This app does not function correctly most of the time. On several occasions I had to get the attendant to look up my account on their phone so I could get a wash, even though my phone's location was turned on. I have tried to cancel this account for two days prior to the billing date and the app would not complete the cancelation (it would just keep spinning)- so of course, I had to pay the next month's fee. A Customer Service number would be great.
Some of the locations are better than others. They state that you get extra loyalty points for keeping your membership for 3, 6, and 12 months but I haven't received them. They changed the points from expiring after 3 months to expiring after 12 months and now expiring after 6 months. You have to keep checking what they are offering as benefits because they keep changing it without notifying you. Thinking about cancelling my membership because of their cheap tactics.
I HATE your slow, unpredictable, half working app! Drive up to one of your locations, select the app, and the app just sits there at the splash screen with the water raining down on a car. This happens 90% of the time. Not a phone issue. New Pixel 8 and other apps run fine. Please work on streamlining your app so it will load faster and respond quicker.
Would give zero stars if I could. Tried the trial for $1 and never used the car wash even once, so decided to cancel when I saw an email saying I'd be charged for next month. $29.99 I think. You can't cancel in the app, you have to call someone and no one answers. It took 2 days to get someone to cancel and they still charged my card $21 (I had a $9 credit on my account). I was never refunded for the service I tried so hard to cancel (by call and email) and for a service I never used! FIX THIS!!
I have to give it four stars only because they bill you every 28 days and not a set day of each month. After speaking with someone on the phone, they said that I had to look it up in the app each month as to what date my payment was coming out that they don't send any notifications. I've been to three of their locations in my town and have always had good service and the wash itself is pretty decent.
Before this week I was happy with Hurricane. However, the app has been down for maintenance for several days at least. I have left a message on the website and a voicemail. I have not received a response to either. Just noticed there is a second app in the store. I started to login to that app and then just deleted it. I wish we could get some feedback. Update: there was a guy manually keying my info into the system so I could get my car washed.
Tells you that you cancel anytime but then when you cancel using the app it wont cancel your membership and keeps charging you for months when I have "canceled my membership" multiple times and won't allow card to be removed without replacing it with another card either. I am going to have to go in to get my membership canceled. Very sketchy issue.
It was good at first but when I decided not to renew my monthly membership. It was literally just problem after problem. After problem, you have no option to cancel your membership unless you call and talk to somebody. Who of course, tries to talk you out of it very unprofessional, and very misleading. When you have enough points that you are able to redeem something you think you are getting? A free car wash button reality. They only give you a few dollars credit towards one
The app is nice as far as setting up an account, but you have to jump through hoops to cancel your membership. Tried a few times to cancel which has to be done talking to a customer service member via live chat or phone. Always have a high call volume, and never got through to cancel. Notified bank to decline any future charges.
changing my review... help line helped me on Monday.. and the get assistance button added a +1 and when I removed it the number worked... 50 - 50 blame to each of us... I still blame app for not emailing Hotmail the verification code correctly... my Hotmail account is not getting verification code!! also need help button, calls a number that does not work... sounds like a big scam and I can't get anyone on the phone .
While this is a good app it only works when it feels like it. I am often sitting in the Drive-Thru backing up traffic trying to get the app to respond to give me the barcode to scan to be able to wash my vehicle. in addition, I've been playing that spin to win for a year and it never hits on a win. I honestly don't think anybody wins anything and it's just a ruse. the app sends you messages asking you to respond with what you thought of your wash but there's no way to respond.
The app constantly will not load. This is majorly inconvenient when you're in line and can not back out. You're forced to wait until an employee comes out to assist you. I've uninstalled and re-installed numerous times, but the fix is only temporary. I've canceled my membership.
App was good until a couple weeks ago. Now it either won't open or opens intermittently. I was able to uninstall a couple times and it would work but now if I try that it says it's already active on another device even though it's the same one. I'll be cancelling membership if app won't work.
App tend to be finicky. I often have to wai6 a few minutes for it to load in order to get a wash. The arcade tab is even worse. I do like the messages tab. It provides valuable information. No, its not my data. It does this when I am connected to my home's Wifi too.
Well the wash service is very good... but, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has realized that the spin game is rigged. If you have won, it probably was a computer glitch..lol . It always says bummer, or you get a free spin that ..again is bummer... I have stopped playing just so I don't frustrate myself. Anyone else noticed this???
Zero stars. Went 4.13.24, the app wasn't working and attendant logged me in on their phone using my # to allow me access. I have attempted several times to reinstall and change password to no avail. App states I am logged in on another device and cannot change for 30 days. I am disappointed in the functioning of your app services. I feel it is a breach of my financial/personal confidentiality in having your attendants use my info but I cant make any changes. ATTEMPTING TO CANCEL SERVICE NOW!
Great except for one thing. The spin to win game seems to be fixed. Never lands on anything but free spin and bummer. It would be nice to win a discount every once in a while.
I love it here! I work across the street so it's pretty convenient to get off and go get a quick wash, and you can go twice a day! The only thing I have to complain about is when they switched over from reading your license plate to the app, they made me pay $10, even though they just took $30 out for my monthly subscription!
Doesn't work at all. The employees hate it, I hate it, nobody likes it. I bought a membership a month ago and the app is still telling me to pay for one and says I haven't bought one despite the employees computer saying I have. Been very troublesome trying to get my truck washed because my app doesn't work. And to top it off their "spin to win" only rolls no prize I've been testing it off and on the past month and I've never won anything from it
This apps complicated carwash barcode issue process frequently fails for a couple of minutes to provide a wash barcode at the sign in station, which is upsetting a lot of people. If you appreciate your digital privacy, then forget it! It requires access to far too much information for its purpose. The people behind are not appreciative of how long it takes to process through. Because of this app/issue alone, it is highly unlikely that I will continue my Hurricane Car Wash Club membership.
