KPTV FOX 12 Oregon

Big useless photos, but only the first 3-4 words from the story title. No way to know what story is about before you open it. Plus - too many useless ads cluttering the screen. I'll run it for a day or so, but will delete. Ran older version for years. I give up. I can only assume this was re-written for people who can't read. After running this for many years - I'm deleting it today.

I use to love having the news at my fingertips anytime anywhere. Now not at all. I can not enlarge the print for easier reading in factthe print has gotten lighter, I can not mark pages for later reading, Ican not zoom in on pictures to see what they maybe talking about if I need too. Definitely preferred the app before this update.

06Mar26 Update. Needs to be a no stars option. New app is god awful. Can't watch live in landscape that I can figure out so only a small pic. Leaving this update before uninstalling. I was okay with a static ad when opening the app, but the new unskippable video ads are a no go for me. If I'm watching live and switch apps, accidentally, get a call, or to check a message, have to sit thru the (too long) ads AGAIN. Never use this app for urgent information or updates.

After update when live streaming it doesn't keep the screen alive. Device keeps turning off. It's very frustrating. if it's not fixed soon I will switch to a different station.

App is laggy after recent update/refresh. Ads that take up the whole page you physically have to remove to continue. No easy way to access local weather forecast

Wayyyy too many ads. I am about to delete this app. I rarely use it anymore because they have put in so many dang ads.

this latest update makes the app unusable you can't get weather or scan the news easily. please make it possible to go back and use the old app

The livestream in unwatchable due to the number and timing of commercials. They cut off news stories with commercials more and more - I tried watching this morning but every story was cut into, so I think I'm done. And they play the same commercial multiple times in a row; it's super annoying.

App hasn't been working for Livestream News part. I had to start using channel 8 instead even though channel 12 is my chosen. I am now giving up on your app and uninstalling and wont keep on my devices until it get back to FULLY working especially for livestream. I dont use tvs in my home anymore and only watch very limited news times, but was mainly only in this app. This app is a failure and a failure to Fox 12 Oregon.

This used to be the only thing I used for local weather and news. The last couple of months or so I am stuck watching an ad I can't get out of before reading the article that brought me to the app. I absolutely hate it, and I am deleting the app now.

The app locks up all the time, and when I get an alert it takes forever fir the article to show up or it doesn't show up at all.

This version, in my opinion, doesn't work as well as the old version.

Not a lot of use if you can't live-stream the news. Re-playing hours old news programs is not what we (I at least) are looking for. There is something labeled "Live", but it mostly shows video from some random traffic camera. UPDATE:2023 Needed this because satellite receiver was out. Really bad. The live stream was late joining news, up to 20 minutes late, ads with very loud volume, repeated over and over. Often shows things from local channels in other states. Useless. Fix it or junk it.

not usable because of advertising which interupts news articles. now using only koin and kgw apps for news.

Do not appreciate the forced spam ad without warning that is difficult to exit out of when you aren't even watching a video/Livestream. On top of the ad you expect when actually watching a video. have watched Fox 12 my whole life and had the app for years and now I'm deleting it because if that.

since a recent update this app is very disappointing! slow and clunky.

video on demand is unable to be enlarged and/or rotate to full screen on a cell phone

Had to drop you too a 1. This last update screwed up your live stream. I can no longer enlarge the picture, and when you go on break I'm lucky if it will automatically start after. Usually I have to back out and reload it. Making me miss half the broadcast. If it automatically does start, there's no volume. So once again I have to close it and reboot. You're my favorite news crew. So please fix these glitches. Thank you.

3/1/21: Less news again! Yay updates! /S Update 3/31: Holy hell. I am not kidding when I say every single update this app gets worse. Now it's trying to push annoying notifications that no one wants and even if you decline there's an annoying thing at the top of every single article asking again if you want notifications. No, Fox 12. No one wants extra pointless notifications on their phone. Why is it that every time this app is updated they put LESS news on it?
