It has become worst. In older versions, I could diagnose my car with precise options without dropping diagnostics session. however, now during the diagnosis, the Bluetooth connection drops followed by reconnection (probably intentional) but never resumes diagnosis from the same point although reconnection takes very little time.
This used to be a good app and easy to use. Now they have incorporated ads everywhere it's unusable, I would mind the ads if the app worked but it seems that they find a way to block the google ads overlay so that when you get the option to leave the ad or mark it as complete it's impossible to do so. Too bad, I wouldn't mind the ad if it meant the app worked, but that's what you get when a company gets greedy.
The app was working well, but today when I open the dashboard, it asks me to choose an option that requires payment in order to access the dashboard and monitor the car’s settings, such as temperature and RPM i post in 1:1 enquiry but i didn't got any answer I'm still having the same problem
This gets a 5 from me. I have a paid version of Torq pro app and it didn't detect any fault codes. Come to using this and few ads ok I understand most apps pro version cost to clear. Ran full found 6 codes on this that other app didnt and had a malfunction engine code that would not clear even with oil reset. This tho cleared. Does your preimum do DPF regeneration?
installed it, gets a pop-up explaining something that I will never know because it's hidden behind the advert at the bottom. Sure looks feature rich, but only if I can get it connected to my ELM
Still loving it and using it almost daily. Could you look into the "Driving Record" view? When you expand the time interval to "3 months" or longer, the app freezes a little bit while it's loading the aggregated data (probably). Maybe this could be done asynchronously or something. It would also be cool if you could export the data by year in addition to monthly.
I will give yall 5 stars because those devices are expensive if you want to get the good ones. but I wish it could just connect to my Fords Android Auto since thats connected to the cars computer anyway but still cool app.
After some updates, the MAP sensor reading appears at certain times as N/A when in reality the MAP sensor is working fine, this can cause diagnostic confusion.
I'm really happy with this app! I used Car Scanner before, but this one connects much faster to my OBD dongle. Plus, while that app is really customizable, this one has a more modern look. I also like the eco&safe driving style score. I definitely recommend it!
It gives me more than what I expected. Excellent app. Everything was free for a year or so, now for detailed diagnosis and clearance of faults you pay just few bucks. I'd say that's worth every penny. Also, I like that there are no disruptive and annoying ads. I use it on Chevy Cruze and Merc GLA. App's exceptional!
Subscription instead of a one-time purchase => replaced with a functionally superior alternative that can be bought instead of rented and consequently uninstalled. For most users that are not working as mechanics, this kind of software is more or less a preparation in case an emergency happens, meaning the app might get used once or twice. A subscription scheme to milk customers ad infinitum is not a suitable method of monetization for most programs, except for antivirus and firewall.
This app is great, I bought a Veepeak OBD2 bluetooth scanner. Some apps couldn't connect at all (torque, dash commander and others), Infocar connected quickly, reliably and easily. The information on the dashboard is great, and it reads the error codes well too. I was looking to buy this to support the developer but it seems to be entirely free. I don't even see ads anywhere.
I absolutely love this app. Very amazing interface. Very great stats and will give you data you can make sense of. You have to experiment and check through features. Feature request: while we add a log in maintenance log section, can you put in a feature to add the fuel price at that day? Cause in places like ,India, the fuel prices increase / decrease daily. It will help with a great deal as I don't have to update fuel costs separately.
Not sure why everyone complains so much for a free app. Found this to be the best Free Odb2 scanner app out there. A few item could use work, like the fact sometimes settings disappear, but find it great for tracking driving habits and stats, as well as it provides all the information I need. Great work on the app. Keep the features coming.
Had it for about a week, by far best app on the market for monitoring while driving. My car doesn't have anything but a fuel Guage and a speedo. This app allows me to see extremely accurate fuel consumption(compared to me tracking it manually) in real time. It helps me correct bad driving habits that saves me fuel. Bravo to the development team!!!
Great app! I have tested other OBD2 best rated applications but this I like the most. I really appreciate Driving records and Driving style reports. Great is that you can display measures what you want to see in chart for selected ride. Please add KPI specification (APS, TPS etc.) and long term stats in Driving records (not only distance and fuel consumption ideally). Keep up the good work!
Very good! Works fluently. Can I export analytical trip data? There is the excel output but I would like more, like gps current consumption and more. Clearly the data is there and they are drawned on the map and on the graphs. Also could you add the ability to add custom entries in consumables management and the ability to export it something like a maintenance log of the car?
Hello, I have subscriptions until next year. So far more or les, it works great, but there are random disconnects, and today, the app signed me out and wiped all data. It's not something i would like to happen in the future. Other than that, the app has good features and works like charm. I will definitely give 5 stars as soon as disconnects are fixed.
Terrible privacy policy, ruined great app. An otherwise great app is ruined yet again by a ridiculously intrusive privacy policy. This app collects and sells just about everything on your phone. Beware. Also on the Fuel page, no fuel range, distance until empty. The most important real time metric for fuel. How far can I travel until empty. To bad, otherwise great app.
When it works, it's great. Unfortunately, it can take a couple of minutes to connect to obd2 - if at all - then may disconnect itself. Over-reads fuel economy by about 10%. Rapid deceleration warning is over sensitive - anything harder than engine braking triggers it. not triggered rapid acceleration or rapid cornering yet. "Blackbox" feature is good - again, when it works. If you leave the screen, it stops recording. Update:- Need to subscribe to run diagnostics now? Lost a star now.
