Hyer Job Search

I went thru the whole thing including the background check, the very day I sign up for an assignment and finish setting up my profile. a mysterious update pops up that I can't install and now the app is unusable edited: uninstalled and reinstalled the app. still getting the message for version 2.43 and won't let me do anything. I'm waiting to find out if I'm accepted at a task as well so this very inconvenient

It sounded great and when I first downloaded it there were tons of tasks in my area everyday. Then, I formally signed up and everything disappeared. I don't know if Hyer ceased operations in my area right when I signed up, but I thought it odd that every task disappeared right after I went through the training. I really wanted to do some of the tasks in my area, but there are literally none.

It was ok. I received a few assignments for Meijer. Meiejers try to overload you with work which takes a while and decreases your pay hourly. I wasn't on the app for a long time and decided to come back. They requested another background check and failed due to a temporary charge that wasn't even a felony. it ultimately got dismissed. I couldn't work anymore so I deleted my account. Be aware that they continuously do background checks which is silly. No other apps do that.

It seems that Hyer is no longer posting tasks for Big Lots.. I've had nothing but success with the app, once you get the hang of the task, and build a relationship with the customer it's a good gig. Pay is always correct and on time! One thing I wish they would add is actually having the customer note in the task what area of yhe store they would like you to work when you arrive, that way you do not have to wait for yhe MOD to come greet you, as they are busy as well.

Firstly, don't apply unless you can absolutley drop everything at the last minute. When you apply for a job you have no idea when you will "scheduled". Also, I waited 2 weeks for them to run a background check and never received an email or notification letting me know if I passed or not. Speaking of notifications they are NONSTOP for job postings and you can easily miss something important! Last, when you apply for jobs, even by accident, you will get kicked off of the app if you miss two jobs.

I like the flexibility of this job. Unlike some of the reviews about last minute opportunities, get ahead of that and be proactive. There are filters you can use such as, Location, Days, and The Task, although the filters don't save for you, only when your searching. There is no commitment if you want to sign up and look around the app. I am happy that I did.

This app is a complete waste of time. I have had this app for over eight months. I was only able to have 2 shifts in the month of february of this year. I've apply over a hundred positions to keep getting not selected. Then all customer service says is to keep applying. They told me that 6 months ago. And here we are still applying and not getting selected. Miejer and some of these other places are gatekeeping and only picking certain amounts of people. It's discrimination.

A good way to make some quick cash "when the stars align." Decent pay, but so far only at Meijer stores. Unfortunately, several of the offers I have recieved are too small and far away to be economical. I would love to see more display audits and deliveries available from other stores, and this app is a great way to facilitate them.

The app itself seems to work as it should but the jobs (at least those in my area) are low paying tasks. $65 (flat rate) for a job that is scheduled for 5 hours but you don't get to leave unless the work is done. So unless you work extremely fast you will likely be there longer for the same pay!?! No thanks. I am going to delete the app but will probably check it again in a few months to see if they offer anything with better pay.

Never any tasks? I think it's because there are so many of these apps now, they're literally fighting for the few jobs that people are posting for. ***EDIT- Gave them another month and a half to see what was up, still no jobs. Like I said in my initial review, too many of these apps out there now and they're cluttering the business and fighting for the few jobs available.

Indeed sent this recommendation to me. It was easy navigating the app and picking jobs, they cap you at 6 jobs it seems. There were jobs till 11/23 that vanished. Nothing is listed and it's the 24th. Easy to use, select 1 each day then wait to be selected. Go to the location, check in with MOD take before & after pics. I stock all checkout coolers, the aisle and display then leave.

takes literally days for instant pay to be available which means it takes days for the processing of payment to go through. but I've had a couple payouts be available for instant pay in the matter of 30mins-1hr

I'm not sure what to say about this app. Really low paying assignments, unclear pay method, limited options. I was hoping this would be a flexible side gig to bring in solid supplemental income, but it's looking more like a liability. Unless you're absolutely desperate I'd say find a brick and mortar temp service.

This app is discriminative and when corresponding with customer service is a big gaslight. For example if you stay in Wayne County they have scanned task in which if you have Amazon or other scanning experience they push that you for 10 to 13 bucks however to leave Detroit and travel to even Brighton, MI isnt worth the pay. Stop gaslighting because you stated in the email by me not take those 10 to 13 payment scanned gigs and that was a requirement for you guys have the email so stop it.

Took a while for background check( feel like the initial bad review pushed it to go thru). Still is 25/75 that the "customer" will choose to hire u. Edit: have been getting underpaid for jobs. Hyer already factored in the company break/lunch but still allows company to deduct from hours worked. Edit: was recently removed from the app due to not making it for a shift caused by medical emergencies.

this app just keeps getting worse 😔 bad enough that there's very few jobs to even go through now apparently there's some invisible training you need to apply to for some of the jobs 🤯 what kind of ridiculous telling me they are open certain times and you have to keep checking back 🤯

I'm not a huge fan. The only time I've been able to work for this app was for the Meijer in Angola. which is 3 hours away every time I try to apply for the Meijer in Indianapolis I don't get picked ever ever I mean I have tried more than 15 times to get a shift for the Meijer in Indianapolis and they don't choose me merchandising is my life I've been in management most of my adult experience and I have merchandising out the wazoo 15 years and still they won't choose me junk

need more opportunities to apply in my area is the only negative and why did the two tasks I applied for got canceled there was one for today and one for tomorrow?

don't know how it would be elsewhere but in Pittsburgh oh that ever posted is burgatory & gwtgo full work weeks 40 plus hours a week etc etc fast easy payout options of daily or weekly how do you recommend using app
