The app itself is very clear and easy to navigate and there's usually something new and fresh to see. Promos are always good!! Just would be nice if there was the option to have your meal 'dunked' or 'undunked', 'zinger' style or not type thing. As I'm so in love with the dunked sauce!! Another thing, However, I understand the risks and such in doing so but it would help so much if there was an option to pay cash on delivery or collect. I'm having this issue with most of the delivery apps....
It's improved substantially, still has some issues now and then but alot better than before. It would be great if we could type in our preference for chicken pieces when ordering Streetwise meals. when you collect you must take what you get cos you can't specify for leg & thigh etc. Also please consider an option to add a hash brown to the burger so we can still create a tower rounder.
This app no longer works. It used to work adequately, but it's no longer functional. When it opens, it gives an error message when I try to change which restaurant I want to order from. Now, it just gives an error and closes. When reinstalling, one cannot opt out of sharing information, and the app returns an error. Uninstalled.
Everytime I put a order in it says "something went wrong, please try again". tried like 5 times, app doesn't work unfortunately.
Most button are greyed out. Couldn't even place an order after 16hrs of trying.
This app is so ridiculously slow and it lags. This really needs to be sorted out.

Placed an order on the app about a month ago for collection, paid online, went to collect it & they said the ice cream machine isn't working so they can't give me my order and there was nothing they could do for me, I have to contact customer care, I logged a query on the app, nobody has gotten back to me, I've tried calling the number for complaints on the website, the "number doesn't exist" I just wanted to order food and now I have to deal with all of this. Great job KFC.
One of the most buggy apps in South Africa. The main purpose of an app is to make ordering easier and faster, but this one does the opposite. You spend more time struggling to place an order than anything else. It crashes constantly, freezes randomly and often fails at checkout. It’s obvious that it’s just a web view wrapped in an app, which makes it slow and unreliable. Instead of saving time it wastes it. For such a big brand this is very disappointing, not user-friendly at all.
Pretty bad application and whole system really. I made a purchase, it obviously billed my credit card, but never sent me any notification or reference. Even in store they weren't able to help since they don't have access to the system and can only see what is shown to them. The call centre had the staff in store on hold for about 30 minutes. Still they pretty much refused to help. I contacted KFC directly and they just closed the ticket without ever speaking to me. Avoid this.
The app is stupidly designed. Although, upon registration all details were added, when placing the order your last name has a pre-text added by the app, saying N/A, only for the app to tell you, you cannot add anything we except for alphabetical characters. why do they put the N/A there? Also, when selecting the tab to change the information, the keyboard doesn't pop up and you can't do so. Needless to say, this is the third phone I cannot place an order with. Purpose defeated.
Horrible app, but I'm even more disappointed by KFC's customer service. Made and paid for an order on the app for pick up. When I arrived at the KFC (which the app said was open) it was closed. Requested a refund, and after many follow up mails, finally received a payment, but it was the incorrect amount (literally not even 10% of what the amount was supposed to be). Followed up again multiple times, but I never heard back from them. It's been a month.
They say skip the Queue when you order and pay online for collection. I was waiting in store for 45min now my order didn't even appear on the screen for purchase. This is the worst service I had ever received, I asked for a refund and customer service said it will take 7 to 14 work days. So it's a lose lose if you ask me, and you won't get your fuel money so don't waste your time and think if you order online at KFC that you will skip any queue. Just buy at McDonald's or other food store.
The ordering system is not ideal. The staff is not well trained to operate it correctly. The order number includes my name. Most people cannot pronounce it. Sometimes the order is not displayed on the order TV. The staff shouts the number instead of marking the order as "Come & Get it". The 2 minutes is wishful thinking and the app doesn't tell me, hey! It's ready for collection. This application is missing out on so many obvious IT advantages. Instead of a convenience, it becomes the opposite.
If I could have given zero stars, I would have. We ordered online, with estimated delivery being in 40 minutes. After an hour an a half, our order finally arrives, but it's the wrong order. Completely wrong. Tried calling the outlet, they couldn't find our order. Tried calling the helpline, they don't answer. Worst service I have ever experienced.
Has a lot of issues for delivery. It doesn't allow you to select the store, even when multiple are within range. Some are worse than others. Only when the bad store is closed will it select the good one be selected. It also automatically put R5 as the tip. There's something wrong with app where it sometimes doesn't give the option to change it so you can't make it more or less, just R5. Sometimes you can change it, though. Tracking your order simply doesn't work, just an error message each time.
EDIT: WAS TOLD BY KFC TO REINSTALL, AND STILL NO DELIVERY. THIS SUCKS. 6 KFC stores in a 3 km radius and none of them can deliver. Pathetic. I have installed and uninstalled this app several times to check if they finally offer delivery, but they never do. The app is pretty much just an incredibly elaborate way to share your personal details with KFC and view their menu. Perhaps give people the option to check their addresses before registering. It will save them time.
Be very carefull app has issues. Ordered online, money was taken from my account. When you phone multiple excuses are given and funds will only to be refunded within 7 to 14 days. What a bunch of thieves, they bank your money and refunds take 14 days. The app is not user friendly. On the app your previous orders dissappear. Opened a case and i was requested to supply a full bank statement so they can track the transaction. I will not recommend this app.i will rate it negatively if i was able.
Wouldn't recommend this app to anyone. When they dont get the order right and dont bring everything, they dont refund you, they just keep the money for themselves , not ordering on this app again. I did contact customer careline. There was said refund will be made, but there never was. When you get your order at a drive thru, they fix their mistakes right there, but when you order on the KFC app they dont care if they didnt do their job and got the order wrong. 1 star for KFC app.
Horribly slow, simply could not get my order done. Eventually after half an hour off trying I did. Would have been quicker to go to the restaurant. Unable to change the branch when ordering for delivery. During my last order, which was paid for, and waiting for well over an hour I try to call the restaurant several times with no luck. I even call an other branch for then to tell me they can't get a hold of the branch I ordered from either. I drove to the branch to find it closed.
