Booked through the app and when I got to the hotel they couldn't find my reservation. After 30 minutes of calling and trying to work through their online chat I was finally able to reach a person. They called the hotel and found my reservation under a name I'd never heard of. They semi-got it fixed, where they ended up charging me twice and saying one would be refunded in a few days... Not only frustrating, but makes me worry about my data on their platform

App used to be excellent, but has gotten worse since a merger with Expedia. It currently is unusable, and requires you to prove you are not a bot that is in an endless loop that will not allow you to book. I've switched to a different app. I feel they care more about themselves, than their customers. Requiring a confusing puzzle to book a hotel is unacceptable. There are much better choices. I am not a bot!!!

App no longer works! If I could rate this app ZERO stars I would. So thank you all so much for screwing up my vacation because I now cannot even access the app at all. It just makes me log in and then takes you to a page that announces one password for this plus VRBO and Expedia (which I frankly do not want) and then when you click Continue, it does nothing. Absolutely USELESS. I will be uninstalling unless this is fixed within 7 days. 😡

This app sucks it keeps asking me for a login to verify my account and I've already had the itinerary and booking and everything and it won't let me cancel an itinerary there's just no way to cancel it anywhere in the app . It just keeps routing around in circles and you can't get anywhere . It'll let your book trips fine . Just not cancel them.

You have to pay extra to have the option to make changes to your reservation. EVEN if you are trying to upgrade and pay more. I understand if its for people trying to cancel or making changes last minute. Calling a month in advance I need to make my room bigger just paying more, there is plenty of time (shows on actual hotel website the upgraded room is available for the date I have). NOPE, had to pay the extra $ at the time of checkout to be eligible for changes. their call center is in India.

I don't care for the recent updates to the app's UI. It used to be simple and intuitive to use, but no longer. Searching locations has become a real pain in the @$$... I used to be able to just enter the name of a small town and search the vicinity. Now, instead of searching according to the location, I get landmark suggestions that don't correspond.

In the past, the app was so convenient and easy to use. Since the update, I have not been able to get in, even after requesting password resets, (which I didn't need to do before the update), although I can look up bookings one at a time by using the confirmation number. Basically the app is now useless to me, and that is very frustrating since I'll be traveling soon, and staying in several different hotels. In this case, there was change, but that change was devoid of any progress. Huge fail.

Lowered to one star because I now can't even get past the code they email to you every time to log in. An app is supposed to be easier to use than the website, not harder. This app became worse over time. It used to work reliably but now locks up constantly. By far the worst "innovation" was the chatbot, which usually gets stuck in an endless loop. It was much easier to cancel or change a reservation before they tried to insert AI into the process. Now I dread this app, if it works at all.

It's great when it works. On my device it constantly generates "something went wrong on our end" errors, won't let me sign in, claims I'm offline, etc, etc. Nothing I've found to fix it has worked. (Clearing the cache, clearing the data, reinstalling) Thank goodness you can still use the website on Mobile. Otherwise, I don't think you could be confident that you can get your reservation information when you need it.

Unable to type in boxes, including log in after update. I have been using the app for years issue free. Today I am a week away from a trip with multiple hotel bookings and I am suddenly unable to log into the app as I cannot type more than one letter in the user name box. Please fix! Update: I am now unable to review properties. No matter which way I try to access the review links it takes me in a circle back to the home page.

I have no idea what happened. I've used the app for years with no issue. Updated the app, then tried to book a room. All prices shown in Korean Won. I'm in USA booking domestic travel. Tried to switch currency, but told I'd have to log out an log back in. When trying to do this, they keyboard randomly would disappear. Decided to uninstall and reinstall, and this time my prices are in Yen. The website works fine, so I'll just book there. I only try the app because typically there are discounts.

Can't access favorites, rewards are not shown, mapping works only about half the time. To add insult to injury, they've reduced rewards from 10% to 2%, and shipped customer service overseas. UPDATE: Wouldn't have thought it could get any worse, but it has. I've made reservations using this app, only to show up at the hotel and be told they have no record of it, because it was made through a "third party." There's no confirmation number for the hotel to reference, only an "itinerary number."

Never a smooth process. Wants double verification always plus login. March 2023: Most of my stamps were recently removed without explanation or notice. There is no contact to get information about rewards. I finally reached someone through assistance with bookings. After explaining the problem, I was told an email was being sent to the Rewards dept and I would be contacted. Well, no contact in a week. The products offered on this site are usually more expensive. I'm closing my account.

I have had nothing but problems with this app. I've booked hotels through this app & when I went to check in, they never had a booking for me. I have to call every time just to make sure the booking process actually went through. When I go to use & apply my rewards, I get charged the full amount for the hotel. Then I have to cancel the booking, wait for my refund which can take up to 15 days mind you, & have to redo the process all over again! The app is just all around trash.

Easy to use for booking, though if you make a mistake with dates or location or duplicate a reservation and try to correct it, the process is impossible. You will get frustrated and move on and they keep your money. I also suggest pay at hotel option because twice in the past few weeks, I payed at booking and the hotel charged my card again. Too much time to correct.

I was trying to book a hotel in Denver, the price showing said tax included, it was almost the same everywhere I checked. I picked the room, taxes were added and asked me if I wanted to pay the parking, the price went up considerably. I decided to compare prices again, booked thru different app, the price was the same shown at the beginning and the parking is complementary in that particular hotel. they are overcharging and taking advantage of not knowing. choose a different app for booking

Since they've changed the rewards program, there is no incentive to use this site at all. You CAN'T use the awards as you should (lots of restrictions and zero availability, etc) so, I went from using it and booking a LOT of hotel nights per year (at least 30 stays a year) to NONE... Its been I think over a year since they've changed this and I still have not been able to use the hundreds of dollars in rewards that I had accumulated. normally, I would have used them within a few weeks.

Horrible! I've lost reservations, been mislead by the app GREATLY about what kind of property I am paying to go to. Better call hotel and follow up before you book. They will also let you "add a night" at a property that doesn't allow it, so you have paid for the hotel room, and I have had hotels make me check out @ 11àm and come back at 3pm. When I travel I travel for work, this is a horrible app for logjstics

I just don't get the 4 & 5 star reviews?? Every room I checked, the price was exactly the same if I walked in, AND, you can cancel right up until the time of check-in if plans change. I just reserved a room for the same $$ and didn't have to lay out a penny. It is useful to see what is in the area, and then walk in, be kind, and you will be better off and without all the hassle of a third party app. Uninstalled.

Zero stars. This new combined version is terrible. I'm constantly getting an error saying my device is not connected to the internet. I get the same error when I AM connected to the internet. How am I supposed to use this app while traveling? Not every stop will have access to WiFi. I get a second error when I attempt to sign in that something went wrong on their end. And, I noticed the rewards are cheap! $2 back for spending $200. The old version was better. I'll be using Priceline.
