I don't understand the reviews. I have a kingslkm D4 and it's super easy to connect the device to my phone. The transfer speeds are slow enough that I usually just take the micosd card out but the app works fine. These other reviews are doing something wrong. For other people, do not sign up or register in the app. Just press skip, connect to the cameras wifi, and then connect to the device in the app. It's super simple.

Not a good product. I don't recommend to buy this product, Impossible to connect the device to the smartphone, impossible to download the GPS, impossible to manage the app, impossible to find the wifi menu and worst case scenario is that I called customer service and they never helped me out. They just told me to wait 48 hours for a return call.

Wifi stopped working. Worked well for 9 months. Should have known it wouldn't last long. Looks like lot's of customers are having this problem. Going to buy from a better company! Have you noticed, no one from their company responded to our issues? You pay top dollar for their product and get zero response when there's an issue.

App used to be great but now it no longer works. After connecting to the camera's WiFi and the selecting the dashcam, the screen just stays black and does nothing. Reinstalled the app, cleared cache + data, tried on a different phone, nothing. Would be greater if the devs would fix the issue. Using the OnePlus 9 with the Kingslim D4 Dual Dashcam.

The app is easy enough to use and navigate...when it actually connects. 1/10 times it will connect to the dash cam, absolutely maddening. They advertise for the D4 the GPS features in the app but they don't seem to exist. The video quality is great and it's easy to download the videos, but again that's only when it connects...

if you don't click confirm when downloading the video which is crucial you might not be able to after and get an error message

The app used to work way back when, but now Im having nothing but issues. The app won't connect to the dashcam because the Wifi signature doesn't show up on my phone. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Is there some kind of factory reset that fixes it? I have no idea. They need to update the app and make it less problematic.

When I try to connect to the camera via wifi with my phone as i always did, it keeps saying connected without internet now for some reason . I am not able to get footage that I need or delete old footage . I've tried everything, and nothing is working. It just keeps saying "connected without internet." How can I fix this problem ??? It's always worked completely fine before, and now all of a sudden, it's not connecting anymore.

Does Not Connect to Kingslim Dashcam E4. Garbage app. As LOTS of others say, this app doesn't work properly. For the few that say that the users that are having trouble don't know what they're doing, speak for yourself and not others! This app WILL NOT interconnect to the E4 and device (tried a Galaxy S23 Ultra, iPhone 14 Pro, Galaxy tablet and an older phone) using their proprietary wifi signal, PERIOD no matter what I do. I'm not a tech fool, this app doesn't work. Sending the E4 back.

This is the most heinously awful app I have ever used. Connecting your camera is a pain of its own, as the directions dont match up and it seems finnicky on connectivity in general. App is unresponsive at best, and frequently breaks on you as you try to review footage. You have to connect MULTIPLE times just to find the clip you want. The interface is also a nightmare, and I'm positive literally anyone else could do a better coding/interface job. Start from scratch if you plan to fix this.

It was great..now not so much. Communicated with tech support multiple times, and eventually it was chalked up to a merger and an update that pretty rendered the app useless. The workaround solution given, take the SD card out of the camera and download on the computer. Just annoying as the whole point was ease of use with the app.

I don't know why all the harsh reviews but I have been having no problems with this app on my Google pixel 6 and my D1 Pro camera. My only issue being you have to connect to the WiFi (at least for my camera) on the camera to check anything. I think it'd be better if they had a cloud service because if I get into a really bad wreck that destroys my camera and SD card what then? Otherwise it works fantastic though.

this app sucks, was working ok and the one day just stop, can't connect to the camera, get a message saying connected but can't provide Internet. I try everything and can't get it connected. it's frustrating I'm about to break it with my hammer, try to complain thru the app and not even that works, DO NOT BUY. Google need to allow give 0 star option, this isn't fair.

Needs lots of work! Connects to camer fine. But video feed to my phone is fuzzy, low res, and glitches to magenta screens a lot. Not a lot of functionality. What it really needs is the GPS data to be displayed along with the video. The dashcam is great. The app sucks

It takes forever to get the filelist, up to 5 minutes. I wish it loaded the videos in chunks, so maybe 10 videos at a time and actually populated the list as it goes instead of forcing me to wait for ALL of the videos to load.

This app is literal feces. I wish I could give it zero stars. It does not work to connect to the expensive camera I bought. I have reached out in multiple emails to resolve this issue, and let's just say their customer service is just as bad and useless as this app

App sucks. It took 10 minutes to log in because the password bar wouldn't let me type a !, I had to copy and paste my password in. The app is beyond slow too. I could connect to my dash cam but I'm not even sure how to playback and save the footage. Makes the app pretty useless

I have a D4 cam, its minimum screen off time is 30 sec but should have 15/10 sec. as well or a manual time input would be awesome. The dashcam screen can't be stopped from inside settings to ignore when going to reverse sometimes i don't want it to turn on the screen when reverse but its only possible if i remove the wire. I haven't seen any OTA received ever for the camera.

Unfortunately the app will not connect to the camera even after several restarts. All it displays is - connect to DVR - and then loads forever. Would be nice for the Devs to fix the app as it is no fun to pull the card out every time you have to check some footage.

I was able to get my D4 installed but when I try to follow the app instructions to talk to it, it's for what looks like the 1st generation? Update: I emailed the company and they responded with instructions: stop recording first, then long press the wifi icon on the screen until it shows the wifi info, open your wifi and sign in, then once you've connected, open the app
