Love the cash back. But it's so time consuming to go through all the products. I have been using his app for years. however it's super frustrating that I buy the same products every week/month/ shopping trip. and a lot of my regular products are not on here and then the weeks I don't buy something that's when it is available for cash back. I do have to stick to a budget, but also want my cash back.

What a wonderful app! Searching for your favorite store is so easy. Finding coupons is a breeze. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because a lot of products that have cash back options for them are higher end stuff that I don't normally buy. (edited 7/22/25) I'm having issues with trying to use separate gift cards in one transaction. Sometimes, the app gets stuck trying to access my purchased gift cards. It is beyond frustrating when trying to pay for my groceries.

I've been using this app for a long time, and really liked it. However, lately I can't use the online shopping option as I can't filter by store name, it just freezes the app indefinitely. The only option is "recommended", which couldn't be less helpful. I can't read over 2500 names in no order to find the one I'm looking for. This had been going on for a few months, I thought it would be fixed by now, but still just a frozen app and I'm losing out on money

It's ok. I used to love it but last year they took money from me because I didn't get any deals. They took $8 almost back to back because when I was shopping I wasn't buying multiple items. Also if you are adding deals it makes you wait a minute after every so many. so if you're in the grocery store or preparing to ship it takes forever to add deals because it keeps stopping with the "wait a minute" error. Apparently they have it set this way on purpose which is actually really annoying.

The app tells you exactly what you need to snap a picture of to get your rebates. I've used it for a long time. If you go through the app before you go shopping and unlock the rebates, then you upload the receipt after the shopping trip. Usually you get paid within a few hours. Cashing out is super easy and fast. I've cashed out several times and I love the speed that you get the rebates and the speed it goes to PayPal or other gift cards.

It started out great. Then, the requirements for cash back became more difficult. You have to buy 3-5 items of a specific item most times. If you don't have to buy multiples, you have to buy the biggest size of the product. I have made a few dollars, and I always check, but usually, what I need doesn't qualify. Also all offers are not good for all stores. I have made a couple of purchases just to find out the offer was only good at Dollar General. Maybe it is worth it for large families.

It's a good idea in theory, but for me, it's almost useless. i do online pickup orders at Target. huge, pricey orders, but they dont work with Target in that sense. make sure if you do order pickups at Target and you want your rewards, you go inside and have them physically print you a receipt....if that's possible. man, im so sad, I was originally so excited to use this app.

I used to love it, but it has been loading very slow or not at all. It's become more of a pain. Editing my review to 1* on 5/14/25 apparently if you don't use the app for a few months, they deduct a $3.99 maintenance fee from what money you haven't cashed out. I deleted my account. I shouldn't be charged a fee because life happens and I dont use the app.

Every time I submit a receipt for the Meijer grocery store and I have eligible items, there is always an issue with this app approving my receipts. I always make sure everything is readable in the pictures, but my submissions are always declined. I had no issue when I first downloaded the app, but as time goes on, there are more and more issues. I have missed out on quite a bit of money back due to this apps poor receipt intake verification. I am ready to close the account and delete this app

I was satisfied with the app, until they changed it where most things one has to link their accounts to it rather than scanning the receipts (Schnuck's, Walgreens, CVS...). Now about the only things I can get money back on are E-bay, and Chewy. And I always have to fight them to get money back on Chewy every month. Even though I place the order through their site I never get it automatically; I have to email (the chat bot gets stuck in a loop), send screenshots (usually multiple times)...

I'm tired of your lack of customer service, out of the blue reversal of credits, & the ridiculous responses to issues. I made a qualifying purchase through the app and provided the proof. Ibotta gave me a sorry explanation that their app failed to connect with the site that qualified, even after I got a purchase recorded message when done. I want my issue resolved. It's frustrating to fight for your credits. 3 years later and same issues. Do better please.

I don't shop based on deals in the app. I get what I need, and see if there's a deal after. So it takes a while to build up cash back to the $20 withdrawal limit. But if you don’t withdraw every 180 days, they deduct $3.99. I was almost there when they hit me. And that fee is every month until you withdraw. I'll keep using until I get 20 or the next fee hits and then I'm done. Don't waste your time with this service. There are better ones that don't steal your progress.

ibotta has gone downhill, won't accept any products on the list that had a coupon. The rewards are almost nothing, 5 or 10cents, not worth the time to select the items & scan receipts anymore. One other thing that has happened many times is that I scan a receipt that is 6 days old and it says it's too old although well within the 7 day time frame. It's not worth my time! Fetch gives a minimum of 25 pts/each receipt & more pts for items on their list with bonuses and rewards for buying multiples

I've been member since 2013 with nearly $250 in lifetime earnings. This app has been good to me... but relevant offers have dwindled, requirements have become more complex, and payouts continued to shrink. Over the last few months, I've let my current earnings drain due to inactivity - a $3.99 charge per month. I knew the first one was coming, and was going to redeem a receipt to prevent the deduction, but it happened 3 days early and that deflated the motivation. I think this is where I exit.

I've had this app for years. in the last 2 years it'll let me log in a few times a month, but other than that it constantly is saying network issue. I've cleared data, I've cleared my cache, I've deleted and reinstalled the app dozens of times. It doesn't fix the issue. I have unusable perks saved in my account because I can't clip new coupons to get it to a high enough total to cash out and delete the app. I'm annoyed. it was an awesome app, I've had so many great savings then it quit.

Great app for big families. lots of great opportunities to get a little money back for just doing your regular shopping. but when you are limited to buying "junk food" or stay free of harmful chemicals in products, they really dont cater much to that demographic. I have saved on a few things so I'll keep the app for some of the perks. overall, good way to earn a little extra money

I tried several times to upload a receipt for an online grocery order, and no matter how I take the pictures that CLEARLY show the store, items, & order total (CLEARLY SHOWN), the app says there's no cash back because it can't read the order total. There's no option to upload a PDF of the receipt (how stupid!), and no way to link my loyalty card number. There's no email address to ask for help. I have a broken leg and had major knee surgery. I can't just go and shop in the store. DO BETTER.

My previous 1 star review was due to log in issues with accounts inside the app but they assured me they were fixed. They may be -- I wouldn't know because logging into Ibotta itself is no longer working. It has me enter a code from my email but clicking continue doesn't do anything, and if I close and reopen entering my login info and clicking the login button doesn't do anything.

Good bye, won't let me log in now to see my balance and decide if I want to struggle to cash out. Was 5 stars, however, doesn't seem to have as good of deals and not as user friendly. Also, if you don't use the app for a period of time, they will deduct a "maintenance fee" of $3.99 per month until they drain your balance.

it can be a really good app when it works. I've been able to redeem roughly 400$ over the last couple of years, but the issue I keep running into is the fact that my app is always experiencing issues. Right now, it won't let me even see the home page, it goes straight to an error page. other times, it won't register my purchases, even after a week or two at a time, and by that rate you cant even get the deals from the previous weeks! I want this app so desperately to work well.
