HOW TO TALK: Parenting Tips

I listened to the audiobook back in 2021,& it was amazing how I could just change the way I worded things & my kids would actually listen! It cut back on the yelling & arguments instantaneously! I downloaded & paid for this app a year later when my friend's 3 year old was always having a meltdown & wouldn't listen to a single word she said. The app helped me refresh my memory on how to handle meltdowns & I was able to help diffuse the situation when her son was having yet another one. Get it!

NOT FREE I downloaded after reading the book (which is fab) to find it is only free for 24 hours and nowhere does it say how much it costs to pay afterwards. I clicked to 'unlock' the full version as could no longer use the app and it just comes up with t's & c's to enter a contract and doesn't say the cost. Be very careful or you could be charged!

I just downloaded it a few days ago and hadn't had a chance to open the app. I just opened it to try it, and it says my trail period has ended? I didn't even start. It seems as if they give you a short period of time to use the app once downloaded. This is not enough time. It would be more user-friendly if you gave at least 1wk to try it and to have the trail time start the first time you actually try it- not download. I have not yet tried it so have no clue what to expect

I read the book and have been taking notes but this app is so handy and these things actually work. I am a parent of a very violent 5 year old boy and this is helping. Navigation so easy and simple. I can find the solution to my problem very quickly and it even references to pages in the book if you want to read more info. Definitely worth 4 dollars. I can not thank you enough. This app and your book have changed my quality of life exponentially.

So helpful and relevant! This app takes the tips and ideas from How to Talk so Little Kids Will Listen and puts them in an easy to use reference guide. It can be difficult to think of useful parenting phrases and strategies in the heat of the moment, so it's really nice to have this guide right at my fingertips. Thank you for taking the time to make this app! The book revolutionized my parenting and brought so much peace and cooperation to our family, and I'm so excited about this app!

SO HELPFUL in the heat of the moment when my kiddos are fighting 😭 Also, really helps when I need the strength to go through the correct steps. My kids got into a BAD fight and I was fuming at the older one. Using this app while talking to him really help me focus on accepting feelings even though I didn't want to!

An innovation in parent education. This app makes all the material in the best selling book how to talk so little kids will listen immediately accessible for on the go situations. I purchased this since I thought it was a great app but now it keeps asking me to unlock the full version and when I do it says I own the item already. ETA thank you, your advice worked!!

Not the greatest. 1) trial period isn't long enough 2) I cannot, even after I paid for the full version, access the additional resources at the bottom.

Great qick reminder for on the go parents! I would agree you need to have read the book for context. I found the audio book perfect for my gogo lifestyle.

This app is worth every penny. I have not read the book, but I plan on doing so in the future. It is a helpful app to new and seasoned gentle parents alike. I am still learning how to gently teach my kids, so this comes in handy.

I just went to app for first time & it says my free trial is over? How can It be ever if this is the first time I ever opened it up? I'm not paying for something I have no clue is any good. Disappointed & I'm deleting.

Completely unreliable. I'm sure there's some great content - i love the book! - but the app doesn't work. It's inconsistent and unresponsive.

It is sort of useful but the fact that the information and tips are limited and its only a "24 hour" trial is ridiculous.

Better than Parenting Hero, but still unnecessary after reading the book. At least this is a flow chart instead of an animated mini role playing game.

Worked great for initial 24hrs I purchased full version however I cannot access it now. Kinda frustrating.

The user interface looks like a children's book. This is unproductive.

Great supplementary aid for the book - for use in "field" conditions. Loved it.
