Island Hoppers: Farm Adventure

NOT like the pictures, but..Farming game, spending energy, but with adventure and lots of events. So far no actual money spent, ads are optional if you don't want to wait an hour for energy to fill back up. On level 22, took a couple months to get there for free. Usually kills about 10 minutes to just run out of energy, but there's lots of other things to do to spend twice that much time. No real consequences for not finishing events, since the best way is to spend real money. Still worth it.

Yet again, this is a game that is exactly NOTHING like it's advertised. I've been playing for a few hours now and I have yet to see any of the scenes from the gameplay in the ad. Every game with this type of showcased playing type has just been a map where you use energy to chop trees and break rocks to move around the map. I can't even say that there are puzzles. I've done 3 and they took less than 10 seconds, each. I'm going to play a bit more, but currently, I feel mislead.

Game is definitely encourages players to buy into the game, but you don't have to in order to advance. Which is nice, and makes the game enjoyable. I have a few issues with only being able to send 5 gifts a day, or that you cannot increase your amount of energy. I am glad we can GO OVER our limit without being penalized. My biggest issue is all the mini games as there is to many going on and not enough energy to play them all so you miss out.

I like the game, but when I watch the ads to get energy etc off the dock, the ads freeze, giving only the option to install. there is an x, but no matter how many times you push it it stays until you close out the game. walmart ad works fine, farm heroes and another game ad steal my items, and they don't come back. I even tried the interactive part of the ad and it still won't close and give you your reward.

I like the game but I do not like all of the forced events and guild stuff. I do NOT want to join a stupid guild and I'm not seeing a way to continue playing for much longer without having to join one. So I guess my time playing the game is just about up. Too bad as I was enjoying the actual gameplay, but I will not join and I'm not paying to create my own guild.

Uggh! Ok, it starts out fun, you're having to go to different islands on the map and search for different things, butttt, once you're done, it's done. They have it looking like it could expand, and that there are other things to explore. They leave you hanging. And no plans to put different maps or expand the islands. 1 star very very disappointed.

Like most people, I'm frustrated with the lack of energy. Even with the cauldron and dog and the order sends, the energy to need ratio is way off. It's frustrating to play a game that you can only play for 5 minutes at a time. I would think that it would be in the developers best interest to keep the players playing for longer periods of time. Love the game.... Hate the constant wait times.

After playing this for months now, I've tried several different ways and farmed as hard as I could but no matter what, I always end up short on energy constantly. Im so tired of watching ads just to get 3 more steps on quests. I've bought keys and energy and no matter what, the energy is gone. Sadly, this is one of the more enjoyable games with a good storyline and pretty graphics but the amount of energy spent to go just a few steps is outrageous. Decrease the amount of energy to play please.

Definitely one of the best build-a-farm, grow-things, explore, and always be short on energy games. No forced ads, good/cute story. You do get requests for items you can't possibly provide yet and that fills up the delivery board. Events are way too short to accomplish based on energy requirements though, unless you spend A LOT. Biggest downside, minus a star. Sad to have to give up on those, so how about being a lot more reasonable on energy consumption there? Half that mess.

I like the game but since the last update it gets stuck. Right now I'm stuck and can't get back to the farm. It says to look for the door with levers, but I can't move around or do anything at all. The screen moves, but my character does not. Can't play at all...very disappointing..I don't want to have to uninstall as I am getting pretty far into the game...anyways to fix this?!

I feel like this could be a fun game & could hold my attention longer but....there are all these little tasks such a clearing a path that takes up a lot of energy. You run out of energy too fast & it takes a while to recoup. I'm getting bored with waiting & running out if energy so quick just clearing paths. It's quite annoying. Edit 2/3/23: will be deleting game as energy "cost" is just too high & you can't do very much after a couple seconds & clicks. It's boring. Moved from 3 stars.

This would be a really fun game, but dang. I've been trying to save up gold to buy a building but everytime I get close to $15,000, I have to rebuy animals that turned into fruit. WHY??? I feed them and still I'm buying animals every 2 days. And the energy cost is outrageous. I dont get to play the game alot, i do work so i miss out on the quests so i just stopped playing them. Between them and the game itself, theres no time and not enough energy and money.

I really like this game but ... as others have mentioned, the amount of energy used for each time you clear something is way too high. Now my game is frozen. On the top of the screen it says"There must be a passage nearby." The whole screen is dark except for a small spot where there is a blue lightning bolt from the Fennic fox. Please fix this. I can't even go to support in the game to let you know.

Game is fun and easy to play however there are a couple issues; 1. The energy requirements for the side quest is astronomically high, while I understand not wanting people to blaze through the levels, the way it is set up makes it almost impossible to get anything done. I.e. I have 50 count movement bar and in order to get to the next area I have to remove a rock or tree at a cost of 45 - 60 movement. 2. Item requirements for construction are hard to obtain I.e. Saw, dust, etc

It's really fun in the beginning. But then once your hooked. Then it gets to where you need more and more energy to to get through a level. And unless you have a lot of cash to burn. You can play 5-10min at a time. Then have to stop for a hour or so until your energy builds back up. Even with the little bit of free energy you find. It's not even close to being enough to pass anymore levels. It seems loyalty cost you when it comes to games.

Love the game. Don't like how hard it is to make needed items. I have been trying for a week to get the saws needed to make boards. Finally earned some and only got 2 of the 3 needed to be able to compete a building. I am losing interest in the game because of it and will end up deleting it soon if it takes another week of filling orders to get another saw. 2 weeks ago I would have given it 5 stars. Now, 3 stars is being nice. Update: dropped from 3 to 1 star Game stopped working completely .

Looks like it could be a decent distraction, but exploring /resource gathering takes too much energy, which is of course by design in the hopes you'll spend real cash to purchase more. I don't mind supporting a free game, and have, but this one feels like an energy grind. If energy needs in game were reduced or the regen of it sped up, that would help it not feel like a grind. A game I spend a lot of time in, I'm happy to support them with purchases, but grind makes me want to look elsewhere.

The reason I'm giving this a three (bc I do enjoy the game atm) is that the ads and description made it seem like there would be fun riddles and logic puzzles but all this is is another farming game. You're stuck on an island, build a farm, there's hidden sections of a map, etc. There's literally no logical or intelligence needed, and frankly it makes it boring fast. At least this company paid attention to the constant problem of not enough energy by giving options to get more, so that's nice.

Not like ad The ad says "are you tired of games that look so fun with all those puzzles,but when you download them they're nothing like the ad? This game isn't like that!" IT IS. 30 Mins in and it's just an annoying "clear path with energy" game. There isn't even background music. The only puzzle I got in that entire time was extremely obvious and brief, the rest was non stop clearing the path and incredibly boring.

Frustrating, This could be a really awesome game but as usual it gets greedy. Not enough energy, Not enough ways to grow the items needed to keep everything going and the energy required is to much so you dont get to play long enough to get anywhere. And where are the instructions on the other islands as to what you are supposed to be doing. Would be more fun to be able to play the game without having to keep stopping. Too many things going on at once for the energy you get. Have to PAY TO PLAY.
