Decent game with reasonable wait times. I stopped playing games with ridiculous long waiting times because I'd forget to even play them. Wait 3hrs for this or that. Noway! This game is cool so far but we'll see as I progress if I'll stop playing it due to wait times. Which if that is the case I'll come back and drop stars on review. Update: the game is cool but it takes ridiculous amount of time to upgrade your things after you get to a certain level. Usually after anything is upgraded past level 3. For example to upgrade my throne room it takes about a week! Of course you can "Pay" for it smh. So instead I'm just going to uninstall because as I said before I cannot play games that have ridiculous wait times. But it is a beautiful game.
I don't understand why they call it hustle Castle when all you do is wait and wait and wait and wait.. that being said, the whole concept of the game is awesome. It's the build times and training times it just make it unappealing. They need to do something about the excessive prolonged waiting if they're going to call the game hustle Castle. Just saying. Also, everybody looks the same. There's a lot going on in this game but I feel like they skipping over some essential game basics when they rendered so few characters and no character customisation. Those are my complaints. Although I do play the game daily and plan on continuing to play until I get bored of waiting
it was great at 1st but now seems like if you don't spend $ you can't enjoy the game. I don't mind spending $ if I get what I pay for. I recently bought the goblin assistant. It's supposed to upgrade your dwellers, in training, while you're away. It did but I only leveled up 3 levels in 16 hours. It seems since I purchased this item the time it takes to level up has tripled. I contacted support and they said they didn't see a problem. When my goblin time runs out I will be deleting the game.
I've played and enjoyed this game for 2yrs. Overall i had a good experience. Good game to waste time with. The game progression is nice too. The pvp system needs work, the matching needs more balance. The reason i'm giving one star is unfotunately i ran into a design flaw. I was able to purchase an item with level restrictions below my fighting level, which makes the item useless to me. Support said there is no way to refund the purchase. Took me over a year to save up the points.
Fun at first, but then halted entirely. The first few hours of setting up the castle and training people were exciting. But the suddenly it's 5-7 hours per level to level up. So 50-70 hours and 10 levels later, you can beat the next opponents. 50-70 hours later, you get to play for 15 minutes because you have to level up again. NTM, if you don't pay, higher residents that 3 star are impossible to get. So even if you have legendary gear and the highest level fighters, but they are 3 stars...you will be bottom of the arena tier. Not worth over 200 hours of play time for little result. Decided to uninstall
it's a cute game. but it takes 24 hours to level up over level 30 for each character.I'm trying to level up to 40 from 30,it's going to take 10 days, almost 2weeks!of course you can speed up the process, if you have enough diamonds (which you get through some bonuses or buying) but you'll never have enough to level up all characters. also to level up rooms that help build up your castle, takes about 5 days. and if you want to use diamonds, itll cost a couple thousand diamonds.
Great game. I actually prefer it over Fallout shelter. Has loads of playability. My two complaints are simple. One, not enough platforms for combat. The Portal and Campaign you can only do so much. Two, the matchmaking for Arena is TERRIBLE. I've played probably a dozen tournaments and I'm ALWAYS in the bottom five or so power levels playing. I don't understand your algorithm for matchmaking but it could use work. Other than that, the game is very generous and easy to master.
Game was good, lots of cool stuff to do. i like that armor and weapons have random stats, but you hit a point where you either need to wait 1/2 a day, full day or longer for upgrades in the castle.. you can pay $3 to $5 worth of diamomds for a quick update. Around level 20. In This game your constantly updating which requires days of waiting or serious money. Atter wasting $30 and ending up at the waiting around or buying more diamonds being my options I uninstalled it. plus theres lots of ads.
It's amusing at first. As you get a bit into the game it gets boring as you get stuck in the dumb super long time gating of upgrades. Plus the constant inundation of spam adds to buy stuff. Uninstalled it. Edit: Except it's not balanced because if you pay a lot of money you suddenly unbalance it. And there is no genuine joy in completing a build. It's more of a "Finally, I can actually do something forn2 minutes until I start another upgrade."
