App is easy to use, and produces a full body work out, just like other free ones. However, there is a series of questions that ask about injuries (you can only pick one) and if there is any workouts you can not do like Jumping. I can not jump, so I chose that option. Over half of my very first work out was Jumping. Why ask questions to tailor my workout if your not going to tailor the workout?
I just started with this app today, and I have several problems with it: -There is no free trial to see if it is a good fit. -The price is not given until you have gone through all of the questions. -The exercises are not at all like the ones in the ad. -I chose the "No jumping" option, but the very first workout had three jumping exercises! -The starting level is too hard for me, with no option to adjust. -I would like to cancel my subscription, but I don't see a way to get a refund.
The workouts were good, decently paced. The ad I saw for it said it was completely free. I finished the first three days of exercises, and once I hit day 4, it wouldn't let me enter the workout. It kept giving me ads for coupons, and wouldn't let me continue unless I paid. Not something I would continue with if the same workouts can be found on youtube for free.
I kept seeing this ad and it looked great. finally paid for the 12 week plan expecting to be able to use justfit. boy was i wrong. when I hit pay, I got an error message saying I wouldn't be charged. checked my bank account and the charge was right there. I got no confirmation email, no personalized plan, nothing. emailed support and included a screenshot showing the charge. they responded by asking me for a confirmation email that I never got, and telling me different ways to get a refund! SCAM
NOT A GAMIFIED experience as shown in social media ads! I've confirmed with the support team. If you saw an ad that looks like you get guided prompts and points when you move- this app doesn't do that! It does have good workout routines you can choose to follow along with. Just don't expect what you see in the ads. Also, you don't know this until you pay for the subscription. No free trial.
Free...for 3 days. Then, STUCK! I didn't mind the ads and really can't take on another monthly payment right now so I was HOPING to get something to motivate me to exercise. First 3 days were AWESOME! A quick 10 minute workout made me feel energized. However, once I reached Day 4, I couldn't even start the workout. I would click Start, get an ad (per usual), only this time after I closed the ad, I just circled right back to the Start button. This went on and on and on! Streak is gone now :,(
I am really upset with this app. My phone broke. I switched phones....logged in and all my settings and training is gone. Thanks for reaching out. I sent an email. I do edit reviews as things change. More issues with the app. I can't get a bed/sitting workout.. no matter what setting I use. had to uninstall and make a guest account. Still couldn't get bed/sitting for higher level. I had to start over again. I need more laying/sitting intensity... doesn't look like that's going to happen.
There is no way to cancel the subscription to this app. As mentioned by others, it appears to be free until you sign up, then it is impossible to cancel. I have sent several emails saying I want to cancel.. started to send the emails the day I subscribed, this is almost day 6 No Answer. Don't do it... too many free apps out there to be tied into perpetuity with this app.
The biggest problem I have is I have a lot of physical damage, and while the app gives you a decent amount of options (shoulder, lower back, elbow, shoulder, etc) you can only choose one. Also I put my weight and physical limitations and the app and it definitely thinks I'm more fit than I am. I do love that you can see the time of each excersize, and watch the person do it before the time starts. Easy to pause, easy to skip excersize you can't physically do.
I really like the idea of this app! The workouts are short, easy, & convenient for home. At first I was pleasantly surprised that it appeared I didn't have to pay unless I wanted a personalized plan. Unfortunately, as of Day 4, it won't let me continue unless I pay. While the price is only just over $2/mo, right now I can barely afford my bills, so I can't justify the cost. Originally I was planning to subscribe once I could budget for it, but this feels like a bait+switch; pretty disappointed..
1st- the workouts are great, easy for beginners or just starting back up after awhile! But, there is no mention of a free trial. When I downloaded it, it was showing as a free app with options to purchase. Yet after 3 days it just stopped allowing me to start my workout and it didn't say anything about it being locked or needing to purchase the full version. So, it's just really annoying.
Be very careful as you may just be taking a peek at the trial and accidentally sign up for a full year like I did. Now I'm using it out of spite. Things I don't like: you can't edit your preferences for floor only/no weights/no jumping, only target areas and injuries. Some exercises are only done on one side of the body but you have to remember to switch left and right (there are some that note left and right and many that don't). It's a basic video queue and a timer it does what it needs to do.
I am taking away 1 star for the app itself. Not the workouts. I LOVE THEM. The app doesn't let you edit anything. For example, if I ended my workout 2 minutes after midnight it counts if for the next day and won't let you do the next workout. I am on a weird schedule sometimes. Also, if it changes what you did, you can't edit it at all. Or if you don't save and continue right after (and your phone goes to sleep) the app restarts and removes what you just did as far as the workout plan goes.
The download is free, but then there's a 7 day trial into a subscription. Feels like the add saying it's "free" was a cheap trick. I was expecting a limited free function. Easy to make the subscription for more types of tracking, custom plans, other lifestyle trackers, ad remover, etc to be unlocked if paid. However, you can't access the plan it makes at all without doing the subscription. Sad to see they're using the "hope they forget to cancel method" here.
The sound balance for the voice over is all over the place, turning music off helps. Other main problem is that there are one-sided exercises that skip the other side, maybe I'll just use the repeat option when it happens. I'm on day 9 and it's already happened twice. It would be nice to have a "halfway there" on some of the longer/intense ones. Workout itself is pretty good despite the challenges.
***NOT for all fitness levels!*** I also don't recommend this app for anyone with mobility issues. Just use the exercises that show up on the ad and skip the rest. I have MS & my doctors say I'm in pretty good shape, but more exercise is always good. I saw the ads for "Lazy Girl" workouts, which all looked good for me, but all the exercises require a level of mobility I don't have.
So the app and concept is great- there are easy exercises you can do while sitting or laying down with helpful tutorials. However, after day 3, suddenly it won't let you do them without getting a subscription. It says nothing about the days being locked for premium members, just that suddenly when you click on them you have to buy a subscription or you can't go forward. Good app, not great that you have to pay suddenly without notice.
It was more work than how it looked. It looked simple but the repetitive exercise sets working on different muscle groups was very effective for a great workout. I like there are built in rest moments, the option to turn off the background music, and a preview of the next exercise with a count. I felt the workout and saw I was only on 37/55 which means I need to push forward for a few more minutes more to complete the session. Overall ... Very good app experience was n day one
Every ad claims that this is a free app. The ads state the word free several times in every ad that I've seen. So I decided to give it a try. I spent about 20 minutes answering all the questions, setting up my "personal" fitness plan only to be ask to subscribe, for a monthly fee, before I could view the fitness plan or any of the exercises. Yes I was offered a free trial period but the APP is NOT FREE. I will be deleting this app.
The same music is on the never-ending loop, the voice-over explanation volume is not regulated and gets lost in the music, no pause option, exercises are not well organized by group - standing, sitting, floor - causing a scramble to change positions. Hopefully, improvements will be made since I have already spent the money and have to use this for the next year.
