great alarm app. getting a little add heavy from what it used to be. I had a ton of days left for ad free use prior to the last update but it seems like that's not a thing anymore? unfortunately this apps subscription service is too much. 14.99 a week is over the top. if it was a one-time purchase price it would be more in the ballpark but is just unrealistic.

This used to be a great application. I've paid for the pro version to remove the ads within the app. but recently even with the pro version, I get lots of obnoxious ads. this makes it unusable. I'll restore the 5 stars when this gets fixed. update as of October 2025. I have provided their support team proof of purchase of huge digital clock PRO version that I had bought several years ago to have no ads, but they never responded despite multiple reminders.

After trying a half-dozen other clock apps, I settled on this one and haven't looked back. I like to use my phone as my alarm clock. This app makes your phone look just like a regular digital alarm clock. One of the best features is that you can set the clock face colours to whatever you want, even in the free version. I set mine to a deep, dark blue and then put the clock in low-brightness mode (a feature also available in the free version) and so at night, the clock is just bright enough that it doesn't light up the whole room and keep me awake. Wonderful. The paid version (which is cheap, too) allows you to adjust that brightness by swiping the screen.

I have used this clock as a bedside clock for years. You used to have the option to make a single purchase to be ad free forever, which I bought. Recently I have been bombarded with so many ads that the app is useless. I have cleared cache and data, reinstalled, and contacted. Support just said it will take a long time to fix. Looks like they are trying to drive me to a $15/week add free subscription which is absolutely ludicrous. I am very disappointed.

Horrific full screen, blaring ads, with no reasonable way to disable them. The clock itself is very well designed. But the ads render the clock unusable. Too bad. Update: Ignore the developer's reply. There are lots of ways to include ads that don't destroy the functionality of the app. And there are lots of reasonable prices one can apply to remove ads. Check out the price of this app if you doubt me.

I just looked at what a subscription to shut off ads and open other "features" I care nothing about... So, $15 per week? $780 per year for a phone clock? Really? $15 per year or perhaps $2 per month maybe... but $780? This has to be a typo, no one in their right mind could possibly think this is a reasonable price for value... Please breakdown the cost justification for the value we would recieve otherwise this app became useless to most of us...

Great and Simple with minimal ads. Having ads only when you open it up (sometimes) and when you change settings is great. It doesn't bombard you with ads, but I also understand needing them sometimes. There's also an option to get rid of them, which is great. But the fact that it doesn't feel necessary is what's really great. And it keeps your screen on, which base clock apps on phones do not. 5/5

Update: Was 5 stars, but in the newest version, touching the clock brings a pop-up menu that covers the clock. The reason I wanted the app was to be able to see time at night without glasses. Now I can't, so it's useless to me. Just does what it's supposed to. I love being able to see the time in the middle of the night without my glasses. Also, can set custom color so it is the perfect brightness for me.

Not liking the new updates. I have used the Huge Digital clock app for over a year now. It was great to use during massage therapy sessions because I can see the clock in low lighting. Plus, I loved the fact that I could change the color of the clock to green, blue, etc. Because the red color for the clock is not favorable for my eyes. But, with the update last week, that color option is no longer available.

This huge digital clock is the best thus far. It has many choices for customizing the screen. I enjoy the night mode and weather on main screen. The alarm is easy to set up. I like to 24hr feature so I don't set the alarm wrongly, that is one of my favorites ones. It doesn't consume my battery that much either and the phone isn't over heating. Overalls, it is a good app.

I have tried most of the latest clock apps, and this one is one of the top three for me. I only use three of them after trying out about a hundred of them. Selection is after consideration of everything you can think of in an app. Is it free with no or low amounts of ads? Is it easy to use and setup if required? Does it have too many bugs or just do things you don't want it to, like stealing your data or causing security issues and slowing down the device? This app has a high learning curve.💯🌲

used to be great. I even paid for the upgrades. now, every time you go to open it there's an ad. people don't want ads when they're trying to go to bed. I just want to set the alarm go to bed. especially if I've already paid for it. after response from company, I am even more against this app. I've had it for several years. now, of the blue, they want yo u to pay $15 a month! for no ads.

I love this app! I use it every night as my clock. You can set the color to any color you want and there are a bunch of different fonts. It shows the day, date, and the next alarm on the main screen. You can change between day and night settings without having to go to the settings bar and you can set it to 24hr clock (which is super handy if you're in the military). You can also set it as your screen saver.. All in all a great app.

The clock was excellent for what I wanted. Very big and very good for the few times per year I need it. But one day suddenly a random toolbar popped up, and I did not know why. I know the app publisher says you can turn it off but if you don't open this app there's nothing to tell you where the toolbar came from, it just shows up. I thought I got a virus and installed several antivirus tools before I figured this out. If I want a clock, I want a clock. I don't want a toolbar.

Ads that take up half the settings screens and are just SLIGHTLY delayed to get you to reach for a setting as it pops up and gets in the way, causing accidental ad clicks. While other premium features can be purchased a la carte, the ad-free unlock is only available if you purchase ALL of the other features, whether you want them or not. The clock does what it says on the tin, but I don't condone or support predatory software design.

Was good, then went to subscription model. I used this a good bit to have a dim clock at night, and even paid to unlock the dimming. Then it went to a subscription model where you either watch ads to use it, or pay $1.50, or $5, per month, to use a clock on your phone (!?), Beyond ridiculous. Uninstalled. I should get a refund for the in app purchase I made.

**Update-I was able to choose a theme that matched the old one. No control over it, but that's OK. The brightness of the current (old) one is back and acceptable.** Loved this app because it had a clock face I could read in total darkness without glasses AND was very dim so it didn't light up my bedroom. The new version got rid of my old clock face as far as I can tell and more importantly, the new default night mode is way too bright and no way to fix it in the free version. Very disappointed.

I actually love the simple concept of this app and have used it for years. Recently they put ads in the app with a subscription fee option to remove them. I am happy to support devs for apps tbat I use. But this app dev is beyond greedy. How much is the subscription? $14.99. Per year? Per month? No, PER WEEK!!! Fifteen bucks a week for a clock! That's almost $800 per year! That price should be for a whole year for an app like this. Uninstalling, you should too.

$14.99/week just to remove ads? That's $780 a year! What kind of company/person would charge that much for a clock app... I'm literally flabbergasted at that price model. If I'm understanding it wrong please let me know... but it literally says $14.99/week subscription to remove ads. Ridiculous. Edit to the response given: You really think that price is worth it for a clock app? IT'S A CLOCK APP. I feel like this is absolute delusion that I'm dealing with... In no world is that price worth it.

Downloaded, immediately got treated to a fullscreen video ad with sound when trying to select an option. I intend to use this as a night digital clock to turn and look at in the middle of the night without having to pick up and interact with my phone, but might touch it to set an alarm. An ad blaring in the middle of the night is atrocious, good lord. Just use banner ads or have a free trial sheesh.
