KFC UKI – Order and Delivery

Many issues with the app/rewards system. When scanning at till (they usually ask to go kiosk) another name pops up on their screen and no student discount. They have to restart the till and when I scan again, my name pops up and student discount. On kiosk discount doesn't work and after scanning I get my rewards and offers but no new play is being issued after purchase as if I didn't scan it. I am aware minimum spend applies. Either kiosk or till I get mugged off, either no discount or no play.

2nd review. Though they've fixed the bugs with ordering on the app. They have other issues. I don't eat Halal. Their food is sometimes explicitly labelled labelled as Halal (shame on you KFC). They never label their food as Halal free. Second point. I'm always listening to radio stations (foreign and domestic) open the app and the sound from the radio stations cut off. KFC I don't want to hear your BS!

It's a nice app to order food from + if you're a student/staff member/key worker you can get discounts on some food. BUT. The only reason this is 4* is thanks to the ordering and "rewards". Delivery is an (often speedy) Uber service but if you redeem a free item via this it will show up on the receipt & order history, but you won't get it + you can't raise an issue. & unlike other fast food apps that give you points to choose your freebies, the gacha gives you a CHANCE to win a random menu item.

App didn't recognise my original password then I had to reset my password. Clicked on the the link from my email which sent me to set up on the app that didn't work so had to uninstall the app and use the browser instead and that doesn't work either. Used every single password I could think of with the correct required length and yet nothing works as it kept saying "Oops, something went wrong. please try again". Thank You to KFC CS for deleting my account on request and start again. it work now

The repeated stupid notifications from the app on the pinball gamification ("You're missing out") are annoying. Such a deviation from just being able to order and enjoy food. Not a great experience for users. Also, in restaurant the music is way too loud spoiling the eating experience.

Edit: After trying to scan with the app at my local restaurant (previous attempts at deliveries have resulted in the courier failing to deliver to the correct address even after the correct details were inputted), neither scanner at either the self-serve or main kiosk recognised my QR code (this after deleting cache / data and performing a complete reinstall of the app)... really yousless downloaded it thinking maybe like other apps have offers NO ITS NOT .ok then maybe scan a card NO ITS NOT IT ACTUALLY DOES NOTHING AND VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. I have every shop app and have never come across problems like this one . so now uninstalled

the deals are good, the rewards aswell. unfortunately the app stops my music playing when opening. I will be sure to amend my review the day it changes.

Terrible. I've tried many times to sign up to this app and every time it has failed, looks like I won't be able to take advantage offers due to this, sort it out!

For such a big food chain their deliveries are absolutely atrocious! Ordered food at 18.30, was told I'd get it by 18.45 to 19.00. Mind you the place is under a mile away, but here I sit eating my food which has now gone cold and hard like cardboard at 20.00!

Placed an order for delivery via the app and waited for over an hour, only to learn upon ringing customer support that the order had failed and never gone through, even though the app confirmed it with an order number and showed it as an active order. 'Sorry for the technical issue' was all I got after waiting for over an hour and bouncing between Uber and KFC help desks. Never again.

Always wants to know how you are getting your food or collecting as the prices change if delivery. Even with a delivery charge on too you get to pay a premium on each item you order and no chance to use any promotion offers. Bit of a con tbh

Terrible app, logs you out and impossible to log back in if you have forgotten your password. Email link never arrives or if it does it doesn't accept any new password what's so ever. Absolutely rubbish.

Order fails at payment every time. I contacted twitter support who confirmed my order didn't go through but didn't do anything to help me. Edit, 2 years later and still the exact same problem! impossible to pay for an order via the app. New phone, new card, same problem.

automatically signs me out after restarting the app and then sometimes when I what to sign back in i put the correct password in and it says it is wrong other than that it is ok

Don't waste your time. The app is a mess. Reset password emails never arrive, and the interface is incredibly buggy. It’s easier to just go to the drive-thru and pay full price than to try and get their 'deals' to work. Fix your servers.

So bad, such a bad app. Seriously, breaking into the CIA database on UFOs would be easier. Trying to apply discounts is a joke. the whole thing such a nightmare to use.

That's 4 times now I've tried to order through the App and it's failed. The money has been set aside in my bank, but KFC app has failed right at the last step, so not only do i have money put aside that i can't access but no food delivered either. It will cost me double until the 1st order cost drops back into my bank, if i choose to go through just eat. Terrible App! don't waste your time on it!

You win a reward that seems amazing but when you want to checkout in the app it will tell you minimum checkout is 99p. so basically you can't order your free item on the app unless you spent your money. Isn't it a rip off? Now they'd say, you can order it in store for free! okay than what's the point of this app? and if you say fees and etc how can others apps like Popeys can do it for free?

The app has improved a lot since I first installed it. One thing I would really love to see is that I can remove ice from my drink.
