Lasting: Marriage Counseling

It started out great. My husband and I were completing sessions and discussing during the 7 day trial, so I paid for the 3 month subscription. Immediately after my card was charged, the app refused to allow us to continue, because we needed to purchase a subscription. There's no immediate resolution, so now we are just wasting time and money in our 3 months waiting for someone to fix this problem. If we don't get a resolution, I will just have to contact VISA. I hate there is no one to call!

I only did the test and the 5 free sessions so far and I learned a lot. It was nice to be able to compare answer it opened up few feelings i didn't know about. Note: You don't have to do the 7 day trial when they ask you to, there is an x on the top right where you can click and go straight to the free 5 sessions. I saw someone complaining about it, they just did not see that little x to skip the ad for the premium.

This app is horrible. I emailed support, and got the we are aware and are working on it generic response a few weeks ago. I'll complete a module, and it gets completely erased. Also, my partner just let me know he did a few sessions in communication, but it's not showing on my end, nor did I get any notifications he was working on anything, and it deleted it on his end. Do not waste $30 a month on this app until they smooth out the wrinkles.

The info and exercises here are good for helping partners understand each other better and that seems helpful whether you've been married a few weeks or a few decades. I've had a few "Aha!" moments while reading the info after exercises. We're both using the app, purchased year subscription. We haven't compared answers yet but I'm excited to see what kind of discussions it will spark! The interface could be more fun, like adding in a few mini-games that partners could play together.

The app is great and has been very helpful with repairing some damage in my relationship. However, when we type out "other" answers in the text box on the multiple choice questions during sessions they are not being saved for some reason. This means we can't compare those answers, nor can we go back in to edit the session to see what we wrote because it's not there anymore. Once this issue is figured out I'd absolutely give this app 5 stars.

I had this app for months and months and it was FREE. I actually paid for the subscription for more content because it was so good. Then I got a new phone and missed out on one month of Lasting. I come back and all of my sessions are LOCKED and tell me that I have to pay $12 to unlock them?!?! You had my money when you weren't forcing me out of it... Deleting.

Really love the app! I think it is worth the money. I appreciate that there is a place where all of the resources are compiled for me. I don't have to go searching for it. I miss the animals that they showcased for the methods and pitfalls. The animal stories and facts, helped solidify the concepts in my mind. CONS: 7/7/20 There have been a few bugs recently having to do with notifications, it's annoying but not enough to stop using the app I paid for.

They make it next to impossible to cancel your subscription so you get stuck in a endless loop of paying $20 a month. We didn't get about use out of it to continue using it but it was so hard to cancel we just kept getting charged. It might actually cost less to just get a real couple counselor. EDIT: They did respond to my email and cancelled my subscription for me. Although I couldn't do it myself, the costumer service in reacting to this was very good. I've updated the stars to reflect this.

EDIT** I LOVED THIS APP! My husband and I used it everyday for almost a year. We got new phones and totally forgot all about this app for about 2yrs and just recently re-downloaded it just to find out that you can't hardly do anything anymore without paying a $30/month subscription! Super disappointed! It was an amazing app and I might have paid a subscription before, but $30/month is ridiculous. I'm uninstalling.

I love this app. It's really been very helpful with our issues and has helped us develop a way of communicating with out fear of awkwardness,being embarrassed or whatever someone may feel when baring their all. Id give 5stars EXCEPT for 1 issue. The spot where you can type your own answer, under 'other', if you leave app for few minutes, all you just typed dissappear, and you can't copy it incase you want to finish writing it later (since if you don't hit done and leave app open, it disappears)

Too many bugs and way too expensive. Broke couples need therapy, too, expecially because the app recognizes how money stressors affect relationships. I was very stressed out by the overwhelming number of prompts and the open ended nature of the discussion in the on boarding questionnaire. The positive agreement between us was listed first, sure, but we didn't touch it. So it was just a very negative initial experience with the app. Could be better.

it says free, but there's a free trial for 7 days then you have to pay.and lately, from other experiences, I don't even trust google play with that. Another free trial app just charged $59 and another $39 on the first day of a 3 day free trial. So, everybody's ripping people off thesr days huh? Anyway, from what I've seen, it could be great if both people take part and even just read the concepts.

First of all my previous review was deleted! I was autologged out of my lasting account and I can't remember my password. The only option to get back on is through the "magic link" they send. But the link doesn't work, it's faulty. I wrote to them several times and no one got back to me. I'm being charged with no option of using the app.

We signed up for the free trial and we were told it would cost 9.99/ month; however, our card was charged $15.99. We have tried to cancel the subscription- by following the website directions, but it is not canceling. It keeps showing we have no subscriptions, but obviously we do- because we are being charge $15.99/ month. We want out of this subscription!!

Would be a great app! But there are some issues. The info for partner activity sends notifications that they completed something, only to go in and find out that they haven't. Plus, all of the activities, show that they were from a couple to a few mins ago. Which I personally know happened months ago. EXTREMELY ANNOYING... Anyways, it's still a wonderful app with lots of potential. And has worked. But it's not engaging enough to keep us both invested in it.

I have been charged for this app after doing a trial and cancelled it and that's still being charged every month for several months. I only used the app for part of some anxiety quiz and then requested them to not charge my card, and thsy did for months. It's a card I usually don't use so I had no idea it was continuing to be charged. Not really worth even one charge of 29.99 let alone every month. Please credit my card back please.

Idk how I even found this but I have been using it just myself and it helps in many aspects of life, including in the workplace and how you interact with others, period. I guess the first sign of a failed marriage is the husband not caring to partake?!?! Hahaha unfortunately an app can't help THAT. However, personal growth and learning is never ending and this app does it in such a simple, clean-cut, easy way. Totally recommend for ANYONE wanting personal growth.

I really love all the content of this app there's some sections I think could be a little longer and so that can be a little shorter, but overall the content of this app is amazing and has given my husband and I an opportunity to talk about things that we have struggled with. it's helped us have honest conversations without worrying quite as much about hurting the other. However, app functionality could be better. It's hard to revise an answer and sometimes we'll delete really long comments.

Terrible! I purchased for the initial 6 months and then notified ahead of time that I wanted to cancel. All you get in response is a canned message that they will respond in 24 hours. I was just charged $89.99...for what? This app is not worth it. The app sends pretend emails that can't be responded to. The advice is poor and can be found anywhere. I did not want to continue my subscription.

Great tool. Lousy performance. I love the workshops and daily questions. Notifications don't always appear. When they do I can see my partner answered but open the app and it's missing. He isn't notified when I complete anything. Have had to Uninstaller and reinstall numerous times to to try to iron out the kinks. Sometimes it works. Usually it doesn't. After the update I just got, the daily question was horribly out of order. I had to decipher it. Fix the bugs or I'm done.
