The App crashes on the weather page when you scroll down and the sections populate. No way to use the radar or see any content in the lower half of the weather page. AND no more ability to pay to remove ads. I saw the comment about it was a hard choice. It's 2021. Figure it out. Update: They fixed the app crash. Still have to watch 30 second add to get 60 seconds of weather video

Great local content and the best weather team ever...ish. My only issue is the ads. They're not in-your-face or anything but they're "clickbait". Ads that appear as news with catchy, outlandish, and mostly false headlines to prey on the unaware. These ads are everywhere on the net, sure, but it's the choice of KSHB to use that particular type of ad to boost revenue is my issue. -1⭐

This app has some recent problems. For more than a year or two, I used the app and it worked well Now I get some weird message or limited use of app. I watch KSHB always, and for a long time, the app worked well. But now the app is NOT user friendly. I realize the times we're in are crazy but your tech people should have figured this out.

I like this app because you are not stuck with annoying ads. Its filled with the latest news, sports & updated weather info, you always get alerts on what's important and I hope it stays like this. I uninstalled a previous local news app after it made changes that consisted of putting ads on first and then it put the local weather on a separate app. So I'm so glad the KSHB 41 app focused on giving people what they want in a news app.

Since the last update, every time I try to use the app on Fire Stick I have to clear all data or else the channel will echo the entire time. This is still occurring. If I want to watch your news broadcast i have to clear the data & clear the cache. Sometimes it starts echoing during the middle of the broadcast. If I didn't love Gary Lezak so much I would delete your station & never look back ):

Very pleased with this app as it works very well when using TalkBack, which allows someone like me who is blind to access the app. Easy to play the live news stream, access settings, & news articles. Its a lifesaver during severe weather to know what is going on around me. Happy to be able to pay a yearly charge to remove ads.

I downloaded this app because I went ahead and canceled my cable TV because I never watch it except for the news. You cannot watch the news!! I cannot really watch the news because the amount of commercials the app plays cuts into the news stories so much by the time you get to the news stories you get about 1 minute of news and it goes back to the extended commercials. Epic fail KSHB. I want to watch the news in the morning not the same repeated commercial over and over and over.

I will click on certain stories and others will open. The weather section of the app is hit or miss. Also some of the stories I read have clear bias and aren't factual. We have the internet at our fingertips with politicians actively tweeting or posting. It makes it blatantly obvious there is bias when we have access to what politicians are saying.

Normally I like this app, but today every time I try to open it, it quits. I've restarted my phone, deleted the app, and re-installed it. Still won't run. When the problem is fixed, will change the stars.

This app had quit working altogether about a week ago. I did send feedback but it never improved. Today I just deleted it & re-installed it. Now it seems to be fine. I rely on this app for local information. I hope the issue is now resolved.

Weather forecast never adds up..app is ok but. Between the weather blog, the daily and hourly forecast dosen't line up. Blog would call for 100 degrees, the hourly calls for 97 and the daily calls for 98..

August 2018 feedback Weather tab crashes the app. Developers ignore feedback. Staying safe in a weather event must not be important as the app doesn't let you check radar without crashing...... March 2019, still not working. Ridiculous!

Obvious political bias. Wish I could just get the news without political opinions. Makes it so hard to watch. Unfortunately, I can't find another live news stream, and I need to see the weather reports.

Video freezes up all the time. So frustrating! Decent other than that but needs fixed.

The radar on this doesn't work, ever. Great traffic updates and news story updates but weather is the main thing I want to see and this app sucks for it!

Intrusive commercials. I keep having to mute all of the commercials because they are at a much higher volume than the program material. Way to go KSHB. You're causing your advertisers' messages to be lost. I wonder how they feel about that. The commercial should be the SAME volume. It shouldn't blare at the viewers.

Been having issues with app for over a week now. You tap on a story and the app shuts down. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled and re-installed app and nothing has fixed the problem.

The app starts, but every time I select a headline, the app stops and closes. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled, still the same.

I depend on this app for headlines and weather updates. it has had glitches where it closes, but they seem to get it updated quickly. Best for local KC tv stations.

Best overall local Kansas City news available online! News in more than just the "nice" parts of the metro area are routinely reported in a fair and timely manner. Excellent job, KSHB!!
