Adding to my review. Now for five days I've had catogories repeating almost every game. Opera and ballet and geography have shown up in almost all of my games all three of them in every game! Switch it up!!I spent money and they still won't let me play. Every time I try it says I dont have enough. And the categories are always the same to much sports and geography and Shakespeare! Yet I still spend a lot of money to play. I don't know why I let myself get suckered into playing.Very expensive.
decently enjoyable trivia game, except for the part where I keep getting ads that insist on opening the Google play store resulting in the game sometimes resetting back to the main menu after closing said Google play store app. this would not be so bad if I didn't also lose out on rewards every time it happens. for example, one such ad played before showing the results of final jeopardy as usual, but when I closed down the play store and got back to the game it was like the match never happened.
The ads are excessive. The number of free games you can play daily is super low. I love the show, but I can't sit through more than 15 minutes of this game. I simply don't have time to watch through all these ads. My time is valuable. I don't mind paying to get rid of the ads. With the ads this game is completely unplayable, unless you believe that watching a 1 minute ad every 3 minutes of the game is a good way to spend your time.
Needs more diverse categories. Half the time its Shakespeare or theater. One star until they put the tiniest shred of effort into pulling from the 40 years of categories on the TV show. I love Jeopardy and have been playing on multiple different consoles over the years, all of which have produced a better product so we know it can be done.
Game is fun, BUT...... the ads you have to watch were just an annoyance, but now every time they force you to watch one (going from one round to another or before and after Final Jeopardy), it crashes the game. They don't credit all you've spent, and it goes back to the start screen every time. The ads force you to go to Google Play, and when you try to go back to the game, it loses all progress and you've wasted all the time & 'money' to start all over. It's a major bug & there has been no fix.
I like the game itself, but the ads are so interruptive, I can't play... there's an ad for another game that commandeers my phone & gives me no way to escape. I literally have to crash the app & reopen it to keep playing, and then I've lost the round I was in the middle of. if that were fixed, it would be enjoyable.
I really used to like this. But the ads are getting out of control! Ads between rounds should be short, if at all. There are more ads than ever! Feels lately like I spend just as much time sitting through them as I do playing the game. If that doesn't change soon, will stop wasting my time. And I really think there is some "deceptive" programming going on behind the scenes. No longer feels like random and honest competition.
Confusing, and Have to pay to play - over and over. I got lost in a sea of collection points, gems, "money", etc. And it quickly became apparent that to really compete, you need an endless supply of gold bars... which cost real honeat-to-god money. It adds up! I liked the pure Jeopardy gameplay, but everything around it is too confusing and expensive. Deleted.
Decent game. Constant notifications make it a pain in the ass. Also, the fact that your opponents are able to buy clue hints, wrong answer elimination, daily double finding, daily double redos when you're wrong, etc... make this less appealing since you'd want to be on an even playing field in the games, which, unless you buy hints/etc, you aren't.
I enjoy the game alot but my money doesn't recharge fast enough to keep playing. I don't like when I play a certain cost for a game then you win, but it doesn't cover what it cost you. I recently achieved an milestone in the game and was supposed to win more gold never happened. I messaged to see if it could be fixed. Nobody could help. They wanted the day it happened the time and a screenshot. I sent a message the day it happened and still nobody would help me. They have no issues taking my $$.
Was a huge fan, but now they've changed the accessibility of the free game by greatly reducing the hourly money amounts the bank gives out to play. I am the type where I will spend my money on upgrades once playing, not paying for the ability to play to begin with. It's a blatant cash grab on their part, which is understandable, but it's not fair to reduce the amount of playability once it is given. Disappointed and will be playing other games that allow playing initially for free, instead.
Ugh what's happened to games? Years ago I had such an awesome, simple jeopardy app, I think I paid a few bucks for and then more for additional questions. No ads, lots of categories, full board. I was expecting this to be like that. Its not... it's very flashy, more focused on the theme than the game itself. Huge disappointment I hope we get another good one someday. I'd pay!
I don't like leaving reviews, but it gets annoying having a lot of "money" and spending up to 40k or more in a single game only for you to win and still not get a great reward, even if you win, you just get 1/4 of what you spend! The questions are fine and game in general, but I don't like that when you win, you get very little reward price back plus all the ads.
I absolutely loved Jeopardy, the show. So I was excited to find this app, but it is frustrating. So many pop ups! (Meaning distractions within the game, not ads.) Sometimes, you can't figure out how to get to a game and actually play. Then, each game costs coins, so when you're out of your initial coins or if you don't have enough of them, you can't play. So basically, there's no free version of this game. You must spend money on coins to play.
The game itself is fun! However the game is overpriced. The price that they are charging for gold bars is way too much then you factor in that you have to use gold bars to get cash. The game in it of itself is a rip off. If you're gonna download them download use the free stuff and uninstall because the prices are not even close to inline with other games.
Cash Grab. The in-game economics are unsustainable. Even when you win a lot, the rewards are often less than the buy-in, leaving you to bleed in-game currency very quickly. You will quickly get to a point where you want to play and can't with the only option being to spend large amounts of money to play. Im normally ok with micro transaction based games as long as they are fun and not outrageously expensive. The cost to play can also be absurd. $20-$30 can dissapear in less than an hour.
Great game, when you're actually playing. The ads and constant "events"(that are just thinly veiled ways to shove more micro transactions in your face) are just ridiculous. And the "vip" that gets rid of ads is intentionally confusing and misleading. A simple "pay $__ to get rid of ads" would be fine, but it of course uses some in app currency you have to buy and then there's "levels" and it's all just needlessly complicated for a trivia game.
I love this game. There are so many categories and they're updated often that I rarely get a duplicate. It definitely learns what categories you are good at and vice versa. Very addictive! You need to be smart and patient to accumulate money, much easier in the upper levels. Why does the game keep asking me to do a review to move forward when I've already done so?! Still a great game! Again it's making me rate the game to get daily rewards, annoying.
I played this game for several years, got to level 101, yesterday I get some odd message from them, and find I was logged out of the game, I logged back in, and found everything gone, all the game money, and I was back at the beginning. I contacted "customer service", they gave me some confusing stuff about logging out of FB and logging back in and all my stuff will be back. Nope. Then they said they cannot fix my problem. If there was a lower rating, I would give this game that rating .
zero stars. don't spend money on this app. As you advance in levels, they charge you more to play. When you get to a high tier level, the bank stops accruing your money, even though you paid for it. They then will give you coins as a "fix" rather than fixing the game, and the coins aren't even enough to play another round when one game costs 20 million to play. it's ridiculous. A total scam and horrible customer service.
