Kiss: Read & Write Romance

You know, if everyone is complaining about how expensive this app is then it is probably too expensive. The "book" I am trying to read has over 600 chapters and if you watch ads you can read 5 a day. Or pay an exorbitant amount. It's ridiculous. And good grie, the writers need an editor. Typos, characters that are introduced then just disappear, redundancy. So if you haven't figured it out yet, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. SKIP THIS APP. If you want to read then might I suggest the Kindle app?

The stories are good, but I've spent $30 on subscriptions so far and have only read half of ONE book. Each chapter is short, takes less than 5 minutes to read, and the book has over 250 chapters. Meanwhile physical books similar to this would cost $15-$20 tops in a store or online for the WHOLE thing. I just don't really feel like the price is worth it. Especially when the subscriptions don't give you unlimited coins, so you have to keep spending more money to read the book.

It's a scam! They lock you into ads so you have no choice but to close out, then you don't get credit. I keep watching the same ads over and over and they NEVER unlock a chapter. You can't get past anything. They let you read the first few chapters, then you can't go anywhere without paying. It's been WEEKS and I have only gotten to two more chapters. SCAM!!!!

1. Needs a lot of proof reading, but I can still pass that as the storylines are real good. 2. They have many diverse stories. 3. What puts the poop in this app? That many stories are on going and you don't know which, because they aren't marked. Don't get me wrong, but when I want to read a book I want it finished. No that drags me wait for 1 or 2 chapters. Which there's another thing, many of this books aren't short they can go for 500 or more chapters.

im extremely dissatisfied with this app, I supposeably made a purchase on the app that was a subscription to be billed every week. when I learned of this, I was furious because I had no recollection of purchasing anything or even using the app much. I never got rewarded with whatever items I had bought, and when I emailed the support for such problems, I was met with nothing but silence, no email stating they would look into it, no we will give you the rewards you purchased or we will refund you

I loved (yes, past tense) this app. So much! I have read so many fun and entertaining stories. I decided it was worth spending some money on. That's where things took a nasty turn. The ability to watch ads for chapters disappeared. The daily ads you would watch for coins to collect dropped down to 8 a day (one coin per ad), the amount of "cool down time" before the next ad quadrupled (from 15 sec to 1 min), and the bonus coins I got from my subscription purchase in no way compensates. Frustrated

Updating review. I gave it another chance after a few months. It will still each a few coins, but nowhere near as many as before. Be aware during "sales" that you need to get through all the first 3 free chapters before you buy the bundle because if you do that in chapter 1, the 10 chapters you buy are 2-9. It doesn't do this weird math for titles not on sale, so decide if that's what you want to do based on the sale amount. The app is... Fine. Very few books with noticable errors

Because you pay by chapter, it's easy to not realize how much the credits add up to, but it ends up costing more than most internet published books. I don't mind paying for the books I read (The authors deserve compensation for the entertainment they provide.), but this app often has unpolished content with poor editing. Still interesting stories and reads, but the cost to publish is very low when there no money spent on marketing and editing. These prices aren't justified.

Received a "reply" to my previous review. A canned response that I see on several others that completely ignores that they STOLE MY MONEY. No refund. No access to the book. They say they are special because you can buy as little of the book as you want in case you dont like. Have you heard of a free sample? I lost $7 trying to finish a book I found on google play for $3.99!! After a $3 book credit I paid $0.99. Im at the point of lodging complaints with the platforms and my credit card company.

⚠️ Dodged a bullet! Read the comments in the first free chapters of the app and everyone was saying don't waste your time or money, because they bought coins and the chapters were extremely short and that the story just goes in circles. Also, the "bonus coins" apparently can't be used to purchase chapters. Some of the books on the app can be bought cheaper elsewhere. So, thank you everyone for that. I will definitely heed the warning ⚠️ 🙂

I used to love this app. It had daily log-in rewards and rewards for reading for certain periods of time. I noticed that I have not been able to tap the "reading rewards" section anymore... I'm hoping that it is just an update error with the coding so I'm willing to stick around for a month more. Otherwise, chapter prices are too high and are not worth buying coins for. Hope it gets fixed soon or they lose me as a customer.

Too expensive! The app won't let you see how many coins are needed to buy all the available chapters because they don't want you to realize how expensive it ultimately is. For example, I just saw a price of $50 for 1500 coins. However, there are 752 chapters and the book isn't even finished yet! Comments and reviews mention poor editing, lots of repetition, and a circular plot that's not close to resolution. Also accusations of plagiarism with minor character name changes etc.

The first couple chapters on Facebook reeled me in, but quickly realized I had to pay to unlock each chapter and some chapters cost different than others and there's no one price for the whole story anywhere. I'm going to use up the coins I bought and then move on. Not interested in not knowing what it will cost to complete a story and having to unlock each chapter one at a time if I want to know what I'm paying. Plus, you can't download it, so I couldn't finish it on the plane.

The app itself isn't terrible, but I paid an extreme amount to read a book, thinking it would at least get me 1 full book, but no, it bought me enough coins to not even get HALF of the book. I paid at least $30 and couldn't even finish it. The stories are great, but I'd rather buy a paperback than spend any more money here. It gives you daily free coins, but mostly those will get you a chapter-2 chapters a day. Outrageous!

The stories are so good, but, as a fast reader, it's so frustrating to constantly have to pay 99 cents per chapter. The chapters are so short and there's easily over 20. I could purchase a hardback book at barnes and nobles much cheaper than that. This app isn't what I expected. Not to mention, it advertised as free on fb. Most definitely not free.

Literally stole my money. Downloaded to read a story, then paid for more coins to keep reading. Then the app prompted me to "link an account so you don't lose your info" and when I did that it put me back to page one with no purchase history and I would have to re-buy all of the already overpriced chapters. THIS is why I quit using apps like this. THIS is why I just use Kindle Unlimited. &14/month for with so many books included for free in that. Use it instead.

I really enjoy the stories. I used to be able to watch 2 ads to unlock the next chapter 4 or 5 times daily, but that disappeared after I purchased coins and used them up. Now that option is gone. Chapters are short for 10 coins for each chapter. The book I started reading is 568 chapters and ongoing. it is ridiculous the price for so few coins!

This app used to be decent, but now that you have to pay for everything its ridiculous. Might as well just go to a book store. I mean seriously there are books with so many spelling and grammatical errors, WHY would we pay?! Only reason im.keeping the app is so I can re-read the ones I've ready managed to complete. We should be able to earn coins and they NOT expire.

Greedy app developers! I have been using this app for a while and suddenly they increased the amount of time you have to wait between videos to get free coins and removed the offerwall so you can no longer earn coins other ways. I'm sure all of this was in an attempt to force people to spend money to read stories and although I was happy to spend occasionally when it wasn't the only option I will not be bullied into it by greed. I will only ever use coins I can get free. I may uninstall.

Worst app ever! It costs so much to read a book that you're better off buying it through Amazon or Nook. I thought I'd do a daily sign in, stock up points to read an entire book with coins, but the coins expire too quickly. I read for the 15 minutes, more like 45, and I never got reading coins like advertised. Waste of phone memory. Don't waste your time!
