K8 News - KAIT

I take it back, I tried to say something nice but KAIT deserves nothing. They are currently posting a forecast of a weather warning which is actually yesterday's news but it's too much trouble to put a simple timestamp on it so we can't be sure. It's time to remove this useless app from my life. Plus, getting to any potential useful news in here is a nightmare because of the ads and long commercials. USELESS!

This app sucks!!!!! App will never load when launched on Apple or Android. At 1st, I thought it was my phone, but when I switched to Android, the app did the same thing. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, it keeps doing the same thing. It loads when it wants. Fix the bugs. I use this app to dress my kids for school, so now I have to actually step outside instead. What a waist of a download.

Doesn't wanna work half the time and when it does it'll work in wide-screen for about 10 seconds and then it reverts to the tiny screen. Also how many times do I need to watch a pepeto bismol ad I watched 3 of the same ad in a row and then when it finally finished I got a video can't load.

Terrible app. Even if it actually loads and opens, all the ads make it useless. When I can actually FIND a local news story to read instead of an ad story or clickbait, it won't load. Push the back button to return to the list of "news" stories and it goes back to the main title page so I can AGAIN choose to look at 2 local news stories and 15 clickbait ads. Its like your channeling your studio/station abilities to this useless app. ANDROID GALAXY NOTE ULTRA

I never thought a News App could get any worse, but Ch. 8 did it! Absolutely harder to navigate, and stories disappear in the middle of reading them. Horrible, simply horrible. I'd give negative stars if I could. Now these advertisements, are getting out of hand.

The new app is not user friendly. It's like trying to make your way out of a haunted maze to find anything. Where's a simple weather app with a simple radar? You have to search for that, too. Click to read a news story, and a video usually starts. I don't have to hear a story; I can read and prefer to do so in most cases. If, by chance, I click on a story without an irritating video, the screen goes blank. This app is a disaster.

Ads are too invasive, makes searching through articles unpleasant. This update was forced on me as the old app wouldnt display news until the update was installed. Its buggy and slow, page moves upwards as ads load in and makes you click on articles you werent trying to because the page moved. Fire your app developer they made garbage.

I absolutely hate the new update!!! Way to many advertisements and half the time I can not even finish reading a story before the story disappears and gives me just white screen. Also I have to scroll past useless click bait ads to what looks like a legit story but then it takes me to another site. I will be deleting this app and get my news else where.

We are not receiving the paper out where we live so I the KAIT NEWS app and coffee are my morning routine. Settings for notifications really helps to keep up during the day. Also like the News subject squares to help quickly select an interest.

Too jumbled-up, have to go thru way too many ads to find and read or see stories. And stories are usually not in chronological order, so it's hard to tell what is new news, and what is old news.

It has become almost impossible to open and is also becoming impossible to update plus they have gone to more ad's than news. I guess they would make an excellent advertisement app because they are sure going backwards with the News app

HORRIBLE! App takes way to long to open! You need to get rid of your app developer and go back to the old one it worked perfectly! I am seriously considering uninstalling and getting my news elsewhere!!

I like the news. Good up-to-date reporting. Ad popped up with no *"dismissal". Locked up the app. Had to uninstall. Trying again.

Horrible app can't get it to even load and when it finally does has too many ads that have nothing to do with the news !! I know you can do better Region 8 !!

Very poor app, even if it opens and most of the time it does not, it is difficult to use because of all the ads that keep popping up.

I wouldn't know what to do anymore without this app! I love not having to try and catch the news on the television, with 4 kids it gets a bit hectic and chaotic!

The reason I am only 1 star right now. When I try to watch the news at regular times, it goes to local news cast and not kait8 news. And I want to see my local news instead of news somewhere else.

I don't like the new update, when you scroll down it wants to swipe right to another story. After 2 accidental swipes you get adds. It's hard to read a story.

I really don't like the app automatically playing the video! I want to read the script. will drop the app if it's not corrected soon.

I don't like the new set up. It's confusing and I honestly seem to be getting more and more other fake news stories over local things. I feel like this app has turned into a add over the news
