Karrot: Buy & sell locally

This app was working until I updated it two days ago. It logged me out and I'm having a hard time logging back in. After trying several times, about four times, you loose your chance to try again until Next day. I momentarily logged in yesterday and responded to a buyer and when I was going to post some items, it logged me off again. I'm trying again but I don't receive the verification code tru text. There's nothing about the subject on the help section. I'm about to uninstall it for good.

I'm a buyer who just downloaded this app a few hours ago and I think I'll go ahead and uninstall it. There are only ~80 results for a super common search term like "nightstand" within a 15-mile radius of the huge city I live in, and many of those results aren't even nightstands. So forget finding what you actually want. The app seems nice enough, but I think it makes sense to just go back to eBay and FB marketplace because not enough people are listing on this app.

Nice app makes it pretty easy to post items and have a general idea of what you should Post them for and it has a automatic system to lower the price. Until you get interest in the item, that's a pretty cool option. Also I have not ran into any obvious scammers, and not any of the men just being Gro.\nSs , because I am a woman and making it about selling other things that aren't the items I have posted or something like that , which is incredibly frustrating and very common on other sites.

At first I liked the app, it was simple. If I was looking for something, I could just type what I was looking for and only that item would appear in the search, now for some reason the app adds related items that I'm NOT looking for. Now if I type dumbells it add anything related to exercise and makes it that much harder to find what I'm looking for...

This app is a bit cluttered and my biggest beef is that it wastes your time when searching because your search results show mostly all sold items! I don't care about sold items, that's so dumb, if you want this to be a productive app that people find useful stop wasting their time with items that are gone... Sold ads should be removed.

I believe the new feature that suspends accounts after price discussions is not ideal. For used items, buyers should be allowed to make offers based on the condition of the item. The offer option should remain visible, and sellers should have the right to accept whichever offer they find reasonable.

it was good app but now it's ruined because of the neighborhood settings, so limited area, and these constant messages for products you've seen, now it's listing products even outside of the choosed neighborhood, of course because you limited it to 2 streets only and there are no any products to show, but you can't even send message to the products which are not in your neighborhood, why do you show them then? it's totally useless

An app that helps you sell things, but can't be available to everyone. yeah no, if you're only available to select few people there's no point in advertising. I'm moving & needed to sell things rather than do a ton of work for a garage sale & this app could've helped yet again you don't seem to be capable of making an app that works for everyone or at least all of the United States. Sheesh, what's the point just take it off the Google play store.

This app is above and beyond, honestly its not too bad or comparable to let go or other related app. Schedule Time , we get to receive notifications about anything related to selling or buying safe and convenient. it depends on meeting up with person. Depending on distance and trying save time and money i choose inside train station instead of exiting the turn stop to get back on and head home. Also we get to rate each other base on our thoughts of the reservation.

Claims of being better than FB Marketplace are exaggerated. There are definitely equally unreliable people on Karrot as well, but I guess you can't really eliminate that. perhaps as a greater base of users is established that will improve over time. All that said of the successful transactions I've completed both selling and buying I've been happy with the results.

Search is terrible. Trying to sell, the only people messaging me seem to be doing so for reputation farming to improve the heart points and response time metrics. I had to block someone for being spammy. I like the idea of a trustworthy marketplace but this is executed poorly. Neighbourhood management is buggy: old items still show at old neighborhood and when I try to update it to the new one, it says I'm too far. Ad import feature is good but importing them to the void is useless. Deleting.

This app has became part of my every day life!! It is so easy and conveniently set up. I am able to search by specific neighborhoods, brands, and even free items! The app notifies me if a seller drops the price on items I like or if there has been an offer made on it by another user. 100% RECOMMEND!!

The quality of the material that you buy is the worst and the customer support doesn't do anything, the shipping takes a long time sometimes 4 weeks and the shipping fees are too much and the clothes and the materials are the worst with bad stitching and other things , one the worst agents I've ever tried

when looking at the listing page, each listing should give you the numbers of times the item was viewed so you don't have to go into each listing and find it. there is no way to renew the listing. other apps will notify you that your ad is about to expire and you can renew it and it goes to the top of the list again, another app will allow you to simply delete and re-add with the push of a button. these are really handy features that are not available with this app.

WAY BETTER THAN MARKET PLACE I recommend this app to all my friends that sell items online. It's much easier They give you points for the good reviews u receive and if u do happen to receive a bad review they do not post it. only u can read the review but your points will go down not that I've ever had that issue but it's just a bonus. They also have incentives to win stuff when u sell certain items or your city works together to sell the most. It's awesome

it can do better with the location. for an example, if I want to shop only Manhattan. I do not want Brooklyn Queens or Jersey. Especially Jersey. They can make the proximity a little bit smaller and or the users can customize and circle whichever borough, they want to search.

Eh has nothing your looking for other than just furniture, or if you do nobody really responds, they tell you to sell you stuff cheaper than average, just use offer up or Facebook, only really gets 2 stars just cause when you post stuff the AI does it fast which saves a lot of time.

this app is useless and it's harassing. it's constantly sending me notifications for things I absolutely have no use for like it sent me a notification for a stroller. why do I want a stroller I don't even have little kids. it sends me ads for women's clothing. I'm pretty sure I don't need women's clothing. I tried posting a couple things on it. I haven't even got so much as a single reply. just annoyance everyday from getting notifications. I am deleting this app

Decided to try the app for the first time and some girl sold me a bad TV and she refused to give it bad, literally lost $220. Had to buy eventually from marketplace the following day, I have never had that experience from marketplace! Can't use it anymore, no way.

KARROT is the new way to buy and sell new and used items! Not only does it have a item scanner that scans your items for sale, but it also looks up and suggests a fair price and find out what the item you have is worth. This app just keeps getting better and better! Thank you Karrot!
