I was really excited to use the app, but the first thing it showed me once i installed it was a 3 day free trial. Simple enough. I declined it not being interested, and the app refused to let me continue. It kept popping up a screen that said that i was going to subscribe to a monthly subscription which wasn't the case. This app wants nothing but money.
I downloaded this a long time ago and it was really good, it's a neat concept and would recommend this. BUT, after they add FREAKING SUBSCRIPTION and 7.99 per week to just use the app. Really!? No. In fact did you know that there is a thing called PUTTING ADDS IN THE APP. Like think about it, you need to watch an to unlock a song or ad will play every once in a while. Or, the most annoying option, an ad banner, plus you have other apps to make money off of, so why the subscription? Greedsmart...
Honestly it's great. the timing, the sounds, the different packs, is the only reason this gets 2 stars. but if you skip the subscription and back out of the first pack that automatically comes up and try a different one, you get infinite loading screen for a pop up window inside the app with no way of getting out of it except closing it. So i hope the developers fix this cuz I was wanting to make a cool song without having to pay some stupid monthly payment. For a quality app.
This app isn't perfect -- what is?-- but it's really a lot of fun. After finding so many Android sequencer apps that are more or less the same, it's refreshing to find one that's wildly different. After getting your drum patterns down, you can try out (improvise) parts for the other tracks until you find something you're happy with, and so on. So cool to grow your song from scratch instead of just choosing from different pre-made tracks to combine. Cheers to the development team!
When I opened the app I just wanted to try the free stuff but kept asking me to join free trial and pay 7.99 per WEEK after 3 days I think that's ridiculous, that's more than Netflix subscription, per month would of been ok. But now I feel forced, because I didn't ok the trial, but it gave it to me anyway when I tried to go to the free stuff.
I hate anything that shows up as free in the app store and then we'll try to charge you in the app. It's such a terrible way of doing things and it kind of annoyed that this out of me when I downloaded it. They're expecting $8 a month for sample beats you could get off of youtube. You can't actually do anything in the app you have to pay $7.99.
I like the app and as someone that remixes music it will save me hours of work! This does not replace basic music theory, etc so without that it's merely a toy but still fun. One issue that I'm having is that in the unpaid version you go through different levels (like a game which I really don't care for, just let me learn everything at once) and it seems like things pause with nothing happening. Then you have to go back and redo a certain level. Something is kind of wacky...
The app is fun, but the devs have no clue on how respond to problems when reported. I got a new phone and number so I needed to reset my password since I forgot the one I created but I've sent 3 emails over the course of 4 months and haven't received any type of response and I'm even a paying customer so I can't imagine those who use it for free would have to do if they had an issue.
Couldn't create my own beat with free version, have to use someone else's stem I guess to play with the pattern. Ads are crazy, too pricy for the simple formula of this app. As a beat maker myself I thought it would be koo to have an app where I could lay my ideas down for later but I can't do that here. Of the trialbwas actually functional as to what the "VIP" subscription based profuct would be then that would be great. I think the trial version is it's full capability, needs work,1 Star firm
I love this app! Has so many beats and they are really cool. Also if you're having trouble with the payment screen, if you go to the bottom of the screen there is a button that says "skip to a free version with ads". Yes there is ads, but that's how you get to the free version instead of paying 49.99. Hoped it helped!
It really isn't all that hard to swip up and down, left and right. It is quite interesting to mess around with, however it offers very little and requires you to spend 50 dollars, even if it is anual, to unlock stuff you are probably never going to be interested in. To make something easy on the ears, just swipe around randomly until you get something that sounds good enough and call it a day. I can't even save my tracks to my own files without creating an account. No thanks peeps. Too many ads.
Literally unplayable unless you pay. If you don't pay then whenever you try to loadup a music pack it'll just load forever. And with the levels. It's cool but honestly a waste of space for the game considering that once you complete a level the game will glitch out and the only way to fix it is to exit out and lose the progress you made. Other than those game breaking bugs it's good app nothing too special from all the others. Although I wasn't even really able to test it out. 2 star 4 potential
Using the free version and at first it was really good but the more I use it, the worse the input lag gets. It's becoming more and more hard to create anything with the lag. Playing on a Samsung s22 so there shouldn't be any problems. Makes me worry about committing to the paid version. Hopefully it gets fixed. Otherwise it's a great app.
So, its a fun app, but it's too limiting. If you really want to make music on it it's very constricting. My biggest issue is that you can't change the timed loops, pressuring you into fitting your chords in the time slots, and it makes it very difficult to match them up with everything else. Also rather than having everything at your disposal, you have work in packs, further limiting what you can do. It's pretty good but it should be better.
It's a cool app, but I'm certain it's not worth the £30 annual subscription fee. I might have kept it longer and played around a bit more if I wasn't going to get charged £30 in 3 days, for something I'd struggle to spend a fiver on. Edit: the developer reply below is FALSE, I couldn't use the app at all without signing up for the 3 day trial, that automatically rolls on to charge you £30 after that period. Revised 1 star for dishonest response
Didn't even get to try it, for fear of getting a $15 per week charge for the subscription. I guess this is how you make your money. It's pretty shady to start charging $15 per week, as many users wouldn't have picked up on the barely visible text and forgot about this app on their phone, and then get charged. What many other apps do, is provide a free, no commitment service, and then charge for the "premium" content. IMHO, this app feels like a scam. UNINSTALLED.
This app was an app that I would always use in my spare time but then the new update came and now you need PRO to save music?! All the music that I saved on my profile before the update won't even play because I don't have PRO! Also, I had recordings of 3 of my songs saved. I don't know if they will work probably not! I understand that you need to make money but now you took away 50% of the fun!!!!
It's a fun little app but doesn't come anywhere near being worth 8.49 EVERY SINGLE WEEK! Not monthly, weekly. Come on that's pretty ridiculous. As is I wouldn't consider it unreasonable to expect that as a 1 time payment to simply buy it rather than a subscription but seeing as it gets worked on and updated a yearly or monthly subscription at a push would be acceptable but they're charging people almost £40 a month for something you could realistically pull off with a free soundboard app.
What kind of rubbish is this? I can't even open the app because I don't want to pay 600RAND per MONTH, that's way to expensive!!! After 11 month of playing that I could buy a brand new good quality LAPTOP! I can't even use the 3 day trial because I have to sign to pay after! Terrible system! It I could go lower than 2 star I would.
This app is great! Even though I have to watch ads everytime to use a premium pack, its always totally worth it. I have practically no experience in music or beats, except I know how to play piano. This has helped me make sick beats/songs and the cool part is thet that there's a variety of drums, basses, melodies, and chords to choose from in certain packs. I just made another cool beat using this app, (venu$ flytrrap) and I absolutely recommend it. 5 Stars!!😁
