Kuku FM: Audio Series

I just don't like their connection with Google play or Google Wallet. On another app, after reading a book for a year and a half, I bought a coin package that I had just purchased 3 months before that, and then smaller ones since that. But they changed their policy, serialized their book, then started charging me for a subscription $9.99 per week! This book has been good so far, but I will not pay a single penny for any more coins. I had to get a new debit card to keep Google from using it.

The app tells a story and shared you 1 coin per minute. You get 10 free coins a day, and each episode is 8-15 min. The store is dumb because $0.99 is 20 coins, but if you buy the $20 package then you only get 160 coins instead of the 400 in ratio, plus it doesn't allow repeat purchases of the same package to get your money's worth. Update: the asked me to reach out. I did and they just reacted like "Yup, we know" and didn't offer any correction. The coin store is a scam! Don't pay past $0.99

The app isn’t handling the “Continue Listening” feature correctly. If I pause at episode 20 and return, it resumes fine. But if I continue to episode 53 and pause, then reopen the app later, it jumps back to episode 20 instead of continuing from 53. This happens every time, making the experience frustrating. It’s a serious flaw in an audiobook app that needs fixing.

Later, when I tried to cancel the auto-pay through PhonePe, noticed that your app had progressed ₹499 from without my knowledge. How could you do this without informing me? I want a refund and want to stop the auto-pay immediately. When I tried to cancel the auto-pay, it still showed the ₹499 payment. This is an unbelievable experience.

This is a very useless app. Ever since I purchased it, it has been working fine for 15 days, after that it is not opening. As soon as I open the app, it closes automatically. I am facing this problem since a long time. I am not getting any option to stop auto debit. According to me, you are very bad. Either run my app or refund my payment. At least give me the option to stop auto debit.

Just by deceiving someone you download it and these people deduct Rs 499 in the name of subscription, even if you have deleted their app. Now, if some poor person has a pass worth only Rs 500-600 and is going through a lot of difficulties, it will be applicable to him. There is a request to Google Play Store that such applications which have auto amount detection should be removed from the store.

This is a complete scam. I have already cancelled my autopay and received a refund previously for an unauthorized debit. Despite that, I am receiving messages that I have been "Subscribed" again without my consent. ​I checked my PhonePe, Google Pay, and Play Store—there is NO active autopay mandate. I downloaded the app expecting it to have full episodes. I didn't bother with the trial. Boy was I mistaken! To my surprise, some books my had 3 or four episodes.Some only had 30 episodes and left me hanging with no ending. How am I supposed to keep going on for 3 months?. Very disappointing. I would like to get a refund as I only had this app for 24 hours.

I went for a free trial but it debited my 230 rs and not given for subscription nor free trial it is a fraud app Please do not get it if more money in my account that will be debited more amount and one thing also it will generate Autopay( it will not getting stop or cancelled )directly that's why it deducts without your consent which is non ethical.

Money Scamming app. It deducted 499/- four times in the span of 6 months and when I requested refund, it only refunded me 499/- once. What about the other 499/- ? You took extra amount twice but do refund only once? When I tried to reach the customer care, their AI chat closes the window after repeated non-supporting conversations, they don't even assign any agent to solve this query. This is the classic money scamming technique. Give me my money back.

first of all, you deducted the money without any reminder and when I got to know about that I asked for the refund on 3rd day but u response that my 3 day refund window closed on 2nd day are u making fool of us??? and then when log in the app, there was no subscription I contacted to via email multiple times but my issue is still not resolved. now if u can't give a subscription then give my money back

this app is a big scammer. they deducted ₹499 without my consent even after i have stopped Autopay. how can i get back ₹499? and i want to get rid from this app, couldn't work even after i removed the app. i have reinstalled it to get contact with the scammers. i got message of deduction but couldn't reply. refund my money immediately. it's our hard earn money and don't want to spend without reason.

There is no customer care support only contact via email or robot chat bot is available which is completely useless. it feels like no one is there to help us. I have a subscription issue after paying it is showing no subscription but there is no support I have email them but it's been a day but no reply from their end.

Used Kuku FM for 3 years with an annual plan. This time, I clicked Renew, paid the same amount as a yearly subscription, and was given only 3 months — with no clear warning. No Half yearly or Annual options shown. Same price, shorter duration. That’s not renewal, that’s deception. Very disappointing and feels like money grabbing. Loyal users deserve transparency, not tricks. Check carefully before paying.

'm really disappointed with Kuku FM. I took the 7-day trial for ₹2, but after it ended, 499 was automatically deducted without my permission. I never wanted to continue the subscription. The system of this audio app is absolutely useless. My father installed this app for listening to the story and tested the trial version for seven days for Rs.2. But instead, for the autopay system, he was charged Rs.499 three times.This auto pay system is very bad for a simple person.Everyone should check this app carefully before installing it.

totally fake apps. only audio story available. if you came from video story advertisement. please don't start the application because all show is audio from no video available. some story has AI image. totally disappointed apps..
