Innovative Language Learning

I'm really liking this app to learn another language, but...... Recently, I've noticed that I can't put vocabulary words into my lists using the app. Update: I noticed the app updated yesterday, but I'm still having the same issue. I tried to uninstall, then reinstall, but no luck. No worries. It's just a minor issue. Still loving the app. Update again: OK. Now I'm good. I'm able to put vocabulary words into labels. Thank you devs!

So far I am enjoying the lessons. However, I was a little disheartened to hear from those in my podcasts that they recorded everything way back in 2009 or something like that. That's a decade ago, and I would have preferred something modern to keep up with advancements in education. One thing that annoys me is that my 'teachers' keep telling listeners to go to the website. Literally every lesson tells that. I'm using the app because it's portable, and I would hope that it has all that I need.

I think I've tried every language learning app for my target language ( Japanese ) this was the only platform that had everything I was looking for, flash cards, dialogue practice, worksheets, study books, language teachers, and ways to compare your pronunciation to native speakers. The one caveat is that not all the features are in the app. You do need to use your browser to get things like flash cards and dialogue role play. However I love my experience.

This is a great companion piece for the full site. The audio only lessons are clearly marked and easy to find/download for use on the commute! Only one complaint, as my commute is ~1 hour drive time, I'd like to set multiple audio lessons up as a playlist. Listening to one 10-minute lesson then having 40-50 minutes of silence until I can pull off the road feels like wasted time. That addition would get it 5 stars!

I am so happy with this app! It gives you direction with a learning path and also gives you flexibility to add other learning paths on things of interest, such as culture, business, grammar, exams, etc. It is bite size pieces that you can retain, while also explaining the sound/grammar. I felt confused with other programs and this makes me feel like I am going to know Japanese when we ultimately move there for work. I also really enjoy it and look forward to doing it.

I've only just starting using the app, but it seems pretty simple to use & easy to navigate. The only issue I have so far is that even though I have a payed subscription with Spanishpod101, it doesn't seem to correlate with the app. So, what I'm gathering, unless I'm missing something, is that I have to pay for a subscription for the app as well which doesn't seem right/fair at all.

I am using ThaiPod101 and I am glad that I chose Innovative over the other options. The lessons are very well structured and the available content with each lesson (pdf transcripts, etc.) is great. I have the top tier package and had used the online/PC version for a couple of months before even downloading the app, which I only did due to a business trip with lots of free time. I'm very glad that i got the app as well. You will not regret downloading or purchasing this product.

Very helpful. My retention of what is taught is much better than studying on my own with books or flashcards. I really like that the lessons are short, so you can always fit one or two into a busy day. I also like that there's one American English speaker who is fluent in Japanese, and a Japanese native that is fluent in English. I like that the native speakers, speak with a slight accent. It's more realistic, as to what you might hear if visiting or speaking to a Japanese native.

Lessons were nice on this app. App signed me out, and wouldn't sign me back in. I tried five times. I didn't sign up for the 7 day free trail. I hope, that's not the reason I had such a hard time Im uninstalling the app. I only used it for thirty-one minutes. Im in remission of breadt cancer. My doc said it would be good to learn something new. I sign up at the website. I purchased the audiobook from Amazon. I'll just get my extra lessons from the website. Audiobook is very nice.

This apps is fantastic. I use it everyday to listen the lessons. In the last 12 months, I have improved my English and now I speak it better, with more vocabulary, more fluid,, with a better pronuntiation and with a better grammatical structure. Furthermore, I understand, in a better way, live english conversations as TV shows, movies, etc. I really love this app and in general all the English Class 101 course.

This the best language learning program I have used. The lessons are in depth without being overwhelming. The pronunciation exercises are incredibly effective! I'm also using the Tandem app to practice my Portuguese with native speakers, and I receive so many compliments on both my written and spoken language skills! I've only been using the Innovative Language app for about a month or so, and I'm loving it!

I was so excited when I downloaded this app bc I was originally using duolingo. & with duolingo, it doesn't go in depth like this one does so I was really looking forward to being able to understand on a deeper level .... until I realized you have to pay monthly for this. first, it's not advertised with a damn price. they make it seem like its free. not saying this isn't worthy of a price, bc I think it is for what you're getting, however, PLEASE ADVERTISE as such. it's very misleading.

The app started glitching on me. It would take long to start up and sometimes would freeze up my entire phone. Then my word bank wouldn't sync with my account even though I had WiFi. This only started happening after I had the app for a while. Other than that it has been very convenient to take my language lessons on the go and still have all the resources the full website has.

This is by far the most comprehensive and detailed language learning course, Ever!Innovative Language Learning is the only course that captivates my attention. I love how they have podcasts with 2-3 different voices, exemplifying the language of my choice. There are podcasts, audio files, video files, interactive videos, word bank, vocabulary words broken down into syllables with a narrator, & ability to work one-on-one with an instructor are just a few of many perks to list. This is the Best!

I'm using the app with Premium subscription, so my experience may be different from others'. I'm really enjoying the content and the ability to download lessons to use offline and the ability to download the PDF lesson notes to review later. However, I haven't yet found the practice side of things efficient. I like other apps where you can drill words and sentences. There's fewer options like that in this app. Or at least I haven't used them yet. Quizzes are only available through the site.

I've used this app for Dutch and Norwegian. Overall it is a good app. It is one of the few language apps I know of that has so much audio content. The dialogs typically feel natural. The basic subscription can be reasonably priced and you get all the audio. I wish flashcards were included at this level. It is a big price jump to get premium if all I want is to add flashcards. My issues: it asked daily to rate the app and in some cases the audio actors aren't very good and mumble their lines.

It's extremely engaging, and has so many ways to learn; it has hours upon hours of audio lessons, videos, textbooks to go with the lessons, it's very well made. quick note, however: it is not free. There is a free trial, but it is for 7 days (no credit card required). Otherwise, amazing!

I have used/been using a number of apps, and YouTube channels to learn Russian on my own. This is the top app for sure, better than Rosetta stone and Duolingo, and I listen to it almost every day since signing up. The lessons are the perfect length and provide just the right amount of explanation for context, grammar, and vocab. My one complaint is the app is not well laid out so you have to dig a bit to get where you need to go. It's a minor annoyance though for such great content.

Great app, the better app for my needs. The pay version is far superior to other apps. The synchrony between the app and website is substantial as well. Some lessons are passive listening, good for driving distances others require attention and practice, especially the reading and writing portions. I do recommend avoiding the "tutor" pay version and choosing the package below.

so far very helpful. i like how many different resources it gives you to learn one lesson (at least for most of the Japanese lessons, not quite all). there's audio, audio review, line by line review, focus on kanji, lesson notes, and some others that i haven't messed with yet. that's not even including the video lessons, just the audio lessons; there are even more tools if you count the video lessons' tools. A bit pricey, but still cheaper than any other effective language learning system.
