The app doesn't work anymore. This is my preferred NBC lical news app & have used it for many years. In the last several months it has quit working completely. I have uninstalled it & reinstalled it a few times. I have sent feedback about the app's issues a few times with no response & no improvement. Very frustrating & annoying having to go into the browser to look up what the wbir notification says because the app shuts down when I click on the notification to open the article every time.

Bad. OK for news, but would like more stories to pick from (this is a news organization). Forces you to sit through a long opening splash screen (the night screen looks like the Evil Eye). Tapped an ad - could not kill it, even by closing app. Had to mute my phone - glad it didn't happen in public. When the ad finally ended, still could not close the pop-up - had to force-kill. Opening popup says it collects data, even when not in use. Uh, no - I deny permission & force-kill it after every use.

Boy, I hope you like notifications because you will be getting a lot of them. Sure, there are some pretty granular options to control what news items you want to receive notifications about but, guess what? They don't work. I have it set to receive notifications for traffic and weather and instead I receive them for everything from high school football to local nobodies doing handstands on unicycles. All. Evening. Long.

I love the station & I love the people. The only thing I have a problem with is this app. For several months now, it keeps closing. I don't have a bit of trouble with the weather app, but this one opens then closes immediately. I thought maybe I needed to update it, but that didn't work. I un-installed it & then re-installed it, but that didn't work either. I hope someone can fix this because I really miss seeing them & their reports. Until it's fixed, I can only give it 2 stars.

I Love the app but for some reason it hasn't been work for a few weeks now. And I am unable to check the weather for my area or surrounding areas or the news. Hopefully they get this problem fixed asap.

for the last 2 months your app does not work. I open the app and 4 seconds later it closes. what is the reason for this? I see other reviews saying the app has not been working

app not working. I've used this for years and then it stopped working as soon as I start to scroll. it just disappears. please fix this issue.

crashes when you try to scroll the article, if not fixed I will delete the app.

I have watched channel 10 pretty much my whole life... very pleasant people who are genuinely concerned about informing local Tennessean's of current events and weather. They are passionate about their jobs and it shows..

since the update it keeps shutting down every time I open.

Looking to get current Clinton weather conditions and got back to back commercials. You could turn those off until the sub zero temperatures and roads cleared. I'll just wait until the 6pm broadcast! Thank you! And now, I need to tell you if this works on Apple, Roku, android and I don't know if it works on air force 1.nor the space station. Ask them and let everyone else know.

Would rate higher but I can't turn off notifications for news. I only want weather. Have all other notifications turned off. But I get 10 notifications a day from different categories, traffic accidents, mayor speeches, sports. Fix that or I will be uninstalling. VERY annoying to continually get dinged throughout the day when it is indeed turned off. Samsung S9, One UI 2.5, kernel 4.9

I love my local news and do a great job keeping me informed

I get notifications about everything all day even though I opted out for everything but weather and school closings. It is rage inducing when I just get the baby to sleep and my phone alerts me about sports or some other nonsense. I do like the app and find it easy to navigate so it gets two stars.

WBIR is my go to on tv but the app has just gotten worse. I will get a notification and click it and half the time it won't come up nor can I find the article by searching. Also everything is a video now. I can't just watch a video at work. I can read an article quickly. Switching news apps. Very dissappointed.

The old weather app was great. I cannot seem to find a way to get this one to display the temp on my "always on top of my phone notifications bar" Also it is not as user friendly with daily weather reports. I request the weather portion to be similar to the old app then I would come back.

Decent app. Does what it is supposed to. There are two things I would change. First, the splash screen that appears when the app opens takes way to long to go away. Around ten seconds if I timed it right. I want it down to 3 seconds tops. Also, make the videos, especially the live videos, able to be cast to Chromecast. Or better yet, a native Chromecast app would be awesome. But the ability to cast is sufficient. I thought maybe this would happen with the advent of WBIR+. Alas, it did not.

The only complaint is that when there is a traffic incident in the notifications, the verbal description only appears in the notification (unless I just need to be taught how to find it within the app.). In my experience, once you click on the notification, you get the map which shows congestion with colors, but in the case of such information, the verbal is at least as helpful as the map, and often more so, especially if the estimated clear-away or reopening time wasn't memorized.

Horrible app. It crashes CONSTANTLY and EVERY single video plays for a brief moment, then is cut off by a black screen and a commerical takes absurdly long to load. (I have an excellent data plan) After many of the commercials, which are apparantly more important than the news in which I downloaded the app for, the news video NEVER even comes back up! Don't waste space and time, just go Google the weather and download SMARTNEWS, which has ZERO ads and customizable news worldwide and local.

Way too many alerts. There's no way of customizing the alerts to get just what you want. I get alerts all hours of the night so I just took the app off. All I wanted was just weather and school alerts for my area only. Edited to add that I'm upset that we can't live stream the live broadcast on the firesfick like we could on the roku
