10+ Years user. Never an issue. Terrible recent User Interface update. Deal tiles are now twice the size, meaning half the information visible on screen, doubling the users forced interaction and input. Stunned this got signed off, did someone's grandma sign this off? It's like a forced magnified reading view.

Terrible design, when you set up an alert it appears in your inbox, when you then click the "alerted deal" it takes you to another page called alerts. Take me to the deal I clicked, ive set up more than 50 alerts meaning its almost impossible to ever find the deal I wanted in my inbox. Trash design. Let me make it simple for you. Alerted deal *Click* > Actual deal *Happy*

Used to be great, with the new ownership I've found myself using this app less and less. I went from a daily user to every other month. This used to be a place where you could find genuine deals but now it's just packed with so much slop it's not worth slogging through to find actual deals. Not to mention the way the app is run now, I thought it was bad before with the favouritism but they sure did make that worse. Mods will literally remove your deal so a power user can post it. Terrible

Long time user, recent updates must've been done behind closed doors. Bulky deal tiles, intrusive ads taking up most of the screen, discussed tab removed as well as over complicating alerts and notifications means missing genuine deals is more likely than not. Also site is poorly moderated with spammy deals that aren't really deals and inadequation moderation favouring select few over others. Feedback all fell on deaf ears as HUKD chases the money trail at the expense of users.

Had to edit my review, like others say there's constant server errors and show nothing, permanent notifications that can't be marked as read due to server issues. Such a let down recently.

Frequent issues with crashes when viewing deals, been a problem since 2025 with nothing being done about it and with no proper support channel to report such issues, it has remained unresolved.

Alerts are handy but recently adverts have been loading when you scroll past without tapping on them. Some bits could be simplified.

Bias app, if you upvote their deals and post deals on stores which allows them referral revenue, then they will love you. if you downvote their deals you will soon get an email warning you about downvoting will get you banned.

I've been using this app for years and it's a great community. Unfortunately the more recent changes have made it more difficult to navigate and use and the most recent update has completely broken notifications. I no longer get any notifications for any of the keywords I've set up. Really hope this is fixed soon.

Every few months, those that have stated to reject cookies, YOU STILL GET ASKED! Stop breaking the law, customers only have to state ONCE to reject all cookies. It's appalling Hot UK Deals keep periodically KEEP asking!!!! STOP DOING SO!

it was working perfectly fine until a few days ago, now keeps saying can't connect to server (android).

toxic environment , if you vote cold on deals you can get account suspended, the site is mostly spam, you don't have free speech say something the mods don't like they remove comments, and there is fake heat for deals posted by certain users where there deals automatically go hot, they suspended my account for changing my username, stay away from this platform

Unfortunately the keyword alerts aren't working. Though this seems to be more to do with the site itself, rather than the app. They're not working in the app, on desktop (PC - Chrome) and also not working for my other half. I've tried logging out/in (in app and on PC browser), deleting and reinstalling the app on the phone. No dice. Please fix! I love the site/app and have just moved house so need lots of deals and alerts!

used to be a deal app posting deals. now it's all a marketing scam tricking people into buying what they think is discounted items instead of actual deals. HUKD used to be a great app. not so much now

This app is full.of ads now and the clickable ads don't even need to be 'tapped' in order for them to launch to the websites AliExpress and Amazon. Lingering with them on screen launches. Uninstalled

It doesn't let you turn off the pop ups when you vote for the first few times on a new day. So frustrating!

I used to like the app but now it's filled with a few users just posting everything on Amazon that is reduced. one user posted 10 deals in under a minute. just copied and pasted from Amazon - so actual good bargains get submerged. if you complain you just get barred. if you could actually block a specific user and their deals then it would help me but until then I am less likely to use this app.

Oh dear, won't be bothering with it while compact view is gone. Phone screens are massive these days, so 3 and a half deals per scroll just ain't gonna cut it lol! Edit: Thanks for the cut and paste reply. I just don't bother to click through any deals now (always a chore when I have adblockers anyway). I just manually go to a website, might take a bit longer, but means I'm not filling the coffers of an organisation that doesn't listen to the most important people, it's USERS!

Great for saving money and finding deals.

App doesn't seem to work anymore. I just get unexpected server response error message and no deals load.
