Edit 6/21/2020: posts often give minimal info, then say they will update as more info is available, but never do update. I stand by my previous review below, as there has been no improvement. This used to be a professional and unbiased station. More and more ads every day. Now there is even a popup as soon as you enter the app. Always a 15-30 second ad lead-in on the video stories, with no opt-out. Horrible editing on the stories. Grammar, spelling and syntax often less than elementary-level.

This app is great but they don't give enough options to choose the types of notifications you want to receive and I am getting notification sometimes every 3 min. It's excessive and would like to be able to back off on the amount of them I receive and type...really just want notified of really important news and weather but not every little detail every 3 minutes!

I kind of get tired of all the national news and not as much local news. that's fine if you want to post national news just put it in its own separate section and I also like to be able to comment on some of these

It was a good app. Not now! You want your ads to speak! Not acceptable! Unwanted noise! I can read your news flashes if I chose.

More times that not when I click on a notification to read a story or article, I get the message "the story you requested could not be loaded." Which is frustrating as that notification is now gone and I now have to go look up the article elsewhere. I would like to choose what I get notified on as well.

I'd give it 5 stars except for video playback. I'm sure it's great to see HD quality, but those of us in rural MO need to be able to change the playback to the lowest available. Your weather app is brutal, and I uninstalled because it can take 2 or 3 minutes to buffer a 50+ second video, if it will play at all. Please add this feature to both apps or post to YouTube where the rest of us can watch. Otherwise, great news service and vital weather service.

Please stop the ads that interfere with my reading. They are loud and of no interest to me. I was just interrupted by a woman's voice about Silverado trucks. I couldn't find the ad to shut it up. I appreciate Ron Hearst's weather alerts, but they have become so loud they interrupt phone calls and videos. I had to disable that app because I couldn't find where to lower the volume. KY3 is my favorite, but now it's getting irritating.

When I'm scrolling through the news every single time I tap on a story it takes me back to the top of the list of headlines. It NEVER goes back to where I was in the list. I was using KSPR and had to change to this one. KSPR did not do this except after a length of time to do a refresh. Not wanting to use the other local station but if it stays this way I may have to try it.

App used to rotate to landscape to see the full picture on my android. Now it does not, making it difficult to see. It's more listening to the news. My phone settings haven’t changed, and it rotates to landscape on everything else. I have tried twice to send in a report but have never gotten a response. Is frustrating when no one responds.

Articles are often filled with poorly vetted information, grammatical errors, and more. Sharing articles does not seem to work well on mobile either - only gives option of Bluetooth and not text/email. In regards to the application, it tries to slap you in the face with obtrusive advertisements every chance it gets. There are other local news apps that overcome these issues.

I downloaded this app because I thought it was their Weather app. But when I went to go a redownload their weather app it said it does not support my device. Funny thing is I had it on my phone over the years and each time I had problems with it I would uninstall and then reinstall NO PROBLEM, but now, this morning I do the install and reinstall it says does not support this device. Ky3 weather is the only app I can trust in bad weather. But this is ridiculous. Not even on this app can I access

While connected to hs internet it still takes 18 minutes to get a screen then it has multiple options just to find what the notification you sent me was about. I'm deleting the app from my android phone, if you get a faster and better one i will consider returning. Thanks for listening.

Frankly had to use this junk after the KSPR app people decided to stop updating the news on it and direct everyone to this piece of junk. It doesn't update stories even if a breaking news notification pops up. It freezes half the time. News stories are only briefly gone over. Over all lousy app. Probably will delete as this is junk unless they fix the problems. Maybe whoever ran the KSPR app should have been put on this app right away.

The Ky3 News app has never been a well functioning app, but the news is worthy. Hopefully those businesses paying for advertising on here aren't paying much. The initial mandatory advertisement is frustrating. The app requires the user to re-scroll every story after selecting a story and exiting or backing out. The videos don't often load.

It's so confusing! You'll be in the middle of some news and then it just stops playing. Would be easier if we could just open the app hit the news we want to watch and it be there! I don't even know how to explain the confusion and irritation I feel when trying to use this app. Omg! I'm uninstalling!

Notification settings do nothing. Also tapping a notification doesn't take you to the story it's about. This happens to everyone I've asked. Maybe they could fix it if they updated the app more often. I checked it's been almost 4 months. Edit still have issues. I now get every notification twice.

Not user friendly. Whenever I get a notification, I tap on it and it then shows a radar map of the weather and it's dated May 14th. You'd think that after tapping the notification bar it would go straight to the real time reason for the notification.

All I get is ads when I click on the news button... I even reinstalled to see if that was the problem. Nope. Update: Jan. 2019. It seemed to be working again like normal, but it won't allow me to get the school closings and now it often closes with an error message.

There is absolutely no local news on this app at all. It used to be my go to app for local news. This app used to be a 5. If I could give it less than 1, I would. No matter where you click in the app, there are only misleading story links that take you to unsafe junk news websites. Update: Thank you for fixing this app.

The radar feature is absolutely wrong most of the time. Whatever the computer models are that get used are not accurate. I think if you went off of Ron Hearst or Brandon Becks intuition, you would have a better chance at forecasting the weather. On the other hand the KOLR 10 app is just as bad.
