The camera is excellent , clear and it picks up every motion that it's supposed to. The reason for 2 stars is because when it picked up someone entering my room when I leave last night, no notification of this, so when and I check the feed this morning I can't watch and see what they were doing. It's just a picture of the person in there. It told me to upgrade to plus to watch the video, which I was already subscribed..so I have no idea what's missing. Or how to fix this problem!

Sometimes the camera works for awhile & it is a clear picture. Then...it all goes bad. Picture freezes constantly. Streaming error over & over. You have to constantly log in again & again. It usually does this when it's really important that you see something right then. It has been happening all the time now. I hate this damn app. It sucks!

Camera quality is great at all lighting levels and the cameras/app come with nice features. The bad: 95% of the time the camera is not providing a live feed. It freezes and download rate sits at 0 Kb/s. You can't pan the camera because it freezes and retains your input as if you're holding the pan button so it spins until it can't spin anymore. Furthermore, it uploads video first to some internet server somewhere before being downloaded to your viewing device (phone). Will not work over LAN.

Very disappointed, the app records and has a friendly ui, but when it comes to the most important feature which is to save recorded video it fails miserably. The only way to download a video segment is to hit the record button during the playback, so if you're downloading a 3p minutes video you'll have to watch snd Keep your screen on for 30 minutes 🙃. This is very critical and should have fixed before launch.

I have been using this app for a few years now and barely anything has been improved. I was hoping my robot vacuum will receive firmware updates to make it smarter, but it didn't. The robot constantly crashes into obstacle and doesn't navigate around the same obstacle even if after trying for a long time. The map can sometimes get deleted when the robot goes into a curtain and block the radar, and there is just no way to restore an older map unlike other apps or robot vacuum brands.

Anyone planning to purchase VIP Video for Imou PC App, please don't. Purchased a subscription because live stream plays for a few short minutes before going off on PC. Paying VIP Video is meant to keep the steam playing indefinitely but it still turns off even with an active subscription. Even worse, Imou doesn't provide support or documentation on how to tackle problems. They also offer no mechanism for cancelling the service and refund. Don't waste your bucks like I did.

Constant stuttering even on strong Wifi. 0Kb/second. Because of this you get gaps in live view and on the recordings playback. It almost feels like it's sending the data somewhere else before it sends it to your phone. The camera image is great but the connection issues makes it worthless.

when we switched internet on our device the imou application account logs out ! when we are connected with Wi-Fi on our mobile it works OK, and when we connect 4G data and open the imou application it logs out automatically !!!! why? facing frustration when I am out from house and need to log back again to see the cameras! Fix it.

i want to set detection schedule time from 18:00 -08:00. but when i click on save button it says " End Time Must Be Later Than Start " what the hell is this.?? i want to schedule night detection from 18pm to 8am. but it doesn't work..! kindly fix this issue..!

Update: downgrading to 1 star, cannot access any videos from SD storage, keep getting prompted for cloud space purchase. Upon further review it was discovered the camera has corrupted multiple SD cards and erased all my videos. The camera no longer recognizes any SD card inserted.

Currently, if I want to download a specific clip (for example, from 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM), I have to play and record the entire two‑hour video manually. The app does not provide an option to directly save a selected time range. I would like to request a feature that allows users to choose a start and end time within recorded footage and download only that segment. This would save time, reduce storage usage, and make the app more user‑friendly for reviewing important events.

The app is over-engineered and not intuitive. You can get stuck in the loop and lose your way totally. The app needs to be simpler. It should be an indicator that shows you if you are now in home mode, away mode etc. Just a mess. The camera itself is good, but this is an app store so we review only apps, not hardware.

Product reliability is bad and service is even worse. The camera keeps disconnecting and only works temporarily after manual adjustment. Support team does not pay attention — only chatbot replies, no proper assistance. Not recommended.

Daylight saving issue has been fixed besides that it's sort of ok. It takes three steps now to get into multiple views instead of one....etc, etc. This app is getting to busy compare to a few years ago.

Cost of the camera is affordable compared to other brands and the app is good. But why is it 450MB excluding the app data? Realme link is 314MB. It's still high, but not as much as this app.

I've been using these cameras for a while now. I've seen someone's comment mentioning that they had to get a subscription, which is not true. You can get a subscription but you can literally skip that option. please read everything throughly. Other than that, everything works so well. I mainly use it to check up on my fur babies or if there's a disturbance

Imou Cell 3 c. Custom settings are not applied (settings - Performance mode - custom), recording length remains Max 15 seconds no matter what.. Very annoying. Latest software patch..

Where is favorite point in ptz setting? It means you can not set favorite point for you imou cameras?I created a favorite point by Smart PSS on the IMU camera, but it can't be created and managed by the IMU Life app itself! Please add this option.

I love this camera system. I bought this a few years ago and it works amazingly. I only pay like 2.99 for monthly subscription for my 2 cameras. they offer a great view and also you have real time voice to the camera.

No menus to setup patrol mode for the PTZ camera i installed.What is the use of PTZ camera and the associated app with out patrol mode setup menus.Do these people expect us to manually turn the camera in whatever time to monitor different areas the camera can cover.Absurb camera.Would not recommend this imou brand.Half baked product released into the market for testing.
