Jewel Sliding® - Block Puzzle

Game is good, ads are everywhere. Ads between games are 30 seconds to a minute, and if you try to skip you'll wind up at the Play Store. There are also ads to activate certain blocks as well that you constantly have to close. If you play on airplane mode you don't get any ads which is nice, but otherwise you're inundated with ads. If there was a one time option to buy I would and would probably rate higher, but I can't take all the ads.

this game has the potential to be great but it isn't. the point of this game is to slide the pieces around to create a full row, which then eliminates the row, so the pieces don't reach the top of the board. unfortunately, if you remove several lines in one turn, which should be the point of the game, the game cheats & adds several rows back on instead of adding one row per turn, so you never have a chance to clear the board entirely. it really limits the amount of points you can get.

The game is enjoyable, calming and - as others have stated a great time waster. However, after playing it for a couple of weeks, I also find it frustrating: The distribution of rows one gets varies widely and you only see one raw ahead. This results little learning or "getting better at the puzzle." A high score for me seems to depend 30% on my performance and 70% on the luck of which rows show next. It would be better, for example, if I could tackle the same order of rows repeatedly.

I enjoy the gameplay, but lately ads have started opening by themselves. I'll be in the middle of a game with my phone on the table, and it'll open an ad unprompted, as if it was clicked. There's also zero way to give this feedback in app. Edit: ads have gotten worse, removing a star. Awful.

DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS GAME! They are aware ads have ruined it. But they don't care since it "keeps them going". I stuck with this game for a long time. I finally uninstalled it. It used to be my go to game but sadly the ads have taken over and made it so you have to watch 30-45 seconds of ads to play a game that last maybe 1 minute. They definitely adjusted things so you can barely Crack 100k for a score. Force all kinds of power ups and side quests. More ads. This game is ruined.

i used to love it, but unless im mistaken it used to be one continuous level, eliminate lines until you couldn't anymore, and that was fun to see how long you could go, but now, the level ends just as its getting good it seems and then starts over, its less of a challenge. also the ads are way more than before and they are glitchy, I dont see an option to pay to remove ads, which I would do, but would have rather done for the original version anyway.

This is an updated review. Re-downloaded this game, still a very entertaining game idea but is now borderline unplayable. The only help is a yellow brick which, if you get it into a line, it gives you the option of watching an ad, & if you do, it erases every brick in the puzzle that's the same color. The problem is, when you watch the ad, it freezes the game! I will not be playing this game again, which is a shame, because it's a good game

There are just entirely too many ads. After every single attempt, after every single PowerUp acquire, ads everywhere! I understand companies need to make money, but you also need to retain a player base, and this is not the way to do it. I got so fed up I'm deleting the game, which is very upsetting considering I had a lot of fun playing.

There are too many ads! I played this game for a long time and then I forgot about it for awhile. I came back to it this week and the ads are ridiculous now! The change is so dramatic that I thought i must have paid to go ad-free and somehow lost my login. unfortunately, I went through my records and that is not the case. They must have just added a TON of ads now. Likely going to uninstall very soon if not changed back.

Game is okay, but too easy to lose (read other reviews). Also, not what the ad was advertising. It is annoying to me, though, throughout the game when a specific type of block (firestone) that it offers to watch ads to get the benefit of it. Already enough ads with one after each game. Also, with all of the ads, has the banner ad at the bottom also. You have lost me quickly because just as much time is spent watching ads as playing the game.

I really do enjoy playing this game and I play it almost daily. It's only getting such a low rating because it has so many ads, and there is no option to buy a way out from under them. You will ALWAYS have ads. It's one thing if you are stuck and want to use one to get yourself out of a bind, but it's another when you get one to start a level, end a level, start a new level AND to get out of a bind. Option to buy, please (and not $10, either, lots of levels for ads to make money).

Absolutely nothing like the ad. I have figured out the 3 main rules for making game ads. 1. Show incredible graphics, much better than the players will ever see. 2. Embellish the storyline, make it look really fun, and interesting. 3. Make it look like the dumbest human on the planet is playing it. This will create a false sense of superiority, i.e., "I am so much better". This is just another fake ad game. Deleted

Entertaining game, too many long ads. I really enjoy this game, but an ad after every level is excessive. Some ads are skippable within 10 or so seconds, but the majority are 45+ seconds. I wish there were a lot of ad free option for a few dollars. An undo option would be nice as well, even if it's limited (can't make it too easy!) I enjoy the extra challenge modes that add more to the game.

The game is fun, but the ads are too frequent in some modes and too long all the way around. Some of them are a full minute, most are at least 30 seconds, and almost all require several clicks to get out of them. If you're on a difficult level or breezing through them (ads whether you win or lose a level), you might spend more time watching ads than you do playing. It's a shame, and now I remember why uninstalled the first time.

WAY TOO MANY ADS! Play less than a minute then you have to watch an ad for a new block then repeat the process. No ad free option. Just a block game nothing special and definitely not worth the aggressive ads. I uninstalled after about 30 minutes. I appreciate you responded & show genuine interest in improving your app. I understand the need for ads/revenue, but it's counter productive when they prevent people from playing. The ads are far too aggressive. Please rethink alternatives. Good luck!

False Advertising. This game is running ads, some of which even let you play along, for what is essentially a completely different game. The game in the ad had a much more soothing and aesthetically pleasing skin, very high quality graphics and seemed like a good game for relaxing. The actual game has much lower quality graphics and a completely different theme, neon tetris colors and a distracting bearded space man staring at you. I wanted the pretty, soothing game in the ad. Where is that?

Love the game! Hate the ads! Really, they're not that bad. Only pop up when you fail & the fire brick, which shouldn't, because it's a game feature. There's no way to purchase the game to remove ads. I've been looking back at the previous comments & lots of people want a premium version. I understand ads to get rid of stacks if you fail or certain power-ups. In all honesty, I don't like ads, especially on the Play Store, because they're so misleading. So plz we want a premium version!

Ads play longer than the game during gameplay. I enjoyed playing, even with an ad between EVERY LEVEL, but they took it to an unacceptable level with the ads during gameplay. Atrocious and despicable. Zero stars of it were an option. The game graphics are nothing like the advertisement which nearly prompted me not to play at all. Not an honest way to gain downloads.

It was pretty fun, challenging myself to get a higher and higher score, but the game really fell off after they introduced the fire block. The block generation will sack you with truly unwinnable stacks. Then it slides you a fire block to get rid of all the blocks of the same color, but only if you watch an ad first. Before the fire block update, I got a high score of 64,000. After the update, I haven't gotten anywhere close.

Although I appreciate that this game is the only one that actually increases a level as advertised, the 4 or 5 mini games are obnoxious and all the same. You only get 60 seconds to complete it but there are stationary bricks you have to go around. There's no way to get the guy across the bridge unless you're doing like every single move as a full row. I'm bored trying to pass the impossible mini game and it's making me bored of the whole thing. And SO MANY ADS! Every time you lose.. AD.
