Love it! The language can sometimes be hard to pick up but they give you a break down of the words right at your finger tips, videos included! I absolutely love the interactive quizzes - which I fail consistently 🤦🏽♀️. I think it would be cool to have a way to go back and be requizzed just to check for understanding. At first I didn't like that my path to learning was already chosen unlike some of the other digital learning apps I use, but as a newbie, it is good to review these basics.
Has helped me understand finance so much more. Ground up learning but they also adapt to your starting knowledge so it's good no matter what level you're starting at. Easy to understand lessons and the quizzes help you know what you need to work on. I love the demo version of investing in stocks so you can learn without risking your money. An awesome app through and through.
I'm usually quite poor at leaving reviews but I had to make the effort for this app as it's been unbelievably useful for me as someone new to trading. The language is jargon free (unless they're explaining the jargon), the information is broken down into bite-sized chunks and the user interface is simple and attractive. I only installed this yesterday and have already used it way more than I'd imagined I would. And the icing on the cake is that, so far, there have been no ads! Great work!!
Was looking to invest a little in some stocks but found trawling through the internet for basic information confusing. This app covers everything you need to know in one place, simplistically and cuts through jargon. There are quizes after each lesson so that you know what you need to brush up on. Fabulous app for those new to trading. Can't wait to learn more. A +++
this app has a lot of great information in an easily learnable way. however, there are some issues with the app I've tried sending to the developer through the in-app feedback button but it said the recipient couldn't be found, which is another issue.
I love this app. When I first heard of financial trading seemed like such a huge concept, but when I saw this app I immediately changed my mind. Thank goodness I found it. The only thing I'd like changed is that to read the cards, you have to pull them up and those highlitable thingies now don't highlight... But that's an extremely minor issue. Thumbs and toes up lol.
It's a little useless, tbh. It gives you a bare minimum one-sentence description of an event with no historical context and asks you if you think it made the market go up or down. It also gives you a bare bones graph of the market at the point of the event (without an axis to know the timeframe, of course). It doesn't give you a detailed description or context until after you answer, and even then it still misses a lot of details.
This is a phenomenal application for learning the basics of not only the financial market but also investing and trading. It is packed with lots of practical information. On top of that, it does a great job of a educational application as it gives users words of encouragement when they are lazy. Overall, it is a great application for would-be successful traders and investors.
Best app for newbies to learn and understand trading. It can become one of the most popular learning apps if devs can make it available on different languages like Hindi, Chinese, Arabic etc. Also audio formats should also be included of the articles so that it can be used even on the dining table.
Although I've had an interest in learning about trading for a long time, I could never find the time and energy to sit down looking at dry articles. This app is brilliantly laid out and so far I've learned more in less than a day of using this app than I had from reading articles on and off over the years. Thank you Investmate!
Overall a well designed app but as they say - the initial impression is the most important one and I, personally, found the first lesson very chaotic. Starts talking about what a market is and then instantly jumps into OTC trades, some IOU (or whatever it was) that isn't even explained. Few cards later they're already talking about spreads and bids. Like, gee, slow down and have some structure to it all. I don't need to be thrown straight into the deepest end in the seventh card out of 24 in a lesson that's supposed to be for complete beginners. It feels like an app that someone who knows finance inside out decided to put together without realizing that most of the people need spoon-feeding all this information. Maybe it gets better, maybe not, but if I get confused in the first two minutes them I'm slightly skeptic about what's to come.
Decided to learn something new. I like the page flipping through the lessons. The quiz after is a good way to test what you have learned (be aware that not all answer selections have been covered). I really enjoy the highlighted vocabulary terms give a detailed definition, background info and examples. Still in the first level and love it so far!
Clean, user friendly experience which sets an excellent base which you continue to build on. Would highly recommend for those who know very little about investing and want to learn more, and even those (like myself) who have a basic knowledge and want to expand on what they already know. I also love the little quizzes at the end of each section - forces you to pay attention!
Seems like a great app so far. Its free but is so much better than the average free app. It teaches you a lot. Good design and user interface. Would recommend if you want to learn about investing. Good for all ages. Looking forward to learning more. I love when you don't know about something it takes you to a page where you can read more. I saw someone wanted this to change to just a pop up. If possible maybe you could find a way to give the user the option of both and let them decide
I love this app so far. It's really easy to use and the explanations are great (coming from someone with 0 knowledge about economic stuffs). I really look forward to using it for a long time. Thanks developer team❤️ If I can request something, i would love to have a widget so i can remember to learn everyday. Another addition would probably to add 'voice' into the learning card, because it would help with the learning (as i am a non-english speaker). But even rn, it's really helpful. Thank you!❤
Great app, really breaks everything down so that it is easily understood. One point or suggestion I have is that when someone taps on a highlighted word and is given an explanation and example of use. It would be good to have an option to choose such as "test me" which could give a short quiz or test to see whether you now understand the term and if you answer a question wrong then a further and simpler example can be given in order for the user to fully understand what is being said.
This app has been wonderful in terms of breaking it all down. The way everything is worded for you, as well as the examples given, really help you to fully grasp & catch on to what they're saying the first time. You won't have to keep reading things over & over, confused as hell... they've done an excellent job of making knowledge that the normal consumer has access to but typically doesn't understand, understandable! I really appreciate this app.
Left a one star the first time around when it was buggy. The glitch got fixed; so I got to use it a bit. Honestly, it is pretty damn great. There is a lot of good info here and I learned a bunch in a day. Still buggy, had to uninstall it because of a bug once, but other than that it is a pretty good app. 4/5
It provides very basic/entry knowledge into trading terminology. It is easy to navigate but can be a little repetitive. It would be better if they walked us through picking good investments (doing the research) and completing trades based on the research.
Close to perfect. The app does offer a pretty intuitive program, but I feel like it doesn't actually pay attention to wether or not your learning and retaining the information well. The quizzes let you continue if you fail and same with the learning checks. There's also no implementation or practice of the material. Otherwise it's fantastic.
