Intact Insurance: Mobile app

I like how it shows the route info of the drive. I found it's much too sensitive to pin acceleration or breaking. Sometimes you get cut off and have to stop fast. Or you have to speed up to merge in. This has to be corrected! Sometimes the trip does not get logged. This should be fixed!

Overall a good design and pretty intuitive. Though I've noticed it has two ways of marking phone usage - one seems to be very clear phone usage (like when you're a passenger) but sometimes it has a small line underneath that says you used your phone ? I can't find any rhyme or reason to how to stop that - tried leaving my phone in my purse, mounting it to the dash, putting it in the console or leaving it in my pocket. Doesn't seem to matter which way it's stored, it still says phone used.

It's great to have, updates on everything useful for your time driving! drive style, rating, helpful tips.... if it works properly... after the last update it freezes on the load screen for every page, no matter how many times you open and close the app. Unrelated to connectivity issues, my phone was connected to wireless data with full bars, or WIFI every time I opened the app recently.

only used it for two days, it did not record 2 of my 5 trips day one, and 1 out of 2 day 2. I must use the app to save premiums, but the accuracy should be much better. Also uses approximately 1% battery life per hour. Now the app has reduced my km by about 30%, no trips shown above 2km, did 60km yesterday and 135 km the day before, none of it shown. This may cost me on my discount. What is happening in the app?

My drive app is not working and no one can help to activate my drive app to allow me to use it . App is not recording, bur is open, too much inconvenience to get app working. The app is always on, yet I'm asked to log in. The app is a hassle to have to repeatedly log in. it is the worst app ever. never works, constantly having to log in. no matter how smooth i drive I still get 49% to 52 in the past few weeks. some of my drives are not being recorded and when they are the smoothness percentile does not improve. Being winter is drive slower and use lots of space for slowing down. I do not slam on my breaks. so I don't know what to say, orher than where a drive a small car does the apt not consider that. I am afraid that my score will decrease as will my discount. I mean my speed is 100% and my focus is at 100%.

the app is overall okay. i am being rated poorly because my vehicles GPS misreporting the speed limit. ie. I drive 110 km/h in a 110 but my vehicle reports speed limit of 100 km/hr. also, not sure how you can differentiate between following too close or stopping due to red light. I keep 3 to 5 car lengths away to be safe.

Extreme slow, it would literally finish exchanging data with the server and still would be showing the loading icon and keeps freezing if I try to open a trip... in the last last year the application has become extremely slow 90% of the time it looks like it is loading but it doesn't open, it just stays stuck loading, I couldn't even get my proof of insurance, this is problematic.

The app is unreliable. it constantly signs me out and then it decides when it will allow me to log in again. currently I can't log in to see any information. it keeps saying theres something wrong with my internet connection but nothing is wrong with my internet connection. Everything is running fine except for this app.

I am forced to use this app due to company policy but it is very slow and the data related to driving tracking and monitoring is mostly incorrect and does not update quickly and it has happened a few times that I was at home but driving was recorded for me and recently it has deducted about 400 km from my total distance traveled. In my opinion it is not really useful in this particular case.

would give no stars but there's no option for that. app is useless and doesn't track all your trips. opts in public transportation when I make short trips. I never use public transportation so why it put it in there is beyond me. Also applies wrong speed limit signs so you get flagged for speeding when you are not. The only reason I use it is for the mere 5-10% savings per month it earns. utter junk

too many times that I have uninstalled and installed this app on my Android phone. The app never display the policy and I can't pay my bill online. The only thing the app did is to track my driving which is not the only reason on using this app. Call your support line and the broker and doesn't seem to have any solution. quite disappointed, used to have my policy display on the old version around 2 years around but not anymore.

the app is no longer working properly. Uninstalled and re-installed it multiple times. I can no longer see the individual drives. It tracks sometimes when I'm a passenger, or if someone else uses my phone to update directions which in turn thinks I'm using my device. If it's not accurately tracking, then what's the point? it will drive the premium up based on false data.

if I could give this app negative stars i would - I've now had it over a year and got a new phone. now magically my numbers are way worse than they were from the previous phone and history. how is it that a YEAR of previous data was much higher and now magically I'm getting poor rating (still better than average but NOT what they should be) this app makes up data and is purposely screwing over drivers. I'm looking for a new insurance company - this is a scam and a complete rip off.

having to choose a password with all the requirements and rembering it is a good idea but remembering it is not as easy you should be able to use something that is easier to rember and use we all have numerous apps and passwords to remembering them is not always easy

your app needs to be fixed again everytime you update my drive stops working i can not open my drive at all I can open everything else and it is still running in back round tried deleting and reinstalling that never works feels like just giving up on the app it is more a pain then useful since the update it is not working right says temporary unavailable and it says that for the last almost two weeks

Worst app ever! And when you read their responses they thank you and tell you they're happy you enjoy it even though everyone is complaining. They're not addressing the fact it doesn't work, they don't provide solutions or when it'll get fixed.

It drains the battery so quickly, and there doesn't seem to be a way to tell the app if I've turned off location services because I'm not driving anywhere that day. Otherwise no comments good or bad on the app, it seems fine.

I noticed lately the app is saying I'm speeding when I wasn't. Like this morning I was driving a little bit under the speed limit because of road conditions and the app registered me as speeding. This app is not accurate on some days.

The smoothness report is not accurate. Moreover, I only drove 225 kms for 30 days and it says I only consumed %9 less fuel than expected for this type of car. however it is a new car purchased last month, all travels were urban ones. You need to acknowledge drivers who drive safely.
