As a 49-year-old woman, I found JobGet extremely helpful. It's simple and efficient, especially for hourly jobs. I appreciated the instant chat feature, allowing direct communication with employers. Creating my profile was a breeze, and applying for jobs took just a few clicks. While it's excellent for local, hourly roles, I noticed the options for higher-skilled positions were somewhat limited. Overall, a great app for quick job searches, but the job variety may vary based on your location. 4.5
JobGet had a couple of good jobs on their site, though some seemed fishy. Meaning, a job would reach out to you, with no location, no pay rate, and no job description. But say, they'd like an interview. Also, when trying to find a job in your location, it automatically gathers jobs in different cities than what you asked for. Even if I try to input my location. I think is just a small flaw.
So far the app is okay. I feel it doesn't really give me too many options for hiring areas near me, or even remote work. As I was creating my profile it asked for my past work experience to personalize a thread for me for potential jobs, and none of them that were shown were anywhere near my qualifications, so it's a letdown really. At this point, job searching is like searching for a needle in a haystack, near, if not, impossible! I'll give it another shot, and hope I get something!
So far, so good. Haven't landed anything yet, but there are a decent amount of job postings from various platforms. Easy to apply/send resumes, the UI is better than many others I've seen, especially some of the web based job boards. I will say that if you have strict boundaries due to transportation/whatever, it's a little difficult to know if you're within your zone unless you do a Maps search to locate the business. And many of the postings are older, so possibly filled/inactive.
The app is well organized. However, it does not memorize my settings (distance), nor does it go back to the last search. Instead, once you want to look for another job posting you will have to adjust settings from the begining, and you'll have to memorize the last job search to continue searching 🤷🏼 Too bad, bcs it looked more user-friendly than Indeed at the begining.
This is by far the best job app I've used! Everything is working smoothly, and it was much easier setting up my resume. They helped work me through each of the steps without ANY confusion. Although there isn't a huge selection of jobs (at least in my area ) that hire under 18. But besides that, this is a great app! Would %100 percent recommend if you're looking for a start to your career. 😝💓much love and good luck to you all.
I LOVE IT! It's super simple, easy to use ,has a lot of job offers near your area and it shows everything you need to know in the description. It also doesn't have you doing all this run around clicking and filling out a whole bunch of stressful stuff. I literally applied to a job in 3 clicks no exaggeration. It's even better than indeed. I highly recommend!
I've had trouble finding jobs for at least a little over a year now. I was doing random things on my phone when an ad of this app popped up. I decided to try and oh my goodness. This app has helped me with finding a new job. Exploring my working experiences. They even have little side hustles you can do. You can customize howuch you'd like to get paid. This app is easy to manage, I got the hang of it really quickly. If you're looking for a job, download this app!!
Was getting stuck with the job searches on a couple other certain apps so downloaded this and have already found a few more things to apply for in just a couple days time. Which brings me to the fact that applying for jobs is very simple as well. The app is nice and user friendly and making your profile is easy. The only thing I wish is that there was a way to save like a list of places you've applied to. Unless there is and I just haven't found it!
I enjoy the interface and the different parts of the app. The only thing I remember having annoyances with was setting up my profile. I wished I could just set up a profile to browse, not to put myself out there immediately. Other than that, I really enjoy seeing what pops up in my area, as well as the side gigs! Closer to a 4 and ½ stars!
I just started using this app, atm it's skeptical. The $100 they mention is only a chance at winning it. Furthermore, you have to give your email and sign up on Instagram to see if you're a winner. Not many including myself should have to sign up for a social app they don't want, only to for a chance to win money. They have some job listing, but I'm only looking for temp jobs for extra income. So far, this app doesn't seem to provide that
My personal experience has not been a good one with JobGet. The worst part was the app had kept notifying me someone wanted to schedule an interview, someone is interested but I must complete my profile when it is already an all-star profile and all the information has been provided. Because of this, the employer is unable to personally contact me and any opportunities I had have now been lost. I tried support - no response. Tried to fix it myself, nothing is clear. No longer use this app.
What a find! This app was recommended to me by the Google play store and I couldn't be happier to be introduced to it! As someone who's currently in the market for a new job, this app has been a lifesaver. You can filter by salary, posting date, and distance! The postings are diverse and recent. You can find local positions (skilled or not) and apply easily. Amazing app!
This app delivered in a big way... I was unemployed long enough for it to be tough to jump back into the workforce. I tried out a ton of familiar sounding job listing apps - all the same. JobGet is what I've been wanting for so long. Makes it so easy to apply to jobs. One click. Enter your basic info once and that's it. They'll even whip up a resume for you! After 2 weeks, I had several jobs contact me and 2nd interview I went on I got the job! I owe it to JobGet!
Worthless app as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely no day gigs despite it's mention on Google ads. Edit: after receiving a response from dev about the "many blue collar job opportunities", I sent them an email asking how to see the day gigs since I am still not seeing a single one. I never received a response. These guys are full of it. Moving on....
Update,!! 12-30-2024. I applied for warehouse jobs, nothing comes up.!! It's unbelievable how an app and it's people are so damn hard to communicate with. Sitting in front of behind a computer and it's monitor is unprofessional, disturbing and disrespectful. !! Everyone makes mistakes but to not allow access to customer service is shady and wasting people's time.
New to the app. Got a notification that they had a job I might be interested in. It was for a delivery driver, thought I'd check it out. I was rerouted to a different job. I tried it 3 times, all 3 times I was rerouted. Then I see at the top it even says it's rerouting me. The job it rerouted me to is a job that requires a degree and it doesn't say training provided. I don't mind if I'm rerouted to a similar job. These jobs were not even close to interchangeable. That's not even helpful
Honestly, and I use a lot, this is the best job platform I've ever used. It is the easiest to fill out information with, and the way to communicate to employers is so much easier compared to platforms such as Indeed or Ziprecruiter. I love how it even shows options for extra $$$! I have recommended this app to over 10 of my friends and they've all loved it so far. Good job, developers! 10/10
I've tried loads of gig work apps and job search listing apps, and honestly, not sure why JobGet isn't getting alot of attention it deserves. It's pretty impressive, like really impressive. Featuring a wide range of services "all-in-one": displaying a range of different job listings, quick gig work, and other means of extra income. They also includes reviews of job/companies and ways to better advance your skillset. Plus the UI is pretty slick. Really go with JobGet; save a lot of time and money
So far, the app is easy to manage and is showing me more relevant jobs than Indeed. I like the organization of the app, like the different tabs at the bottom and the straight-forward filters. I wish I could have a map or search by zip code because I'm trying to find a job near where I live. Maybe this app has that feature but I haven't found it yet, so my only advice so far would be to make that a little more visible and easy to find. But overall, I like this app.
