Ads are not intrusive. This app works very well for the purpose for which it was intended... synchronizing JDM radio controlled watches that are not within range of the Japanese atomic clock radio transmitters. Easy to use and in my case I synchronize in less than 3 minutes. Two things: the app synchronizes the time on your watch to the time on your smartphone. And as a result of how the app works you could still be a second or so off from "true time".

This app does what it says perfectly! I want to advise the developer to unify his other time sync apps into one for the benefit of all. Luckily for me, I'm in the JST Time zone most of the time so this works perfectly as is for me. I was going to complain that time was off by 1 second, but it turns out my phone's clock was not perfectly synced to JJY.

I fell in love with the table top SEIKO clocks in Japan so much so that I got my own, it always made me sad that I couldn't sync it automatically when daylight saving hits. So I woke up today thinking there was to be a way, I googled and found this. And it worked perfectly by using headphones near the clock and pressing the WAVE button. I am beyond impressed that it actually did work. Used the Fukushima setting. So if anyone has any Japanese clocks that aren't wrist watches it indeed does work for them.

This is the best for JJY clocks!! A few years ago I bought some very nice Casio clocks sold only in Japan, but they were only made for the Japanese market and only could use JJY. Even if I could at times get the JJY 40 signal, it would set my clock to JST. Now I can buy these nice clocks from Amazon.jp and your app will set my clock using JJY emulator to my Galaxy S9's clock. Thank you for a very nice app! 👍 Update: I tried a out few others apps and while they might do the same thing, they miss details like the correct date or the server they use is 2 seconds off. So in the end, your app does the best job.

This amazing free App allows your Atomic Clock Watch to receive the emulated signal of the transmitter synced to your smart phone (mine is an android), to have the most accurate time. NOTE: My watch resides in the middle of the largest Ocean and does not receive the typical over the air signal from the various World atomic type clocks (ones that transmit the time signal to watches). My watch is from Japan, I used this signal from Japan. Put watch on phone speaker loud for 1 day, it works.

I thought it was a malware until i figure it works. it works flawless. I am unable to receive atomoc signal at mu location, i almost gave up my G-Shock, then spent few hours reseach and found this awesome app. I tried US and Japan version, both of them are working as long as you select the right country code.

Works excellent, I find If I put metal under watch it helps reciever in watch. One issue is it uses local time and some watches ⌚️ know the region and will not receive unless set to Tokyo area. App needs option to broadcast Tokyo JJY time. Then when finished rest to non JJY time zone. Work around is to then manually adjust hour on watch after it has updated.

I bought a Citizen PMD56 radio controlled watch that was a Japan Domestic Product. I live in the US and obviously can't receive the Japan atomic clock transmissions. The watch arrived set to Tokyo time, 13 hours ahead. This app was totally trouble free and perfectly easy. The only problem I had was figuring out how to set the watch in reception mode. Once I did, I left my phone and the watch sitting together and the time, day and date reset to correspond with the settings on my phone. Thank you!

Thank you for this. I was able to set my Citizen PMD56 with this app first time, to my local time zone. Just set the watch up to receive and open the app. It took about 5 minutes with the watch nested in one side of a pair of headphones. Other apps I tried either didn't work, or set the time to Japan local time without correcting for my time zone, forcing me to use the second time zone function of the watch to +2hrs. No such issue here. Perfect for your JDM needs.

There is no atomic signal in my country (Philippines), so I've always wondered how to sync my watch (Citizen AT8124) to atomic time. Finally, this is the app that made it happen! Set my phone location to Tokyo, then set my watch timezone to Tokyo, then ran this app at 40 kHz with the earphones tied around my watch I manually turned on the sync and voila! Thank you so very much, this app is the real deal! Just not sure if this uses the phone's time or NTP time. Junghans mega app uses NTP time, jfyi.

I've had difficulty to sync my 15 year old casio at first, but setting to the Fukushima one with maximum volume and putting the smartphone and the watch in a box with rid on for 5 minutes did a trick! Thanks alot for the app!

App sets Citizen Attesa watch 1 hour forward in SYD/Australia, phone TZ is good (UTC+10), time shown by phone and app is good, watch SMT is OFF and watch TZ set to SYD (which uses JPN beacon). When I rarely get the real signal from Japan I don't have this issue, looks like emulator is sending UTC+1 or it converts from SYD to UTC to JAPAN and mucks up the maths.Out of 3 JJY emulators I have tried, the watch detects and sets from the signal quickest using this app, but it needs the TZ bug fixed.

I have a Citizen Ecodrive Skyhawk that my wife gave to me years ago as a birthday present. I had to send it in for repairs, but I wanted to have a watch that would be atomic time as well. I found a Citizen Promaster Land PMD-2952 for a good price, but it's a Japan time (atomic) only watch. I worried about getting it updated until i found this app. The app has performed brilliantly! I've been able to set my watch to US time every time change with no problems. Thank you!

, radio waves and sound waves are fundamentally different. Radio waves are electromagnetic waves, which can travel through a vacuum, while sound waves are mechanical waves that require a medium like air to travel. Radio waves are too quiet for humans to hear, requiring special devices like radios to convert them into audible sound, whereas we can directly hear sound waves

Works as described but could be better! Add a timezone offset feature to change the hours without having to change the Android system time - even better if it can auto detect the phones location and then apply the appropriate time offset.

Perfect for Casio OVW-100BJ Calibre 3721 in Europe. Default settings, high volume on smartphone, speaker placed over the "9" worked fine. (Make sure the analog hands are correctly aligned before using, otherwise the displayed time will be wrong despite correct reception.)

Worked perfect for me in the Netherlands. Didn't need to fiddle with any settings, just lay my watch down on the top speaker of my Pixel 2XL and let it do its thing for a few minutes.

For almost 1 year this app worked perfectly for me until around December 2020. When I synchronize my Casio Lineage watch I get the message that synchronization was done correctly but the time on my watch is exactly 12 seconds behind correct time. What could be the problem? As I am in Australia there is no other way to synchronize my watch.

It work great sync via default speaker A50 to my Gwm5610 multi band 6, only took few minutes. I am from Malaysia, it does the trick to default the watch to TYO time without problem switching back to HKK, but i wonder why it has obvious delay by milliseconds when compare to other Atomic watch App?

App works great! Able to sync my Atomic Watches accordingly. However its trouble to keep changing the TimeZone to do so. Would appreciate if developer can actually release a BPY Emulator.
