After 8 Ball, this is my 2nd favorite among all the pool games. The physics are good and the English is spot on. I've yet to witness any hacking or cheating. Overall, a good release. The Cons: not enough diversity such as special events. The ladst update to the game was ages ago, which makes me believe Uken has chosen not to develop it further. My in game friends tell me that the game has been around for nearly 10 years which may explain it. If that doesn't bother you, this is a solid offering.

Pretty good game. Much more enjoyable than Miniclip's "8 Ball Pool" as the table physics are much more realistic, though there often seems to be a problem with the banks in the pockets. They always seem to bounce the ball out, regardless of the direction of travel and their position. Matchmaking algorithm also needs work. Bad. I just started playing within a week ago, I shouldn't be matched against high level rank 1s.

Graphics are good & has cool effects like balls catching on fire. Has a global chat, Having a chat is a plus. Physics are very far off. Putting draw on the ball with low speed will cause the cue to fly to other end of table after contact. I play in tournaments and in amatuer pool leagues. The amount of draw is dependent on initial speed, force and distance. Also has rules in effect that are completely made up and not found in any rule set, amatuer or pro. AR mode never worked for me.

Better than miniclip's game. Has easier and more precise controls. Better graphics and easier on the eyes. Cues are easier to obtain and nothing you earn in the game is useless. Onviously, the end games cues are better, but the starting cue allows you to apply spin/english, and all the cues in the game are good enough to pull off hard shots and run racks with tricky patterns. There are badges for playing to a certain skill level which also grant experience, so it's motivating to play good and get better.

the base physics are okay, although it's missing spin translation physics. the game itself is mostly fine too, except for a couple major problems: 1. there's a thing that players can do to show a popup on their opponent's screen. many players try to use this to make you run out of time. 2. there's a wheel you spin that is the only way to get certain rare cues, and it costs real money to spin. it may not be as bad as many other pool games' loot boxes, but it's still gambling.

Haven't played but maybe 6 games in one location, but SO FAR it is one of the best online multi player (one at a time) pool games I've experienced!!! Yet to figure out how to challenge my brother as he was who suggested the app, but we will figure it out! The part I have never seen (not a technical person with electronics) is the ARcode (if I spelled it right) seems like a real cool item and looks like it has the potential for becoming very VERY useful in gaming and virtual reality.

Not bad. It's nice. But let's say, physics doesn't work for you too well if you don't pay. Cues that do the work for the player, you just need to pay. Installed 4 times the game and always is the same. I got level 19, only by winning. I've been defeated by a 25 level guy with a futuristic cue and just 9 games won. Far from real life. Bah!

The game is very engaging! I'm amending my appraisal of this game. I do like the game. However, I have pocket dialed into the game several times and the team was good about refunding money back to me. It happend again on this past Saturday. I immediately tried to get out of the game I got entered into ( $1.3m entry fee). I turned my phone off and after about an hour of being block out of reentering, my balance $1.3m short. They now refuse to reimburse me. I dont think that is fair.

I've emailed yall weeks ago about my profile picture from facebook suddenly disappearing. Wasn't satisfied with the answer yall gave, and am even more dissatisfied that the problem has not been fixed. I see a lot of the other players have managed to keep or have been given back their profile pictures. Don't really care why, just care that it gets fixed. Like, soon. My rating changes when my profile pic does.

I really liked this at first. Once I reached level 1, thighs started to go weird. When aimed directly into a pocket, the ball would mysteriously miss and hit the tip of the pocket. Other times, the cue ball will run across the table, come off the rails at odd angles, and scratch or get hooked behind other balls. Many times, I've made a shot and pocketed the ball, in my marked pocket, only to have the cue ball turned over to my opponent with ball-in-hand. What the hell. I know how to play pool.

KINGS OF POOL, I always enjoy playing is a fantastic virtual experience. However, I'm currently facing an issue where the game refuses to launch, claiming there's no internet connection, despite having a stable home network. It's not a RAM memory problem as I've already cleared it. I hope this connectivity hurdle gets resolved soon so I can get back to enjoying my favorite billiards game.

The actual gameplay is pretty good, but there are far too many instances where your opponent runs out of time yet is able to still take a shot 30 seconds after it's ran out and goes on to win. Constant connection problems too. If these were sorted it would be much better to play but these issues, especially players continuing after their time has run out, ruins it.

absolutely love pool and by far the best one I have downloaded. only problem is that it doesn't all go by official rules(at least by the way I was taught). like if you are shooting for a certain pocket and it misses and ends up going into a different one, you still have your turn. in person I play honestly so of that happens it's the other persons turn. regardless of that I highly recommend this game if you love playing pool

Tried another pool game and the control was so much better there. The problem here occurred even in the very first game. If the ball is close to an edge of screen then it can be very difficult to fine tune the aim since you're forced to moved the cue - can't just slide and spin from any side of the ball to move it. I was trying to aim up towards a far end hole and every time I lifted finger of screen the aim moved a tiny bit and time ran out. Going back to the first pool app I tried.

Super addictive game with a welcoming community. The controls are intuitive and it was very easy to get into. AR mode is neat, but you need to be in a relatively large room to really appreciate it. Only improvement I'd recommend is to do matchmaking based on ranks. Beginners can end up matched with very experienced players and it can make for some unbalanced gameplay.

With tap to aim on its not the greatest experience. The cue wants to stay on the cue ball in the angle it chooses and then wants to lag in to aim. Other than that it's not a bad game. I like the ante up of it. The overall feel of the game feels heavy and the transition from shot to shot isnt that good and for that I give it 3 stars.

When the cue is aimed directly to the left or right, I have extreme difficulty grabbing the cue to aim. This causes the game to run out of time before I am even able to move the cue. When I am able to move the cue, there seems to be a sensitivity issue; the cue does not allow for fine adjustment of angle. This causes what should be simple shots to become impossible as the cue will not sit at the proper position. Some people seem to enjoy this game; I find it infuriating. I will be uninstalling.

Why did you people at Uken stop supporting this game/app? A lot of people still like this game and still play it. Spend some time on this and bring back the tournaments, bring back the video option for $50 credit, bring back the chat and team stats too. WTH is wrong with you people. My rating now goes from 4.5 to 2, until you start supporting this game again.

UPDATE: The game has become buggier than the last time I had reviewed it. Simple shots wouldn't go in, faulty matchmaking, opponents not getting penalized for exhausting the allotted time are few of the issues. Also, please ensure there is a range of eligible ranks allowed for a particular location table. You shouldn't allow people to enter any random table just because they have the cash. A rank 25 user should not have to face a rank 1 user in a 100 cash table and vice versa for higher one.

Be warned, unless you have a Facebook account, the game does not store your game info. If you ever have to restore your phone without a Google backup, which is normal if your phone has a bug, you're finished too. Everything will be lost. I cannot recommend investing in this game until they sort out proper cloud saving of game and purchase data. Developer can help to restore some of your data manually but it's not an ideal solution.
