-selectable themes)

Tranquil Aspects

Form guidance, particularly in the video tutorials, emphasizes mindful movement and body awareness. This fosters a deeper connection with one's physical self, leading to increased tranquility and reduced risk of injury. The absence of overly aggressive motivational tactics contributes to a more relaxed training environment.

Gentle encouragement

Emphasis on proper form

Potentially not intense enough for advanced users

Quiet Paths

Personalization options allow users to tailor their fitness journey to their individual needs and preferences, creating a quiet path towards self-improvement. The ability to adjust workout intensity and frequency ensures that the app adapts to the user's current state, preventing burnout and promoting sustainable progress.

  1. Customizable workout plans
  2. Adjustable difficulty levels
  3. Options to exclude specific exercises

Serene Moments

Completion of a workout or achieving a fitness goal can bring a sense of accomplishment and serenity. The app's subtle reward system, avoiding overly celebratory displays, contributes to a sense of quiet satisfaction. Users report feeling more grounded and present after engaging with the app, enhancing their overall well-being.

Overall Serenity Score

7/10 - While primarily a fitness app, the inclusion of mindfulness elements and a focus on user well-being contribute to a surprisingly serene experience.

Final Verdict

The app balances fitness guidance with opportunities for mindful movement and stress reduction. While intense workouts are available, the emphasis on personalization and form guidance promotes a tranquil approach to achieving fitness goals.

I recommended this app to everyone struggling with weight loss until things continuously changed. I lost my motivation with this app when I could no longer make my own schedule and workout mix. I started everyday with stretching and now according to the app, I can only stretch two days out of the week. It doesn't feel right just jumping into a workout without a stretch. Also, if I miss a day of working out its like I immediately fall backwards. This app only allows 5 days.

I've been using this app for a few years, but for the past month the app crashes constantly. I can't get through a 30 second exercise without it shutting down. This happens on both my tablet and my phone. I've cleared my cache, rebooted, etc. This morning I simply gave up because I couldn't even get through the warm up.

Yes it is misleading. It's advertised as a free app but it's not. What originally drew me in was a facebook ad that showed you can choose certain body parts to work out, and it doesn't have that feature which is why I took a star away. However, if you are willing to pay and are motivated to lose weight like I am, then this is great. There's a lot of variety in the workouts. Only advice is to add instructions for the workouts because I didn't know some of them and had to toggle between youtube.