I installed this game and played it for a few months back towards the beginning of the year. The advertising was deceptive but what isnt these days, especially mobile games. Played and progressed with small purchases here and there, mostly for the boss loot which seemed like a good deal. Lunar New Year event came and after spending a bit there, the RNG drops were abysmal. PVP is unbalanced and you always get stronger players. Not worth it unless they rebalance properly. Getting ads to come back.
good game made awful by one of the worst pay to win schemas. This game could easily sell for 10 or 15 dollars but as it's free they do need to have some way to make money. The issue i have is with how they've applied all the worst styles of pay to win features, lootboxes, massive wait times, can't do anything without the secondary currency you pay for, in your face pushing of "deals", and to top it off they have the nerve to also sell the game as a subscription service for crappy extras.
This game started out great. I gladly spent a decent amount of money on it. Sadly, once I leveled up my barracks to have six fighters I could no longer compete in tournaments. Now I have completely lost the desire to even play. Also the extreme rise in the cost of everything in the portal store has given me yet another reason not to play. please address these issues and i will gladly spend more money and change my rating. Update: Most issues have been resolved and I once again enjoy playing.
Fun game over all. 1* due to the event going on now. There is no way to complete it without spending a couple hundred dollars. With playing twelve hours a day and spending a little bit you'd only be able to do 1/3. Very disappointed. Pay to advance faster I can understand but get real it's a game. I know of many who have now quit the game due to this. Doesn't seem like a smart business idea to eliminate player base. Oh and what you get from said event is a game changer for the ones who spent the 2-300 on it. That being said it will effect the game for some time.
it was really fun for awhile. but then the numbers dont add up. you play against players weaker than you, and they demolish you. it's a pay to win game. once I realized that, 4 star to 2 very quickly. if there was some strategy or way for players to have a say in combat, one could feasibly say it's not, but as players pay for magic armor and weapons and lower levels demolish you, it's over.
Not a puzzle games like many, many ads show. Several hours and no puzzles at all. Constant pushes for monetization, sit and wait or pay up. If you want good boss gear from the boss you just beat, fork over a few dollars every time. Nothing that this game does is new or novel, it's just a push for cash over and over. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but the ad puzzles proved completely missing and I can't keep playing just to see if they are end game content.
Pros: Great little time waster. It's supposed to take time to do everything, you're not supposed to speed through everything, that's why upgrades take so long. You can earn diamonds in game. Cons: Items cost too many tournament points for the amount of wins possible. Global healing isn't possible without paying. The biggest issue is that it doesn't load for me after the update, and my phone is not out of date at all.
Advertised, this game showed off a mini segment where you get to feed the pregnant dwellers. And if fed correctly it effects the childs stats. I thought that was pretty cool, but it's not in the game. Also I think a chart with a list of all the dwellers should be incorporated. It would help to track all of their skills at once. Otherwise, great way to kill time. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
the first while of playing this game is pretty fun. I definitely got into it but around level 14 which was about 4 days in, it started to drag on. It is not that exciting even though the initial is pretty great. I did enjoy it quite a bit more than the Fallout game which is very similar. I think the biggest challenge is that one's characters are not strong enough to continue to level up and battling against other players it's just boring after a while. I wish they had developed more campaigns.
Overall I love this game. I would say aside from being able to sort tank, mage, and archer items there should be an option to sort miners, wood workers, chefs, treasury, and alchemists items as well. I don't mind watching the ads at all although there are a couple ads that won't play. They freeze and I have to exit the game log back in and hope I don't get the same ad.
I've been playing daily for almost two years now, I love this game and I'm happy to spend money to get all the items available during events, as well as the monthly subscription. Unfortunately at this point the events have become so predatory (even by "free-to-play" standards) it's kind of ruining the game for me. If things don't change soon I'll find a less exploitative game to spend my money on :(
