Lots of ad banners. Sometimes ad banners don't let you do anything but close the app and start over again. Pathetic! Hard to believe this is IRCTC official app meant for ticket booking. Day by day, they are making the app a junk, adding unnecessary features that have nothing to do with rail. Keep it focused, simple, relevant and easy to use.

This app is the most pathetic ever. I've experienced multiple issues. It automatically logs me out multiple times when trying to book advanced tickets prior to 60 days. Payments get settled through an IRCTC wallet, but bookings fail. If it doesn't allow booking tickets, what's the point of keeping money in the wallet? The money from the wallet can't even be transferred back to the bank. In the master list, even when I add a name exactly as per my Aadhaar card, it still prompts me to re-verify

After installing the latest update of the IRCTC app, app crashes every time I try to book a ticket. Whenever I attempt to proceed with the booking, a message appears saying “Unable to process your request” and the app automatically logs me out. This issue is making it impossible to complete a booking. Please look into this problem and fix it as soon as possible in the next update. 🙏

This is extremely frustrating. The application keeps showing errors and logging me out, making ticket booking impossible. I’ve tried multiple devices and networks, but the issue continues. During Tatkal booking, payment processing takes 15–20 minutes, and after that it shows waiting list. The full amount is also not credited back. This is a complete waste of time and money. Please fix this urgently.

I am extremely disappointed with the Tatkal booking system. Within 1 to 3 minutes, all tickets get fully booked. A normal person does not even get a fair chance to complete the booking. As soon as Tatkal opens, the app becomes slow, hangs, or logs out automatically. By the time payment page loads, tickets are already gone. This makes it almost impossible for genuine users to book tickets during emergencies.

Whenever I try to book a tattakal ticket, it shows 100+ tickets available. Then, the amount gets deducted from my bank account within 1 minute but the system buffers for about 3-4 minutes and finally says ticket not booked or unavailable. It happens to others too. After the amount is deducted, it will take more time and still not confirm booking. I have been facing the same problem for 7 days.😡😡😡😡😡

I have always had a very bad experience. The ticket booking process, especially during Tatkal, is not improving at all. The system becomes slow and payments fail. Also, the eWallet money is not transferable back to a bank account, which feels like the height of autocracy. This is unfair to users who are unable to book tickets but cannot withdraw their balance.

This is happening to others as well. After the amount is deducted, it takes too long and still doesn't confirm the booking. please try to resolve the issue indian railways over the experience is very bad

I'm extremely disappointed with the IRCTC app. I've been facing login issues for many days now, and the app is totally unusable. Despite trying multiple times, I'm unable to login to my account. The app keeps showing incorrect username or password error, even though I'm entering the correct credentials. The app's failure to resolve this issue is unacceptable. I've tried clearing cache, reinstalling the app, and even resetting my password, but nothing seems to work.

As a lot of people have already mentioned and still there's no work that has been done it's no use of saying it again. if you can't open the app during Tatkal booking what is the use? and even if somehow you can open it and going ahead for the payment, you'll get an error saying "There seems to be a connection issue with your request". USELESS APP!

By the time it responds, all tickets are sold out. This happens consistently despite having a high-speed internet connection. It seems the servers cannot handle the load, or there is a major technical glitch in the booking flow. Please fix your backend infrastructure; it’s impossible for a common use

Extremely disappointing. useless during tatkal hours. At exact 10, app forcefully logs out user, when i login again every page is like utter slow. Once the payment is initiated, sometimes amount deducted, wait for 3 min and just throw some random error. else it says no internet connection where I am able to login successfully, search the train and all. After all this drama, when I login again, it shows waiting list. Thanks for this wonderful booking experience.

The worst app ever . Literally say site unreachable when I reach payment option and then I have to go back and try again. All this while trying to book tatkal tickets , every second counts. For the life of me , I hate this app. update : 2 year later and still the same. money got debited from my account at 10.01 but transaction keeps processing and then gets dropped . what is the point of such apps if even if your one of the first to book and pay , it fails

Every time I'm trying to book a tatkal ticket.. it's logging me out.. then after logging in it's showing there's some error in the connection.. which is absolute rubbish.. My question is why let us download the app if you're not going to let us book the tickets individually and if only travel agents are going to get the benefit then just say it... What a pathetic app

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. I tried booking a Tatkal sleeper ticket by logging in exactly at 11:00 AM. By 11:02 AM, the amount was deducted from my account, and the app suddenly logged me out saying “session expired.”Despite the money already being deducted, there was no ticket, and no clear explanation of what happened. As the ticket was important,I attempted to book again, only to be met with repeated connection issues. Booking Tatkal tickets feels more gamble than a service.

Very disappointing experience. The app logs in successfully, but whenever I try to check seat availability, it shows a connection error and doesn’t load anything. My internet is perfectly fine and other apps work normally. Even after clearing cache, reinstalling, and updating, the same issue continues. IRCTC really needs to fix this — it’s frustrating for regular users trying to book tickets smoothly.
