This app hasn't work for me in over 2 months. I get the error message "SOMETHING WENT WRONG ". I have cleared cache, uninstall and reinstalled the app. I even reached out to Customer Service and they were no help. It only works in the browser. If you want your customers to use the app fix the bugs!!!!
Pretty useless app. Keep getting same errors over and over that says the page looking for no longer exists. This is right after logging in. Takes at least 2 times to get plans purchased to show under your account. Cannot make changes, like phone number. Have been trying to update my payment method for a few weeks now. More errors on top of errors. It's neverending! I think they should scrap this so called app, and start from scratch!
Could be used for tracking manuals and appliances, but that's not the service I'm paying HomeServe for, and there are better apps for that. I expected to be able to use this app for managing my account and claims, but it seems even less useful than the website. The "my account" section in the app is just a wrapper around a browser, so if the site is down (as it seems to be now, since I keep getting a "general error" page when I log in), you can't access this section from the app.
Just installed and added my first couple of items and I love it so far. I love the idea as I'm a very organized person and am excited to get rid of a lot of paperwork! The only thing I don't like is that I couldn't sign in with my current homeserve account. Had to create a new account but regardless, I love it so far! I have a Google Pixel 3 and have not had issues with the app like others have stated in other reviews.
It keeps all your subscriptions in one place with all the necessary info. My only issue is with the call center. I am an American who know one language fluently. Dealing with the call center was rough. I get it. The stuff homeserve offers, they need to go cheap with the prices they have.
I just downloaded the app and already cannot use it. It will not take my password. So I clicked on 'Forgot Password' and changed to a new password. I JUST NOW changed it! And it says its a wrong password or ID. No it's not. I did it correctly. I give up. Worthless app so far.
This app used to be simple & easy-to-use, but now they have made it where you can't just be in your list of room, you can't put the rooms in the order you want, & when your in a room you still have to click more to see everything you have put in it. You used to be able to add items to a room simply by being in the room, but now all new items goes in the everything else room so you have to go back edit it into the room you want. It does find most books for the you put in.
This is the worst app ever. I'm a customer with an issue but all this does is keep asking me to register and when I try to log in it says invalid password and wants me to reset it but when I reset it to the one I just changed it to it says I can't use that password because I've used it before. This app is only for people to buy buy buy but once you've bought you're never getting in. Lol just garbage. Makes me wonder how bad the service is if they can't get an app right
Waste of time. This app was recommended by This Old House, I thought it would be an app for home Maintenance. I set up the account and at first it said I had to register. I just did! The Confirmation email took me to a page that told me I didn't have an app, and they listed apps that do not have anything to do with the app I was looking for. It then told me I had to sign in, and it said my email or password were incorrect. It looks like a data suck! They are taking all your information, Some of the apps listed are apps you can get without this app. AOL? Really? No Home maintenance apps found here. Uninstall- stay away from this one!
Downloaded, signed up, can't log in, just says "can't log in" , can't unlock account, can't create account because it's already created.... Can't log in on to test the app... Waste of time. Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared the cache, clear the data still same thing.... Either the app works or it doesn't in this case it doesn't.
Compulsory registration before you can use the app. Incredibly one-sided privacy policy. App comes w/ notifications on. Get it together! Don't auto-opt users into notifications. Don't require registration until we try your app. And don't implement awful privacy policies. Uninstalled.
Downloaded the most recent app and after entering my last name and zip code and hitting "enter", it flips back to the same screen, asking for the same information. No wonder the majority of ratings for this app are 1 star. This was after receiving an email in which I confirmed my identity.
just started using it. I really enjoy the concept of all my manuals being kept on this app. and it also sends me links to replacement parts. everytime i add a new appliance i throw the paper one away. ready noticed less clutter.
No help button. Gets stuck on log in screen. No info or policy to view. I tried calling, customer service has no idea how to help. They gave me a phone number for website help, which went right back to them, and they again had no idea how to help. Bad zero stars
The app has cool functions but I deleted it because of the wealth of information that I have to give up. Developer knows each appliance in house, rooms in your home, and other personal info, which in turn is sold. I would pay for the app if they could garantee privacy.
The first run of app was good. Able to create account and start adding items. Next day app wouldn't load. Retried multiple times without success. Uninstalled and re-installed. App still not loading. Device used is a Galaxy S7.
Extremely resourceful for a DIY homeowner. Had the app about a year. I absolutely recommend this app for all home owners to keep all your residential needs and references a click away. No more going back home to find the correct size filter for my heating unit or other related items from my residence. Thank you HomeServe.
The app is wonky. I signed up through the app and now the utility company is claiming they don't see my plans connected to my account. They are trying to make me wait another 30 days to activate my plan. Ridiculous!
What terrible integration between app and people's actual account. This is a complete waste of time and effort. The homeserve service is fine but skip the app and just call them when you need service or information.
I've been locked out of my account for a few days now and have been trying to get an admin to reset my password for 4 days now and don't get responses from the support system. I love the idea of this app but support seems lacking.
